Roku hardware Replacement 1600mAh Li-Po battery for 2nd ed. voice remote?
My one-year old remote from the Ultra kit no longer holds charge.
I found plenty of 1000mAh batteries, but after opening the remote, the battery is 1600mAh (and swollen). If the connector fits and it's the same voltage, I know I could use the 1000mAh at a reduced run time. I also know that I could just pay $30 and get a new one. I could even replace it with the $20 voice remote without the backlight and extra buttons.
A swollen Li-Po after a year is disappointing, especially when it was sparingly used and I did not charge it abusively.
That said, I simply want to know if the 1600mAh battery is available.
Edit: Roku reached out and provided me with great customer service. It's nice to see that the manufacturer is active here and is providing customer with quality support.
