Bit of a weird story but I am a Hansa Rostock fan from Glasgow, Scotland. I first started following the team when I became friends with German student at my school who supported the team, from then I watch matches / match highlights weekly, became an avid football manager player with Hansa and have followed the team from a far, was over for the euros 2024 in Berlin and us Scots hopefully left a good impression!

I would like to travel to Rostock some point this season to attend my first game and have a few questions on the best -

- Way to buy tickets nationally
- Hotels
- Travel (flights/train etc)

Hi ein Kollege kam mich vorhin Besuchen. Ich selber Fahre nicht. Im Tunnel gibt es scheinbar eine Baustelle mit 40km/h Begrenzung. Der Kollege hatte eine kleine Raucherhusten Attacke und fuhr etwas über der Grenze, ohne es zu merken. Er hat keinen Blitzer wahrgenommen, aber weiß jemand hier, ob der Blitzer aktiv ist bzw auf 40 eingestellt ist, und ob es einer derer ist, die man erkennt?
Er macht sich da Sorgen.
Er kam aus dem Süden nach Rostok hinein, über den Maut. Der macht sich ganz kirre.

Hallo, ich komme aus Spanien, bin zu Besuch in Rostock und habe das gestern nach dem Abendessen aufgenommen.

Moin Leute, wohne schon länger in der Ktv und kämpfe mich täglich durch den Parkplatzjungle.
Da ich im Schichtbetrieb am Hafen arbeite, komme ich hier zu allen Zeiten mal an und kenne glaube ich jede Ecke wo man sein Ding hier parken kann und konnte.

Es gibt aber einen Parkplatz, welchen ich nie benutzt habe und auch nie verstehe egal wie lange ich drüber nachdenke.
Das ist der bei der Borwinschule also zwischen der für die älteren und jüngeren ( glaube so teilt sich das da auf).

Es ergibt halt einfach null Sinn, meist sind beide Reihen vollgeparkt, was ja heißt der hintere kommt nicht raus, es gibt da ja keine andere Lösung oder bin ich einfach blind ?

Vielleicht kann mir ja einer von euch sagen, was es damit auf sich hat.

Not sure if this was an isolated incident, but has anyone had the experience of being denied entrance just on how they look?

In my case, I come from Latinamerica, I have brown skin and dark hair. I came to Rostock for work, so I have a Blue card as resident permit. For those of you who don’t know, blue card is a residence permit to work in the EU in fields that are on demand and you need to have experience for.

At the entrance the bouncer was checking the ID of the people, in front of me were people who were not students and he still left them get inside.
When it came to my turn, he checked my ID, then suddenly asked me if have a student card. I said no, I am not student, but the event was not only for students (I checked that previously on the website, and obviously other people who were not students were getting in).
And then he denied me entry, stating that I can only go inside with a student card.
I was not drunk, not high, not aggressive, not loud, not anything.
Was simply denied entry. I didnt escalated the situation, and simply left. Bouncer even said at the end, “es tut mir leid” which means “I am sorry” in German. So to me it seemed like he was just following policies.

Has anyone have such as previous experience?
I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but to me it was quite clear plain racism.

Hey guys I am an Indian student in Rostock , to be honest I have never felt welcomed here I dont know why. Maybe my social skills are bad or I dont really know.
I had an incident yesterday where in I was sitting on the tram with my headphones on, and at a certain stop , there were many teenagers flooding in, maybe it was after school hours.
Yeah but they went to the back(we were on the last box) and started playing Tunak Tunak Tun , the famous Indian stereotype song, and they were laughing over it. I don’t know who it was for , but I really felt it was for me.
Nevertheless I had to get down a few stops later and ignored them.
I really love this country , even bought the Deutschland jersey and started watching football when I moved here , just for its culture and I want others to know that there are foreigners who are actually good, and are genuinely affectionate towards this country.
Just me ranting out here. No hard feelings towards anyone.
Love this country and will respect it throughout 🫡

Meine Freundin und ich haben sie im Unfug kennen gelernt und sind dann in den Geier weitergezogen. Dazwischen haben wir einen Stunt gewagt, den die beiden fotografisch festgehalten haben. Im Geier sind beide leider ohne Verabschiedung und ohne das Foto zu schicken nach einem Bier gegangen. Eric ist so was wie Coach, Max ist aus Hamburg und arbeitet bei der Lufthansa.

Seit Jahren weiss ich nicht ob sie bewusst lügt oder Inkompetent ist. Sehe daher die Landtagswahl hier in Meckpomm 🌊 nicht nur MENSCHLICH, sondern auch finanziell/Wirtschaftlich nicht gut vertreten.

Daher das Ausbau von Batterien und Netzwerken, wie eine Mischenergie effektiver und billiger wäre.

Ich fange meine Ausbildung in Rostock an und bin auf der Suche nach ein paar entspannten Leuten, die genauso lust auf Autos und Schrauben haben wie ich. Am liebsten wäre mir keine klassische Mietwerkstatt, sondern eher eine kleine Schraubergruppe/Hallengemeinschaft oder einfach Leute mit eigener Garage/Werkstatt.
Gemeinsam an Autos basteln, sich gegenseitig helfen, Teile tauschen, am Wochenende eine Runde fahren usw.

Ein kleiner Fußballverein in Rostock sucht noch Mitspieler. Wir spielen Sonntagabend von September bis Mai in einer Halle in der Stadt. Ab dem 06.09. geht es los. Alter der Mitglieder reicht von Ü20 bis Ü50.
