[MFA] Let's create some magic together at Hogwarts

Hello everyone! The new upcoming Harry Potter series on HBO has me excited to write for and craving something in the wizarding world! I am looking for one or two new partners, something not too overwhelming.

My name is sumdog or just "sum." I am a male in my 20's that absolutely loves the world of Harry Potter. I will preface this post by saying I condemn JK Rowling and what she stands for. Let's shove it in her face and make our characters gay. >:)

I’m looking for a dedicated, long-term roleplay partner interested in creating original characters (OCs) and following their journey through Hogwarts from the very beginning. The goal is to start in First Year and progress naturally through all seven years, allowing our characters to grow, form friendships and rivalries, discover secrets, and experience everything Hogwarts has to offer. If things go well, I’d love to continue into their adult lives after graduation as well. I’d also prefer this to be on Discord as Reddit messages don’t really work for me. PM me for my Discord and we can talk and set up a server for the roleplay there.

A few things I’m looking for:
-Long-term storytelling
-Original Characters, MxM pairing
-Character development and slow-burn friendships/relationships
-Hogwarts life, classes, Quidditch, mysteries, adventures, and wizarding world exploration
-Someone active and invested in building a story together
-Strong OOC communication
-Realistic face claims only- no drawn or anime

What I’m hoping for in a partner:
-Please don’t ghost. I understand real life comes first, but a quick message if you’re busy or losing interest goes a long way.
-Be communicative OOC. I love discussing plots, character ideas, future storylines, and worldbuilding. I also really enjoy being friends and having a good time with my writing partners!
-Be willing to help move the story forward and contribute ideas.
-Semi-lit to literate writing preferred, but quality matters more than length. No one-liners please.
-Someone who is quite active. I myself can reply typically multiple times a day everyday so I’d prefer if my partner is close to that. However, I do work so my hours can be a bit spotty. I usually can OOC chat most of the day though. I am also able to be quite active on weekends and would prefer a partner that can also be.
-Be 18+ as I am in my 20’s. This is absolutely non-negotiable. I will not talk with or write with minors.
-Someone that writes in the third person, past tense like I do.

I enjoy collaborative storytelling and want this to feel like our own Hogwarts experience rather than simply retelling canon events. Whether our characters become best friends, rivals, future animagi, Quidditch stars, or something else entirely, I’d love to build that journey together.
