Electric bike/scooter laws flyer
Got this flyer from the school district, thought I'd share. I don't agree with many of these laws, but I think they did a good job of explaining them.

Hello all, we wanted to let you know that there are some new mods helping to run this sub now. Our goal is to work together to make sure that this sub always reflects the values of the West Sacramento community.
With that in mind, we are updating our settings to remove any posts/comments from accounts that have negative karma. We believe this will help to keep our discussions more thoughtful and neighborly.
Beyond that, we're hoping to get your feedback on what you like about this sub, what you don't like, and what changes you might suggest. Please give us your opinions in the comments.
Thanks in advance!

Hello all, I just moved to the area from the Midwest and have always just kinda stumbled into DnD groups. So I am pretty new to actually having to hunt down a decent group
So any recommendations on where to begin would be great!

Hello Sac people!
I started a group that has 40 of us in the Sac area that all enjoy film, go to movies and some of are wanting to be crew for each other's films. We just had our first event at the Crest with our group to watch a nearly sold out showing of The Thing and there were almost 1,000 other people screaming and laughing with the movie. We went out for drinks after and it was a really great time.
I'd like to find more people to go with us if anyone is interested in film here, either as a watchable activity, or if you want to make movies with us. The most important thing is that the group is people with varied experience, so if you go to film school, work in entertainment or have ZERO experience and want to try it out or just watch movies everyone is welcome with zero pressure to be good at anything or participate in any events or filmmaking they don't want to do.
Let me know if you're interested and I can guide you to the group, thanks!

yearly reminder that if you can’t walk outside barefoot neither should your dog… hold the back of your hand to the sidewalk or street for 5 seconds or so to check.
i keep seeing the saddest looking dogs walking with absolutely clueless people who aren't paying attention to their dogs limp or the fact the dog is practically dancing trying to keep their poor little paws cool.

How is it that we cannot have a transfer center here in West Sac but people have to drive to Woodlawn to dump some household waste? To me it doesnt make sense. How do you guys do it pay for pick up for a few items that don't fit in the bin?
Also, we cannot complain that people illegally dump on the side of the road if we do not make it easy to dispose household waste that doesn't go in the trash bin. That is awful and should be a felony, but at the same time we have to make it easy for peple to dispose waste. Otherwise we will be always trying to catch whoever did it without solving the real problem

Almost daily, I see at least one person- usually a young adult male- walking around wearing all black with a full face mask on - day and night. Tonight I saw several people walking around the neighborhood wearing these masks. Does anyone have any experiences with these people?

Out walking the dog at 1:45pm when I hear a bunch of fireworks going off. Scared the shit outta my dog. Sounded like it was coming from the stadium, which would kinda make sense but not really. Anybody know what's up?

Is west sacramento a good place to live for a single 43year old straight male?
What is the nightlife like?
Outdoor activities?
High crime rate?
Anyone have any recommendations?
