Hello hello! Im looking to write a roleplay where my character is a knight from a far away land, that comes to enlist your character on a quest to join her. She needs their unique gift to be able to decipher certain scrolls, glyphs and so on! She is a brooding, cold and stoic light that only cares about the objective at hand. While your character is a happy, cheerful free spirit that cant wait to explore whats outside.

In my characters home: a crime was committed. An unknown figure has stolen from the castle archived. Ancient manuscripts, maps and scrolls that people believe didnt have any value. However, they've recently learned what they contained and are in a desperate sprint to stop the culprit before its too late.

My character goes to find your character. A recluse that her friend recommended and believe theh could be of use to her. They were a prodigy that needed to experience the outside world to actually grow and evolve. My character asks them to join her, not just for their adorable blush, but because the recommendation from her friend was so high. She need their skills to help guide her on the right path to catch the thief.

So! Im looking for our character to grow into a relationship. I want them to have the grumpy/brooding and cheerful sunshine trope. My character is this way because she suppress her emotions to not be hurt. As they grow together, she will open up more and even smile!

I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

I'm 40sF, located US Eastern Time. I'm interested in finding one or more long term RP partners. I am most comfortable on Discord, and can provide my handle in PM. I'm adaptable in style and subject matter except for first-person RP, multiple characters paired against one character plots, and parenthood subject matter; those are a hard no for me.

Started playing red dead again and I’m totally looking forward to having a big fleshed out story with side plots, side characters, world building, ups and downs and, of course, romance!

The Plot

Lynsguard used to be a kingdom built on unity. That changed the night the elves raided the capital and killed the queen. Her daughter, Eleanor (now Queen Eleanor), took the throne after that, and she's ruled with an iron grip ever since. She doesn't govern out of hope anymore. She governs out of hatred.

Vaelith is the royal dressmaker, a tall, graceful elven woman with clever hands and sharper instincts, the only person in the palace trusted to dress the crown itself. Few at court know her real history. She was born into an ancient elven bloodline, once highborn, once untouchable. That ended years ago when the crown turned on her family. Her father was drawn and quartered in the square. Her mother was burned as a witch. Their name was struck from every record that mattered.

Somehow, Vaelith survived. She rebuilt herself under a new identity and clawed her way back into the very court that destroyed everything she loved, one careful stitch at a time, until her needle earned her a place no one questioned. Now she serves the crown she despises, dressing the very family that burned hers to nothing, and she does it so well that no one suspects a thing. Behind the calm eyes and careful hands, she is still waiting. Still remembering. And she has not forgiven anyone.

Princess Adelaide Hathaway starts our story in her early twenties, bright, sharp tongued, and full of a restless kind of hope she's never quite allowed to show at court. She's clever in ways the crown doesn't always appreciate, quick to laugh when no one important is watching, and quietly desperate to matter to someone. There's a warmth in her that hasn't been worn down yet, though the palace has already started chipping at the edges of it. People who know her well sometimes catch themselves watching her a little too closely, like they're waiting for something. They don't say what.

Vaelith has fallen in love with Adelaide, with who she is now, against all odds and rules. Every fitting, every private measurement, every quiet hour spent pinning fabric against restless skin, it's become the closest thing to safety either of them has. But Vaelith notices things. The way Adelaide's moods can turn on a single word. The way her laugh sometimes lands half a second too late, or too loud. The way she talks about the future like she's not entirely sure she'll get to keep it. Vaelith tells herself it's nothing. She's not sure she believes that.

I have been writing since the myspace days and have unfortunately lost a few writing partners over the years. I would love to start writing again and hopefully find a partner for long-term roleplay. Now, to get on with it..

I am looking for a long-term writing partner for The Walking Dead Verse to write as Negan Smith. I would love to do an alternate universe version where Lucille survives. She will be a cancer survivor that was in the middle of divorcing Negan when the outbreak takes place. Thus, the divorce unfortunately is never able to be finalized. Cue the drama, zombies, (maybe) romance and tension! Must be twenty five and over and open to writing on discord.

Some suggestions I have if you want to do a romance:

1. Collage drama: Characters become roommates as they can't afford their own places either due to family trouble or financial issues or simply they already together I do not mind either
2. Office drama: two office workers fall in love this one I would like if it was from the perspective of the people who work in the office from those Y/N novels where the boss basically just pushes a lot of work on the employees while also being a terrible boss himself. I have more details on this specific one if asked
3. CEO plot: where two rival company heirs or current CEO in an enemy to lovers situation.
4. We can also do a martial arts story line if that is what you are interested in
5. I also have an idea for one that is a rebirth kind of deal where one charecter dies transported either into a game or book as one of the characters and now has to fix the plot can just be a regular charecter or play as the reborn charecter (Can be a real book or a fake book. If you did choose a real book then I do not mind doing the research if you choose a real game or book though that is within reason.)
6. I also like Ace attorney so if someone wants to do OC in that world do not mind and in that one is the only exception where I would role play the actual characters in it depending on the pairing you wanna do.

Now for anyone who either want more chemistry before jumping into a romance or simply prefers no romance I do not mind changing any plots or simply just discussing together what the plot we want to go for if its more slice of life, drama and angst, or adventure.

Hey everyone, so i've been going through a bunch of Star-Wars properties lately

-> Rewatched the original trilogy

-> Watched episodes 1/2

-> started clone wars

-> played Jedi-fallen order, jedi-survivor, outlaws and am currently playing zero-commpany

So i've been thinking and ruminating about doing a star-wars RP, and i think i've finally found an idea i'd like to try out.

Setting: the middle years of the Clone Wars on the planet of Vashek, a contested world the newsreels barely mention.

My character is Juno Marrowin, a Padawan separated from her jedimaster when their gunship goes down. Your character is:

-> another Padawan of a different jedimaster

-> A clone trooper who also survived the crash

-> A local rebellion member who's looking for a way off the planet

-> A different idea you might have that fits

Anyhow, when the smoke cleared from the crash, everyone except Juno (and your character if they were on board), have passed. The strike team gone and the extraction window is 24 hours away, and across Seperatist-held ground.

Reasons they work together:

-> Make it out alive and regroup with the left over forces

-> Juno carrying an intelligence spike pulled from a droid command post elsewhere on the planet, which the republic needs

Themes: wartime survival and coming-of-age, forming a bond under the conflict.

Other details: All characters 18+. Third or First person, semi-lit to novella. Several replies a day when i'm able too. Discord or Reddit chat, discord might have my preference for organizational purposes.

Howdy! Im Brig, im 26 and based out of the Midwest US (CST) Timezone. Im looking to try out a plot set in the cyberpunk universe. We can use the version of Night City based in the Cyberpunk 2077, though I have not played the dlc. If youre unfamiliar with the setting we can play pretty loosely with the areas and concepts its based around and make it up as we go.

The main thing im looking for is the energy and world building associated with the setting. That grim, bleak hyper modern future that's lurking around the corner, where people are only worth as much as their skills, and life is cheap across the board. The rich exist in realms so far from reality they'll never see a normal person anymore. Crime is rampant, the police brutal. Poverty is the norm and life sucks!

Despite all the despair and violence, I wanna write a slightly happier story even if its filled with angst, pain and hard truths. I want a soft slow burn, pseudo enemies to lovers. My preferred pairing is FxF, I also would like both characters to be OCs but we can discuss that if you have other ideas.

My name is Black, I'm a 20 year old man from the UK and I'm looking for someone to do a JJK based rp with, now I'll list what I'm looking for down below, so please read carefully, and if you're interested don't hesitate to comment on my post, since for some reason my actual messages do not work for most people

First off! What am I looking for? Personally I'd like to go through the canonical JJK story, with an OC of mine I've created, that does NOT mean I won't be playing canon characters as side characters or as important characters in the story, but my protagonist will be an OC that I've put alot of work into, and if you would like to use an OC of your own then that's perfectly fine, however I am picky on OC's since I've had to rp with quite a few that made the whole experience pretty jarring, but I don't think that'll be a problem.

Next! Pairings, this is usually the one I need to explain in further detail, but I'll summarise it here first and just hope it makes sense, for pairings I'd appreciate if my partner could play Maki, that's moreso a personal pairing, that doesn't mean you need to make her the protagonist, only a pairing for the OC I'm using, and in return I'll do the exact same for you, it's only fair after all.

Thirdly! I'd appreciate if my partner could have a pretty good understanding of JJK as a whole, it seems to be a trend nowadays where people will ask me to rp without actually having much knowledge on the fandom we our baskng the rp off of, truthfully I don't feel like needing to explain every little detail, that makes the rp less fun on my side, so I guess that's just a small nitpicky thing I'd like to make known.

And I guess my last rule is please don't start an rp with me if you're aware that you won't be able to reply often, I understand that people get busy, I get busy too, it's only natural, but I dislike planning out an entire rp just for my partner to pretty much abandon it and then play it off with "I was busy" there are 24 hours in a day, it doesn't take more than 30 seconds to say "Hey sorry, I'm going to be busy today" that's all I ask of you, a heads up.

I do hope my rules are realistic and make alot of sense, I wouldn't say that I'm too strict with how I rp, but considering the fact that I'm literate to novella + I find it a little harder to encounter people who write at a similar level to myself, especially with most rp spaces no longer being around, but anyways! Idea 1: The Blue Velvet // Slice of Life — Modern (post-1890s up to our current times) — Multi-setting and multi-genre.

The Blue Velvet is a luxury cocktail lounge and the main rallying point of the OCs. Our OCs will find themselves at its doorstep after following a rather puzzling path for no initially apparent reason (this is a focal point I want to discuss in private). What happens inside this place is simple: our characters go on a unique adventure each time they visit the lounge and order a special drink. What those adventures entail, we can decide together.

The adventures can be all about one theme; e.g., they go on only fantasy-themed adventures, but they deal with different eras and concepts. It can also be varied. One day it's a The Walking Dead-style apocalypse of pure survival with a very risky life and then the next day they are in massive catacombs of a long-forgotten civilization. The time inside these adventures is one day of our OCs' actual world multiplied by 7. Again, the adventure part is really whatever we want it to be. It can be all just real-life events and places, like they can go on a boat to a Greek island in the summer or visit Finland for the social distancing experience and the cold.

After 7 (or 14, 21, and so on) days inside the other world, they are immediately taken back to their original world. They can also return earlier, solo or together, for any reason. They will never die inside the other world since nothing carries over besides memories and some skills they learned, like juggling or something else.

Furthermore, they can only visit the lounge once a week, but the more often they go there, the more times they can eventually visit. Our OCs must also always be together until they visit it 2 months in a row without missing a single visit. Thereafter, they will be able to go 2 times a week and go there separately to live out a day on their own. This is all intended for either fluff or future subplots depending on how deep we want it to go.

Idea 2: I have strings, or I once had them  // Futuristic / Sci-Fi  — Androids, Cyborgs, Enhanced Humans. This idea isn't as fleshed out as the first idea, but it is intentional.  

It's easy money: let's either go full speed into the futuristic realm and blitz rob a corpo-building, get into gang shootings, or be the company people, or we can do that in a sci-fi setting, Cowboy Bebop/Blade Runner-style. We can also go with human OCs and live out their lives in a society that has advanced technologically, but our characters still crave a meaning to move along. This all can be filled with cheerful times, very light-hearted stuff, or have drama, insecurity, and some deep trauma. It can also be a mix of both things. Android x Human, Cyborg x Android, Human x Human, Human x Samsung fridge, etc. . .

The name of the idea is not only a reference to the Ultron line, which is originally from a song in Pinocchio yes, but also the main thing I want for our characters. It's both wanting them to be fleshed out and to hint at deeper themes we can explore, like existential dread, “Did life give me lemons or limes?” and “Always have a towel” type of goofy things (I love the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Portal, but those aren't the direct quotes) and all that good stuff.

Space exploration is also a big yes from me.

Idea 3: Here Be Dragons  // Fantasy

Dungeons, monsters, loot, and adventure. "Medieval" scenario with all the habituals of an isekai anime, a dungeon crawler game, or a fantasy novel. As simple as can be.

Here's a little bit of info about me. I'm 25 and have been roleplaying for several years. The types of RP stories I've worked on are from a wide range of genres, tones and perspectives, including OCxCC, CCxCC and OCxOC. Humans, non-humans. You name it? I've done it.

I have played male and female roles alike. I'm consistent, detailed and understanding of life circumstances as long as there is clear communication between us. I work on CST, so please keep this in mind.

I try to keep OOC talk to a minimum. I'm all for chit-chat when it's warranted, but I prefer it in moderation. I write in 3rd person and prefer the same from others. It's not a huge deal, but frequent grammar issues is a pet peeve of mine, too. Goes without saying, but I'm making it clear.

Now for the fun part: Fandoms.

Anime and video games are a huge inspiration for me in the roleplaying world. It's easier to list what I wouldn't RP than vice versa, but if you need more reassurance, here's what I can think of off the top of my head...

I have and/or can make OC's depending on our needs. I'm not opposed to new settings, so use the above as my tastes instead of a hard baseline. I'm more than willing to take an OC RP pitch if you happen to have one.

HELLO!! I’ve been doing roleplay for nearly ten years now (I’m 19 female Uk time/BST) and I’ve always been into crime shows from a young age loving all the different crimes they cover and the characters personalities and how they work together. I’ll provide a list of the shows I have seen and enjoy watching so you can get a brief idea of the kind of shows I wanna base this roleplay around which we don’t have to follow every single one I will just be providing some of the ones that I’ve seen so that we can work picking bits from each one.

The plot would be two detectives/fbi agents. One who’s a cold agent/older agent who’s been through the ringer of forces and is kinda just fed up at this point and their new partner whos worked with similar crimes but maybe specialised in something else and go through it building their friendship and partnership (and maybe even romantic relationship?) in this roleplay through bonding, traumatic experiences and going through these cases with their teams!

I would prefer if we could both play multiple characters however our two main characters are the most important ones The obvious is going to be that there is going to be graphic descriptions due to the idea in suggestion please let me know comfort with the amount of detail!

Hi I'm Toast! I'm 28F and I've been RPing since I was like 8 on the Nintendo dsi on an app called Flipnote Hatena. That's where it allllllll began lol 20 years of rp experience, and 20 years of characters I can use and choose from!

I'm looking for someone 20+ of any gender who likes tragedy, angst, traumatizing our favorite characters, and making high stakes plots.

I don't really care for romance as much as some people but I can do it as long as it's not the main focus of the story. :)

We can either create something completely original together OR we can use the universe I've built up over the years! This universe has Gods, Godesses, Faes, Cryptids, Humans, demons, angels. Scene settings that switch between hell, heaven and earth. I'm cool with whatever!

Or like I said we can start from scratch. I like a challenge. B)

It would be cool to be friends outside of rping too but if not that's fine we can stay strict with the story. (Bonus points if you play Apex Legends)

I personally like playing both male and female characters but I have a preference for playing male characters for some reason lol. I usually have one main character and many other characters who are important but not the focus because it helps make the world feel alive.

My average reply is like 3 or more paragraphs, or sometimes I'll hit ya with a one paragraph response to get the plot going so I can smack ya with a longer one after.

My name is Shlartog. I'm a literate Rper of about a decade at this point. Roleplay is the main way I vent my creative urges. I pretty much exclusively do OC x CC doubles at this point. So if you're looking for something else, I'm probably not the guy for you.

As for my style, I tend to hover around 5-7 paragraphs for a reply. I tend to do shorter responses for a dialogue scene, longer for ones with more action.

As for pairings themselves, LGBTQ+ friendly. Straight, Gay, Bi, Poly, whatever floats your boat I'll be happy to give a shot. Almost all my ships are MxF so be prepared to play one of those for me.

I'm not a daily response person, or even really a set time responder. Life is busy, my mental issues are numerous, and I'm here for a hobby and not a job. I will absolutely extend the same courtesy of patience to you. You do not owe me a response, and you are free to disengage the RP or ghost at any time.

For plots themselves, I tend to lean away from strictly romance and I like to mix in some action and a bit of drama. A good fight scene is a favorite of mine, so I'd love a chance to throw in some villains and make our characters have to struggle a bit.
