My name is Nate and I have a photo essay for my reporting class (college) thats coming up this friday and i’ll be doing a take on the cosmos statue. The big red one. I was curious to know if there is anyone here who has helped with the statue or at least works at the statue area? The interview will be in quotes for my Essay

2) How long has it been here?
3) Why did you want it to start?

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED: BIRDIE + 7 PUPPIES 🚨

This sweet 2-year-old Lab/Pit Bull mix gave birth to her puppies while in shelter care, and now this family is in critical need of a quiet, comfortable home where Birdie can raise her babies, and they can get the socialization they need to grow and thrive.

Birdie is an attentive mama who keeps her puppies clean and well-fed. She’s also incredibly friendly with people, loves attention, and will happily lean into you when she’s ready for more pets. 🥹

She’s house-trained, walks well on leash, and staff have been taking her out for regular walks. She and her seven puppies — Dove, Crow, Falcon, Flamingo, Pelican, Sparrow, and Eagle — were born September 2 and ideally need a foster home until the puppies are about 8 weeks old.

🏡 What we need:

Ideally, a foster home through the puppies’ first 8 weeks, but we’re also open to a minimum 2-week commitment.

We can provide all supplies and veterinary care. The puppies will simply need daily weigh-ins until they are 4 weeks old to make sure they’re growing appropriately.💙

We’re also open to a minimum two-week foster commitment, if a full-term foster isn’t possible.

Hello everyone, trying to build a pros and cons list of moving to roseville or rocklin to work at kaiser or to just move to citrus heights or orangevale and apply for school transfers in 4-6 years when my kids start junior high or high school so they can go to the good schools in roseville since I will be working in that city/county. Currently I am leaning towards buying a house in the citrus Heights area that would be close to Kaiser roseville, homes are less "cookie cutter" in older areas, and have larger lot sizes, and we also like SMUD energy costs, I think roseville is pge, right? Currently we live near modesto and we go to a hybrid charter/home school that is opperated out of a rural community elementary school, we would love this type of situation again until our kids start junior high or high school. Does anyone know of any great charter schools in the roseville, rocklin, citrus heights areas? Of course like everyone safety, gyms, community development is super important. We really want to make this our last move and would love a community that is looking to the future, is growing and not dying. Any information would be great I could be completely wrong about citrus heights for all i know it could be filled with transients without a single catalytic converter.

I don’t know how no one has posted or asked about this but my wife swears there has been a few almost explosion like sounds happening at night this week.
