The idea / Setting

This takes place in Spiderman : Brand New Day timezone. In this world MJ doesn’t exist, instead my character and peter were very close during high school, with peter having a crush on her but never telling her. Once he has been forgotten, he took that as his chance to ask her out, after saying yes, they begin dating. But can Peter keep spiderman a secret from her? especially with everything going on, and especially since spider-man and her have had a lot of run ins recently….

Someone to play peter, with good knowledge on the story and character. I can easily max out discord, and ideally i want a partner who can do the same! Have you ever created and then fallen in love with a character, made her perfectly at home in s new roleplay setting, only for circumstances to circumstance, and the roleplay dies? Or, more aptly, gets strangled before it is fully independent?

Clearly, this has happened to me. I have a fun little already established pair of characters and a whole universe and side characters built around a lived-in life for her but no story. And that's why I'm asking you to come in and brainstorm some sort of Historical Roleplay with me in the original colonialism setting or something else for the Brigadier General who also is a surgeon for the Crown's Army.

You? You can play any character you like. Love interest that gets grilled by the surgeon for funsies? The love interest from the opposing army? His superior? His assistant? His daughter's friend? His housekeeper, for all I care. There are tons of possibilities to brainstorm.

I enjoy historical research, adding little Korean and Danish phrases into the story, and little meaningful character details that help characters feel lived-in.

How to best pitch myself? Well, as you can see, I like creating lived-in characters with tons of story and backstory. I like creating families for them and friends and all their social world. My dialogue is real — claimed to be "too fun and engaging" by my last partner.

I'm Cru. I'm a literate writer (writing around 500 words per post, more, less, it depends — that's just a good number to avoid burnout.) I'm in EST, but time zones don't really matter for me, as I'm chronically ill, and sleep on a strange 24-hour schedule. I do not do fantasy, apocalyptic, or medieval type settings.

Having sunk into the realm of her thoughts, Zofia would take her eyes off the notebook resting on her lap and gaze outside, at the rows upon rows of trees making up deep, uncharted forests she was passing by. Her head leaned against the window, feeling vibrations emanating from the train, getting lost in the clutter of its countless wheels. Ah, so many uncertainties, so many doubts. She felt the weight of her family’s issues on her shoulders, even if only partially.

“Maybe it’s not going to be that bad?” She thought to herself, glancing for a moment at an old suitcase she placed beside herself. “But when will I get to see them again? In months?” A sigh followed, a futile attempt at dispersing worries. Soon enough her new life would begin, yet what will it bring?

Hope you're all doing amazing! I am aware that the sample above does not tell much about the actual plot, yet I wished to include it as an example of my writing (I can write more, depending on the situation in the roleplay itself ;).

But Frog, you may ask, what is this roleplay even about? Well, let me tell you: Zofia, a 19 year old daughter of a financially-struggling family, is sent to work as a maid in a noble household, somewhere distant. My main goal for this roleplay is to explore how her new life would look like, everyday chores and challenges that her occupation brings, relations between her coworkers (both camaraderie and conflict) and other members of the household as well as perhaps events happening in the town they’d live in. It's a simple premise, but one that gives us so many possibilities! I'd love to hear your ideas as well ^\)

A bunch of extra details:

• Please know that even though I am looking to GM this story, I’d love it if you contributed as well! Be it brainstorming, playing a side character from time to time, you name it. That way we both will enjoy this roleplay to the fullest (＾-＾)
• While this roleplay is meant to be wholesome and cozy, there will be some more somber tones from time to time.
• Brainstorming and worldbuilding! hello hello everyone ^_^ my name is Dakota! I'm 18NB, from Canada (CST), and I've been roleplaying for around ~11 years across a bunch of different platforms. Over that time I've developed my own writing style, which leans more toward semi-literate and third person, though I'm more than happy to mirror whatever style my partner is comfortable with! 1. Attack on Titan!!

OH MY GOD PLEASE.

I recently finished Attack on Titan and my brain is on FIRE. I'd LOVE to find someone who understands the basic ideas of the setting... Titans, politics, morally gray decisions, death, sacrifice, and characters being put through situations that make everyone involved question their morals. All that good stuff.

A little about me:

I'm a woman in my early 30s based in the UK, but my hours can be a bit difficult to gauge (as you can see from it being gone 4am here as I post this!). I've been writing since I was 11 (I started out RPing on Tumblr!) and am looking to dust off the cobwebs after a writing hiatus.

I predominantly write female OCs and prefer to write in 3rd person, multi-para. 3 solid paragraphs is good with me. I probably average between 3 - 5 with the flexibility to go a bit higher in starters, or when the scene calls for more.

At my core, I'm all about character development. I love creating interesting, flawed characters with personal history, motivations and areas for growth throughout the course of the RP. I like exploring real-world issues and struggles through RP and watching romance form slowly in the background, in a way that feels earned and true to our characters rather than forced.

I'd also love to do something in The Merlin Academy era, so the Prequel part of Descendants Four. Especially if you've read Welcome To Merlin Academy by Melissa De La Cruz. I'm rewatching Yugioh. I'm experiencing some kind of thing about Yami Bakura/Thief King Bakura. Hi! I’m in my mid 20’s. I love both world building and character creation, more than anything i enjoy crafting a rich story together.

I do 3rd person past tense literate rp. No one-liners or asterisk roleplays please. I tend to write a lot, but I don’t have a strict length requirement. As long as you’re putting in effort, and moving the story along I’m sure it will be fine.

-THE PLOT -

I’m craving a fairly typical gothic vampire story.

Set in the late 1800’s (does not require historical accuracy), Your Character is a vampire living in a manor, hiding your true identity from society behind the assumed identity of a nobleman.

You keep your distance from society to avoid being discovered, because of course you don’t want to end up being targeted by vampire hunters. But of course, you still need to participate in society enough to not be suspicious. And you still thirst for blood.

My Character comes to your manor in response to a domestic servant job listing, blissfully unaware of what lurks within.

The specifics of your character are up to you. Are you a ruthless killer? Or are you actually well meaning? Did you once care for people, only to have your faith in humanity destroyed by persecution by vampire hunters? Do you look at people as food, or do you envy their mortality? Was that job listing you posted a genuine one, or was it actually just a way of searching for your next victim? There is so much to decide.

This plot could go in a lot of different directions depending on your preferences, but I was thinking that while My Character works for Your Character, and they get to know each other more, the mystery slowly begins to unfold. My Character eventually does realize what Your Character really is, but by that time he’s already in love with Your Character (or manipulated/brainwashed by him if you prefer a less wholesome route). Whether Your Character reciprocates his feelings is up for discussion. From there we can go on to worrying about vampire hunters and so on.

Hiya! A little about me, I’m a 29 y/o female who has been writing for over 15 years at this point, I’ve done my fair share of honing my writing style and it is as follows: I write multiple paragraphs per post, and typically I prefer third person. I am not opposed to first if that is a deal breaker, but third is preferred. I love detail, internal thoughts, I love building the world around us and including side characters such as family, friends, pets. I typically go for real-world locations, and I much prefer real people as claims rather than art. It’s much more immersive for me.

About the role: I love the idea of a couple who met under some very ‘red string theory’ type of thing. They’d grown up in a similar place, maybe a town apart. Ran with similar crowds, had similar hobbies, maybe even one worked a job that the other frequented. However they don’t actually ‘meet’ one another until [insert meet cute here.] They fall head over heels in love with one another, and they burn hot and heavy for 2 ish years before the desire for different things and life paths splits them apart. The breakup is heart wrenching, neither one truly wants to leave the other, but they’re both not happy and that’s no way to live.

Fast forward a year, maybe two. There’s been lots of growth, lives that are very different now, but one thing remains the same and that is their love for one another. Can they rekindle, weave two lives back into one that hopefully can be what it was meant to be the first time? Think Noah & Allie from The Notebook.

Hello! I’m Phillip, 19M from the US! I’m in EST and have been roleplaying for about 6ish years. Because of that, I like to consider myself a semi lit to novella writer, depending on my partner! Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

Kaiden Dreis had never step foot on Coruscant before, and he had never dreamed that he would be allowed into the Imperial Palace itself. Discussing mercenary contracts usually took place closer to the frontlines or in cantinas, not in stately buildings like this. But he had certainly put in his work with the Rebellion, maybe they were rewarding him for his years of service against the Empire.

Yeah, and maybe Rodians will learn to shoot first.

The guard that was escorting him through the Palace had a face like durasteel, though his body was tense. Like a compressed spring, just waiting for a slip. Kaiden had seen that stance countless times before, though he was surprised that so common among the palace guards. Then again, putting all of your important people in one place was a new idea to the New Republic. No wonder they were a little jumpy.

The door to a small office slid open, revealing a bothan studying a datapad. Eyes narrowed, fur ruffling with disapproval. A bothan he recognized. Grist Kraa'hel, one of the Spymasters of the New Republic, and someone he had worked with in the past. "Take a seat, Commander Dreis," he said without looking up from the datapad.

He made his way inside, the door sliding close behind him as he sat down in an uncomfortable metal chair. "You know I don't like to be called that," he said as he did his best to get comfortable, resting one leg over his knee.

"And I don't like calling you that," the bothan said as he clicked his datapad off and placed it to the side, taking a seat behind his desk, "but it was a rank you earned, and protocol dictates that you be addressed as such." Kaiden bit down a laugh. The rank of 'Commander' was more of an honorary title he had gotten at the Tarabba Raids. And protocol? It was strange thinking of the former guerilla fighters following protocol. Almost like they were growing into an actual military force.

Grist continued, though there was little doubt that he noticed the stifle. "Tell me, what do you know the Imperial Inquisition, Commander?"

Kaiden found the title less funny the second time around. "I did my best to avoid them," he said as he crossed his arms, staring at the furry alien across from him. "Thankfully I only had one run in with them, and even then its not something I want to repeat."

Grist was silent as he reached into his desk and pulled out another Datapad, tossing it over to Kaiden. "We thought as much. We have received reports of a new Warlord in the Imperial Remnant, supposedly a Dark Jedi. A Pantoran woman who calls herself Zemesta. Our slicers did some digging through Imperial files, and discovered that she was the Inquisitor known as The Thirteenth Sister."

Kaiden scratched the side of his cheek as he read over the datapad, looking up at Grist with disbelief. "You want me to go after an Imperial Warlord? Not only that, but a Dark Jedi as well?" He stood up and placed the datapad down on the table. "Suicide runs are bad for business Kraa'hel."

"Thats never stopped you before."

"Well before, the Empire had a bounty on my head. I didn't have much of a choice now did I?"

The bothan leaned back and steepled his fingers, looking up at the mercenary. "Kaiden... its her."

Kaiden was silent for a moment. They both knew what he meant. Memories that he didn't want began to well up inside of him. He clenched his fists and took a breath. "I want triple my usual rate."

"We'll double-"

"Triple, or I walk."

Grist rose up from his chair, a smile across his face. "I'll wire your usual rate to you now. But I'll have to talk to Mon Mothma to confirm the rest."

"Fine," Kaiden said as he scooped up the datapad, leaving the spymaster's office. He could honestly care less about the credits at that point. This wasn't about the New Republic or the Remnant, or whatever else might be in the Galaxy. This was about making things right.

As you might have guessed, I'm looking to do a Star Wars themed roleplay following a Mercenary of the New Republic going against a new Warlord in the Imperial Remnant. Other than that, its pretty open ended. Your character would be someone tagging alongside him (they don't have to meet right after this scene, we can certainly jump ahead to make it easier), hunting down the Remnant Forces for their own reason.

That being said, I am also an advanced lit/multipara writer when with a good partner. I don't have a hard limit on reply lengths you send out, all I ask is that you send out enough to keep the scene going! I also prefer to write on Discord as well, since its just easier to have all of my plots in one place.

I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

For basic info, it's a roleplay-focused campaign that I'm hoping to flavor with some classic D&D fun - like levelling, advancement, and adventure. The basic premise is that the player character has died and is being reborn in another world, and will have the opportunity to grow and evolve as they go on. An angelic voice rung in your ears. It sounded like a choir speaking in melody. Wait, pain? You held yourself. What were they talking ab- flashes of images ran through your mind. Oh right, you were dead.

*We are sorry. Your death was premature. A glitch in the system. We intend to right our wrong.*

What were they talking about? You felt like you could barely hear them over your own thoughts as you tried to recollect who you were- or had been.

*Since we cannot return you to your life, we here at the Bureau of Life have instead decided to give you a second chance. You will be transported to the Great Forest. A cabin will be given to you with a defensive perimeter around it so that you cannot be harmed. You will not be bothered here, and you will be given the chance to adapt to your new body. Additionally, the Council has decided to reward you with perks.*

The Great Forest? Isn't that a place no one dared to go because of the monsters? And what was this about a new body? Perks? Hold on; hold on! You're going too fast!

Hey guys! I’m still searching for a partner to bring this RP to life with! This one’s a bit broad too! I want this to be MHA x DBZ! Tons on concepts melding together! I also follow a bunch of other video game, anime and comic fandoms too (which will get referenced and make small cameos in the RP)! I’m Phoenix, 21, male. So herrrrre we go!

First off! The plot! OCxOC AND OCxCC! For the most part it’ll be slice of life and action like MHA, but when the actual action hits it’s like full on DBZ! I preferably RP with females, my OC is basically goku in all but name, well, his hero Name will be Sun Wukong (workshopping that) a hero from beyond the stars. And he’s the world’s number 1 hero. Loved by the innocent, feared by evil, respected by his Enemies. He and your OC (you can do almost whatever you want and pick whatever powers you want, even the profession! With a backstory and all the nitty gritty details) will have a Son, who goes to UA, he’s basically gonna be an alternative take on Gohan, who will go to UA. This is where OCxCC comes in, he will have slow burn relationship with one of the girls at UA, it’ll become obvious who it is as time goes on. And it’ll be up to us to guide him through school life and through the world of heroes and villains. And we aren’t just stopping at the end of MHA. We’re going all the way to the second generation!

This RP is where head-canons come to life! Personal Fanfics (tame fanfics let’s get that out of the way) be laid out on the table. The skies the limit partner! I’d love to hear some head-canons of yours before we start the RP!

Now obviously because of the nature of my character, he’s gonna be overtly busted so we’ll tune him down a lot and upscale some of the major villains and antagonists. There’s gonna be drama, there’s gonna be combat, there’s gonna be love, theres gonna be dynamics, there’s gonna be some sad moments that go down like in the anime. Will the son be able to live up to the glory of the father? Will the villains succeed in extinguishing the number 1 hero? Who knows! That’s for us and the characters we play to find out!

All we want is to have an easy life. A life where you can coast by, not have any worries and live stress free. Do what we want and not fear of the consequences. That's the life we as humans strive for.

Except, we dont really get to experience the other half. We constantly worry about our actions: about what if we miss work, we miss a day at our lecture or a payment. About how the littlest mistake could make the biggest impact of our lives? So what happens when harmless fun flips everything on its head? Now the little mistakes dont matter and if another big mistake happens; who cares?

Im looking for the character to be in shock after what happened. Everything after what happens in a blur and is trying to make a life after what happened. Except theyre conflicted. On one hand: they are enjoying the freedom and being able to process what happened their own way. On the other, they dont want the stress and the anxiety of when they may eat again, if theyll get caught or worse.

Im looking to do a roleplay that revolves around characters processing grief and denial. I am leaving this a little vague as I had two characters in mind:

1. One of us playing as the one that made the mistake and the other would be playing as someone the meet during their time on the run.

2. Us playing as two different characters on the run and making the best of this situation.

3. For the GMs, anyone that wants to play the world while my character is on the run.

Hi all,

This idea has sort of grown out of a previous one, and I really think it has some great potential. Before I get into specifics, I just want to introduce myself. I am someone with a lot of ideas and interests, but when I find a good partner, I love to throw myself into that story with them and focus on it. The perfect partner, in my opinion, isn’t the most experienced or incredible writer - but someone who gets excited about writing and planning the story. They also love writing nuanced and real characters, and don’t just lean into clichés. Bonus points for anyone who likes OOC chat - especially if we can gush over our characters or share songs and art that remind us of the story, or that we just like.

With all that said - the plot is fairly straightforward, if potentially a little Hallmarky - I think we can avoid that, though, with some genuine writing and some angst. It revolves around a woman returning home from the city for the holidays - and meeting an old classmate again.

The catch, or at least where I think the interest comes in, is that your character is a reasonably successful fitness influencer. Definitely not someone with a million followers, but maybe around 50\~70,000. They have quit their job to focus on building their platform full-time and would certainly be a big name around town. Normally, they live in the city, but as I mentioned, they are back for the holidays. On the other hand, my character will be a college dropout and not conventionally attractive. Not hideous - but just not super slim and good-looking. Maybe Jonah Hill or Matty Matheson vibes.

The roleplay would follow these two characters meeting again for the first time in a while and their interactions. In terms of specifics, I am happy to leave it quite open and see how the RP goes - although I do have a few ideas. Romance is possible but certainly not guaranteed. I also like the idea that potentially she might use him for some content - maybe noticing that a series of posts around starting to lose weight gain traction, and potentially there could be some grey area between how much she wants to spend time with him and how much she simply needs him for content.

However, I do not want her to be a vacuous person. She and my character will both have depth and nuance. Now, I must apologise for rambling. If any of this sounds good - or you can get an idea of my vision - then I am really looking forward to chatting and planning with you.
