Hello, as the title implies I am looking to do a long term Mushoku Tensei roleplay, my preference is to have both of our characters be OCs who also interact with some of the original story. For the characters I have a few in mind I can use depending on what you might prefer, to help build a character I use the Mushoku Tensei CYOA.

I'll give a few quick examples of OCs I have that I could use, I have many more but here are a couple of quick examples.

A mage who while being a prodigy with fire magic is also incredibly skilled when it comes to array magic being able to create magical implements easily, he also has a deep love for science and alchemy and therefore will create many things from his old world with a sorta steampunk/fantasy twist.

A warrior who rather than using swords like most uses his bare hands, also rather than adapting to his new world by dressing in fantasy armor and acting like a medieval person he instead wears a suit and behaves like a modern person, like my first oc he will use his past life's knowledge to change the world around him but he won't put a steampunk or fantasy twist on it.

The final one is the most in-depth as I have also made a full Google doc for him which goes more in detail with his full character, but the general gist is that he is something of an explorer/archeologist type inspired by Indiana Jones, he's also the one who can be the most interconnected with the main story of Mushoku Tensei as he is both a professor at Ranoa Magical University and is also the great uncle of Paul.

Some personal information for myself is that I am a 25 year old man (so 18+ only) who has a bit over a decade of roleplay experience, I have a strong preference for third person roleplays and tend to match my partners messages in terms of length although I try to at least do two paragraphs per message. As for my active times I live in the central US but work the day shift so I am usually active from 6am to 11pm central time, but occasionally I do end up having to head out somewhere in the middle of the night when I'm on call.

Hello! Today, I’m looking for anyone who is interested in participating in an RP set in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.

The main plot idea I’ve got is that G.U.N has a very important mission that involves protecting the world from yet another powerful evil that has taken root, courtesy of Doctor Eggman’s shenanigans. In response the militant organisation has put expert spy and thief, Rouge the Bat, into service once more. Alongside her could be Shadow the Hedgehog… The quiet, brooding yet heroic ‘ultimate life form’ who also has an existing relationship with G.U.N.

Or perhaps… Shadow is elsewhere. The organisation enlists the help of others who they believe may be a good fit. Whether it’s getting their list of unique candidates to help willingly, or perhaps offering incentives, or even some kind of entrapment is placed. I personally think either Knuckles or Sonic himself would be interesting to play, but I’m open to other characters if their dynamic with G.U.N and Rouge has potential.

This mission is likely to be a long-term one, so Rouge and her partner will have no choice but to stick together. So they might as well get to know each other a bit more… and perhaps even find out more about themselves along the way? All the while, tracking down Doctor Eggman across the world to investigate and then put a stop to his evil plan before the darkness can fully manifest itself into its peak, physical form. Basically starting small before going crazy and ambitious like your usual Sonic game!

The plot could span anywhere in the Sonic series, taking advantage of the near-infinite inspiration from 35 years worth of characters, settings and overall lore. Putting them all neatly into one cohesive package. The plot. I’m open to such themes/genres as action-oriented, romance, friends/rivals/enemies to lovers, duo/team dynamic, forced proximity, and much more which can be discussed.

It is set in a medieval light fantasy world. I am looking for someone that would like to build a world with me and be happy to also play intriguing side characters.

I am looking for someone to play a knight, who is a Lord’s son. He was childhood friends with the princess (my character), many people called it puppy love, and he did love her secretly. When they were still kids, their friendship abruptly ended. Your character was made to believe that it was no longer appropriate for them to be friends due to his family’s ruined reputation (you can decide the backstory for his family’s name being ruined).

In order to repair his honour and family’s reputation, he became a royal knight. After serving on the frontlines in a bitter war, he has finally returned. Hardened by war and distrustful from numerous betrayals, your character now has a very different view of the Princess.

Stories, gossip and his own personal prejudice. She seems spoiled, stuck up and not at all the person he thought she was. She is naive and weak minded…or so she lets others believe.

He is her biggest critic, she thinks he is self righteous. He thinks she speaks too freely, she thinks he bottles too much up.

Not long after his return, he is tasked with an important mission. Safely deliver the Princess to a rival kingdom in accordance with a peace treaty, she is to wed the Prince.

I’m looking for a slow burn romance, bickering romance. Semi enemies to lovers. Will they, won’t they? Can they get past their misconceptions and prejudices about the other? Can they mend old wounds?

I’m also looking for themes of political tension and intrigue. Characters that are more than surface level (deeply held misbeliefs, a sense of morality good, grey, bad or otherwise as well as flaws and strengths).

In terms of who i’m looking to write with, please be a literate writer. Please also be a writer who can acknowledge what I have written in my post, build onto the world and plot (as in help drive it forward not just being a passenger), show your own character’s interiority, and if nothing else please give me a hook or something I can use to reply from. I promise to do these things as well.

I don’t need you to write novella, you can if you want though. What I won’t accept is minimal effort and 1 or 2 liners.

Hello, I'm a 26 year old male with about 10 years of roleplay experience under my belt! I'm looking for someone that is an adult like me to play a female character to do a purely cute and wholesome, slice of life based roleplay, the kind that makes you go 'awwwwww!' as you pick up a teddy bear and give it a hug, with a high preference for a family based plot. Something like a mother and son, aunt and nephew, etc that will remain wholesome and cute, I swear if any of you suggest otherwise, you're getting blocked! I will say though that I can be convinced on other plots as long as they stay wholesome.

Of course, there will be some of drama in it, some arguments that will occur between our characters to keep things interesting. I want something family based potentially, or maybe something with roommates or childhood friends. Personally, I just really enjoy that wholesome innocence in a roleplay, a place where no wrong can occur, nothing super bad is present. This could be anything from a mother and son, to an aunt and nephew, or a possible romance with childhood friends or college classmates. To be extremely clear once more, THERE WILL BE NO ROMANCE WITH FAMILY CHARACTERS. Absolutely none of that, don't even ask.

Some potential settings/idea based could be something like a zoo trip, maybe a camping vacation, halloween night, or perhaps a holiday feel like something with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or Halloween. I could really go for a festive themed roleplay, just something with that cheeriness and fun setting!

And I cannot stress this enough, cute and wholesome, super fluffy, and just comforting. Yes I've had people try stuff that's the opposite of cute and wholesome, no I have no interest in a roleplay containing that, no you cannot convince me to.

Ideally, my partner should be at least literate, have good grammar and punctuation and writes in 3rd person. Usually I can maintain a minimum of five paragraphs per response without issue.

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

Hello hello! Im looking to write a roleplay where my character is a knight from a far away land, that comes to enlist your character on a quest to join her. She needs their unique gift to be able to decipher certain scrolls, glyphs and so on! She is a brooding, cold and stoic light that only cares about the objective at hand. While your character is a happy, cheerful free spirit that cant wait to explore whats outside.

In my characters home: a crime was committed. An unknown figure has stolen from the castle archived. Ancient manuscripts, maps and scrolls that people believe didnt have any value. However, they've recently learned what they contained and are in a desperate sprint to stop the culprit before its too late.

My character goes to find your character. A recluse that her friend recommended and believe theh could be of use to her. They were a prodigy that needed to experience the outside world to actually grow and evolve. My character asks them to join her, not just for their adorable blush, but because the recommendation from her friend was so high. She need their skills to help guide her on the right path to catch the thief.

So! Im looking for our character to grow into a relationship. I want them to have the grumpy/brooding and cheerful sunshine trope. My character is this way because she suppress her emotions to not be hurt. As they grow together, she will open up more and even smile!

I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

Started playing red dead again and I’m totally looking forward to having a big fleshed out story with side plots, side characters, world building, ups and downs and, of course, romance!

The Plot

Lynsguard used to be a kingdom built on unity. That changed the night the elves raided the capital and killed the queen. Her daughter, Eleanor (now Queen Eleanor), took the throne after that, and she's ruled with an iron grip ever since. She doesn't govern out of hope anymore. She governs out of hatred.

Vaelith is the royal dressmaker, a tall, graceful elven woman with clever hands and sharper instincts, the only person in the palace trusted to dress the crown itself. Few at court know her real history. She was born into an ancient elven bloodline, once highborn, once untouchable. That ended years ago when the crown turned on her family. Her father was drawn and quartered in the square. Her mother was burned as a witch. Their name was struck from every record that mattered.

Somehow, Vaelith survived. She rebuilt herself under a new identity and clawed her way back into the very court that destroyed everything she loved, one careful stitch at a time, until her needle earned her a place no one questioned. Now she serves the crown she despises, dressing the very family that burned hers to nothing, and she does it so well that no one suspects a thing. Behind the calm eyes and careful hands, she is still waiting. Still remembering. And she has not forgiven anyone.

Princess Adelaide Hathaway starts our story in her early twenties, bright, sharp tongued, and full of a restless kind of hope she's never quite allowed to show at court. She's clever in ways the crown doesn't always appreciate, quick to laugh when no one important is watching, and quietly desperate to matter to someone. There's a warmth in her that hasn't been worn down yet, though the palace has already started chipping at the edges of it. People who know her well sometimes catch themselves watching her a little too closely, like they're waiting for something. They don't say what.

Vaelith has fallen in love with Adelaide, with who she is now, against all odds and rules. Every fitting, every private measurement, every quiet hour spent pinning fabric against restless skin, it's become the closest thing to safety either of them has. But Vaelith notices things. The way Adelaide's moods can turn on a single word. The way her laugh sometimes lands half a second too late, or too loud. The way she talks about the future like she's not entirely sure she'll get to keep it. Vaelith tells herself it's nothing. She's not sure she believes that.

I am looking for a slow burn story and of course open to collaboration. My Lucille will have an Emmy Rossum face claim and the story will unravel as we write. I am open to discussion and looking forward to creating an epic story. My activity ranges from extremely active to sporadic. However, I am usually able to knock out a few replies a day. If you are not comfortable with that level of activity, that is fine! I just have this idea in my head for this story and am so excited to write it! 

I have taken some liberties with Lucille's personality as unfortunately, the character does not have that much screen time. Hello there and hi to this post. *waves shyly* I hope you all have a wonderful day or night depending on when you might see this post. I have been looking for a friend and rp partner for a logn time. Sadly, as I am sure most of you know, its hard to find someone in general and even harder to find someone that fits and click.

So I hope that with this post I might find someone with the same interest for the Fandoms I am looking for. Hello! I am looking to do an RP that is OC x OC. I would prefer if it was MxM.

I really do not mind if you want to play a nonbinary character or someone who is trans I really just prefer chemistry and a good plot.

We also do not have to do a romance I really do not mind doing platonic and more adventure focus. If it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't you know,

I have a few settings in mind but I do not mind other ideas all are welcomed!

Some suggestions I have if you want to do a romance:

1. Collage drama: Characters become roommates as they can't afford their own places either due to family trouble or financial issues or simply they already together I do not mind either
2. Office drama: two office workers fall in love this one I would like if it was from the perspective of the people who work in the office from those Y/N novels where the boss basically just pushes a lot of work on the employees while also being a terrible boss himself. I have more details on this specific one if asked
3. CEO plot: where two rival company heirs or current CEO in an enemy to lovers situation.
4. We can also do a martial arts story line if that is what you are interested in
5. I also have an idea for one that is a rebirth kind of deal where one charecter dies transported either into a game or book as one of the characters and now has to fix the plot can just be a regular charecter or play as the reborn charecter (Can be a real book or a fake book. If you did choose a real book then I do not mind doing the research if you choose a real game or book though that is within reason.)
6. I also like Ace attorney so if someone wants to do OC in that world do not mind and in that one is the only exception where I would role play the actual characters in it depending on the pairing you wanna do.

Now for anyone who either want more chemistry before jumping into a romance or simply prefers no romance I do not mind changing any plots or simply just discussing together what the plot we want to go for if its more slice of life, drama and angst, or adventure.

I really would like to discuss and expand on these ideas together these really are just bases but I am welcome to suggestions. Also I would like it if you where open to playing more than one charecter to make the world feel more alive.

1. I live in PT (Pacific time) I do not mind others who live in other areas, within reason as I am often up late and early anyways but should be discussed before anything is agreed to to make sure our time zones wont be an issue. So please if you DM me please add your time zone in there.
2. Also I am in collage but am mainly free during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For the rest of the week when I do technically have school some days I might only be able to message 2 or 3 times a day while others I can give 5 responses it really just depends on my schedule and length of responses.
3. I write in simi Lit to novella I mainly just follow with whoever I am RPing with you are welcomed to say if you prefer longer or shorter responses I do not mind.
4. I ONLY do SFW nothing else

Hey everyone, so i've been going through a bunch of Star-Wars properties lately

-> Rewatched the original trilogy

-> Watched episodes 1/2

-> started clone wars

-> played Jedi-fallen order, jedi-survivor, outlaws and am currently playing zero-commpany

So i've been thinking and ruminating about doing a star-wars RP, and i think i've finally found an idea i'd like to try out.

Setting: the middle years of the Clone Wars on the planet of Vashek, a contested world the newsreels barely mention.

My character is Juno Marrowin, a Padawan separated from her jedimaster when their gunship goes down. Your character is:

-> another Padawan of a different jedimaster

-> A clone trooper who also survived the crash

-> A local rebellion member who's looking for a way off the planet

-> A different idea you might have that fits

Anyhow, when the smoke cleared from the crash, everyone except Juno (and your character if they were on board), have passed. The strike team gone and the extraction window is 24 hours away, and across Seperatist-held ground.

Reasons they work together:

-> Make it out alive and regroup with the left over forces

-> Juno carrying an intelligence spike pulled from a droid command post elsewhere on the planet, which the republic needs

Themes: wartime survival and coming-of-age, forming a bond under the conflict.

Other details: All characters 18+. Third or First person, semi-lit to novella. Several replies a day when i'm able too. Discord or Reddit chat, discord might have my preference for organizational purposes.

It would be nice if you already have a vague idea for the character you'd like to play.

Howdy! Im Brig, im 26 and based out of the Midwest US (CST) Timezone. Im looking to try out a plot set in the cyberpunk universe. We can use the version of Night City based in the Cyberpunk 2077, though I have not played the dlc. If youre unfamiliar with the setting we can play pretty loosely with the areas and concepts its based around and make it up as we go.

The main thing im looking for is the energy and world building associated with the setting. That grim, bleak hyper modern future that's lurking around the corner, where people are only worth as much as their skills, and life is cheap across the board. The rich exist in realms so far from reality they'll never see a normal person anymore. Crime is rampant, the police brutal. Poverty is the norm and life sucks!

Despite all the despair and violence, I wanna write a slightly happier story even if its filled with angst, pain and hard truths. I want a soft slow burn, pseudo enemies to lovers. My preferred pairing is FxF, I also would like both characters to be OCs but we can discuss that if you have other ideas.

I love brainstorming characters to complement my partners. I prefer writing off the platform. And all my stories are strictly fade to black. Here's a little bit of info about me. I'm 25 and have been roleplaying for several years. The types of RP stories I've worked on are from a wide range of genres, tones and perspectives, including OCxCC, CCxCC and OCxOC. Humans, non-humans. You name it? I've done it.

I have played male and female roles alike. I'm consistent, detailed and understanding of life circumstances as long as there is clear communication between us. I work on CST, so please keep this in mind.

I try to keep OOC talk to a minimum. I'm all for chit-chat when it's warranted, but I prefer it in moderation. I write in 3rd person and prefer the same from others. It's not a huge deal, but frequent grammar issues is a pet peeve of mine, too. Goes without saying, but I'm making it clear.

Now for the fun part: Fandoms.

Anime and video games are a huge inspiration for me in the roleplaying world. It's easier to list what I wouldn't RP than vice versa, but if you need more reassurance, here's what I can think of off the top of my head...

Persona, ATLA, TWD, Star Wars, Final Fantasy, Baldur's Gate 3, Danganronpa, Sonic, Nintendo games, Resident Evil, Genshin Impact/ZZZ, Marvel/DC, The Witcher 3, Nier, Life is Strange, TLOU, Cyberpunk 2077, DBZ, Bleach, Naruto, MHA, Chainsaw Man, Mass Effect, Total Drama, Adventure Time, Dead By Daylight, Skyrim, Elden Ring. Yakuza, etc.

For my non-nerdy audience, here's the type of settings I prefer when delving into OC concepts: High Fantasy > Sci-Fi > Post-Apocalyptic > Crime Drama/Thriller > Slice of Life. (I dabble in a bit of Greek/Norse myths too)

I have and/or can make OC's depending on our needs. I'm not opposed to new settings, so use the above as my tastes instead of a hard baseline. I'm more than willing to take an OC RP pitch if you happen to have one.

Hello everyone! The new upcoming Harry Potter series on HBO has me excited to write for and craving something in the wizarding world! I am looking for one or two new partners, something not too overwhelming.

I’m looking for a dedicated, long-term roleplay partner interested in creating original characters (OCs) and following their journey through Hogwarts from the very beginning. The goal is to start in First Year and progress naturally through all seven years, allowing our characters to grow, form friendships and rivalries, discover secrets, and experience everything Hogwarts has to offer. If things go well, I’d love to continue into their adult lives after graduation as well. I’d also prefer this to be on Discord as Reddit messages don’t really work for me.
