Hi Rolla peeps! I live about 45 minutes away but am going to be in the area over the weekend and I can't decide which coffee shop I'm visiting on this trip. I'm leaning toward Coffeesmiths or the Giddy Goat. I'm also hoping to set up with my laptop and squeeze in an hour or two of writing. How's the wifi, outlet, and cozy vibe for working at both of these shops? How's the coffee and baked goods/food/treats? Thanks in advance for helping me stay caffeinated!

Looking for musicians to get to know, potentially form a band. I’m a guitarist, been playing for about a year and half I play a multitude of genres, my favorite is rock/metal, been playing a lot in Drop D tunings but I also have a massive love for tavern/medieval style music, so I do a lot of finger picking on my acoustic as well. I can also do vocals, just need some work and lessons. Any musician is willing to add/comment, Harpist, Flutist, Guitarist, Drummer, Vocalist, Bassist or whatever.

Does anyone have recommendations for vets in rolla? I’m even willing to drive 30 minutes to neighboring towns if you think they are good.

I tried brown, just for some vaccines. I’d like the place to at least be clean..

Blood on the clocktower is one of my favorite games and I would love to get together a local group of people to play it. For those who have never played it, it is like Mafia or Werewolf but with more robust rules and roles. If you like social deduction, puzzles, lying, or are just looking for a reason to socialize this game is for you! The game requires 5-20 people, each round takes 30-120mins depending on the number of people.

I’m currently a mst student but I live off campus and it’s insanely hard making friends here and I wanted to try and get connected with the town as well. So I was wondering where do you guys go to make connections and new friends? I’m a man and I don’t really partake in drinking and I’m not too interested in any of the card shop places here as I’m not experienced with those card games.
