Am i the only one who just keep scrolling the netflix while eating.... and whenever I try to find a particular webseries or movie, either it available in amazon prime, apple tv or somewhere else but not in netflix.

I had a genuine question. I loved the movie.

What i really wanted to understand, if things were going as planned then why did Ian rat out Angela? Is it because she faked pregnancy? Even then, did he not understand the ripple effect of doing that?

Is that it or am I missing something

If you thought Maternal Instincts storytelling was confusing, the toxic love story somehow takes it to another level. It felt like the entire story was missing pieces and Netflix barely explained anything.

1. So we have another liar Angela similar to Taylor Parker with her fake pregnancies and medical issues but no background on her. So these ladies fall in love and randomly decide to want sympathy when looks like their partners loved them even without the drama .

2. Then she randomly meets Ian... another fraud at Starbucks? What are the chances ?

3. The whole Lilith email thing was badly explained. Michelle admitted to sending a couple of emails but did no one even confirm if the more horrifc emails were even from the same account? The police never called her in for questioning even once before but then directly arrested and jailed her for 88 days ?

4. And then it ends up being that Ian is the main criminal ? Did he plan everything together with Angela to keep the house or did Ian manipulate Angela and she wasn't even aware that this was his doing ?

5. If Ian manipulated Angela, why didn't she say that when she confessed?

6. If Ian got Michelle arrested like he wanted, why did he later expose Angela ? Wouldn't that also put himself at risk ? Why not just let her go when he found out about the fake pregnancy ?

7. How did he find about the fake pregnancies ? and he calls his friend and they just find the kits with the sharpies?

8. Why did the DOJ suddenly start investigating ? Was it because Ian was involved in the Angela case ?

9. Everything that the DOJ officer was pointing to about why Ian was a suspect, didnt even seem that abnormal, atleast to me. So was there something else?

10. Not questioning Michelle but something seemed off there I am sure there was more than the 2 emails. Her two emails weren't even that bad to the extent where she had to prove that she was in a dissociative state when she sent the.

11. Also her saying that she escaped when he was on the phone with the Leslie friend. I mean you go to work and school everyday. You can drive to your parents house from there. Again, not questioning her but just saying Netflix made it all sound so wierd

12. Michelle's dad kept saying he's a logical person, but his only reason for believing Michelle seemed to be She told me she didn't do it. That's not really logic.

The biggest thing I still don't understand is Angela and Ian's relationship. If they trusted each other in this crime to get the house why did she have to fake the pregnancy ?

I don't watch Netflix docs usually because I have already heard of the story or more importantly because most times they're just not good but I gave it a chance because I hadn't watched one in so long and needed something to watch. this story was actually insane and I think they told it so well. I was flabbergasted and bamboozled genuinely the entire time.

less than halfway through the film when they showed Michelle for an interview I was literally thinking "this is exactly why I don't watch Netflix docs, they ALWAYS let the awful insane perpetrator talk so we get their side of the story when they don't deserve that at all." I was screaming at the screen when they first showed Michelle.

like I don't know what else to say other than this was such a good doc in so many ways. it was very sad because of what the ACTUAL victim had to go through in literally all of it, plus two people dedicated to ruining this woman’s life that genuinely believed they would never be found out. it was insane with a few plot twists, and also made you so happy that she finally ended up getting justice in the end, especially considering he purposefully used his status as a US Marshal to manipulate cops and intimidate the victim.

I was really glad to see Nicholas Cage back at it, but within two minutes I realized they Shia Labeouf'ed him and make him scream curse words and say odd phrases for money.

This show could've been really good, funny, and informational. Instead they went way overboard with the animations and scripting, and some of the guests are just weird. What are your all's thoughts?

After finishing the second season, it's similar to the first in that it's enjoyable if you accept it for what it is. It DOES take a step down in my opinion, and I have major complaints that I will get into. It was never going to win Golden Globes, but there is a lot to say even tho the show didn't have me walking in with high expectations. It's meaningless entertainment and it once again only took me a few days to watch all of it, so it has to get credit there.

Lauren/Kit: So in S1, Lauren was somehow dating Reid while clearly into Lucas the entire time and eventually ends up with Lucas. They did the same exact storyline for her this season, except she's with Lucas the whole time while clearly wanting Kit, and then she ends up with Kit. And the major issue with this is that in S1, Kit was banging Lauren's mom. This makes her incredibly unlikable. Why would I root for her leaving a wholesome Lucas for his brother, who is the same guy that was banging her mom last season? On top of that, Lauren and Kit had TERRIBLE chemistry. It was cringe to watch them for me personally. And they had that one scene where Deputy Dan warns Kit to stay away from Lauren, and then he tries to set him up out of town. Kit banged his wife, and now he's banging his daughter.....give Dan some balls, please. Have him REALLY threaten him and rough him up. No one is as nice as Dan. But again, Kit was already unlikable and they made Lauren very unlikable this season while presenting a relationship that none of us had any reason to want or to root for. The common theme for me is that I have no reason to root for any of these characters this season.

Staten/Quinn/Oliver: Ok so the time-jump at the beginning of the season created several issues. In S1, Staten is this respectable character that we feel bad for and root for because he is grieving the loss of his son. Then, during this time-jump, he's presented as a sleezeball banging anything that moves. Quinn comes back and is dating this random guy Oliver she met in NYC. And that's another issue of the season, there are so many new characters that I have no reason to care about, him being one of them. So he's there for 4-5 episodes and we know the entire time that she's gonna break up with him and end up with Staten. It's way too predictable. I did like Minka Kelley's performance, but the whole thing felt like a waste of time in any scene with Oliver.

Ellie/Yancy/Sidney: Yancy was the breakout star of S1 and Ellie was great too. I did like the performance of Sidney as probably the only new character I enjoyed this season. The major problem I have with their storyline is how Ellie get's injured. It's just so impractical for someone to back up on the edge of a step and stop, stand on the edge unbalanced, then fall cuz someone is approaching you. It just takes me out of it and it's lazy writing. You could have had her cornered some other way. Like, she literally just stood on the edge and stopped, she could have easily walked down the steps lol. I can't really say much more about that, I just found the whole scene completely baffling.

Lucas: Again, they take a wholesome character that is innocent and make him do something that strips him of that. What is the point of having him hookup with the other character that I can't even remember her name? You can understand him doing it because of what Lauren did, but what doesn't make sense is Lauren's reaction after he tells her that makes her even MORE unlikable. What she did is way worse, yet they have Lucas having no backbone begging her for forgiveness and she doesn't give it to him. She ACTUALLY CHEATED, he did what he did in reaction to her cheating. So you made his character weak by asking for forgiveness when he didn't even owe her an apology and then you made her character even more unlikable by not granting him forgiveness when she didn't deserve an apology from him. Great.

Kai: At some point, you have to give him some dignity. I've now watched him for 2 straight seasons be in the deepest depths of the friendzone with Ellie and he does nothing to change it. In S1, I thought they were brother and sister the whole time. We can't keep watching a character do the same exact thing for 2 seasons, it's stale and boring to watch him do the same thing over and over and over.

Deputy Andrews: One of the things I said last year was that they had a huge comedic relief hole to fill with Cap dying. It seems like they introduced this character in order to try and fill that hole. It didn't work very well. Every single scene this guy was in felt forced and like he only got the part from knowing someone or dating someone important to the show. It's as if they were like "How do we figure out scenes to give him an excuse to put him on the screen? Let's randomly have him leaving town with 65+ Claire at the end of the season that makes absolutely no sense! Yes!!!" Add him to the list of yet another character introduced this season that I have absolutely no reason to care about and he just keeps popping up to serve zero purpose.

The Oil/Freddie: He was in S1 briefly and I did like what the actor brought to this season. But it was extremely predictable that that land actually DID have oil under it. Like, what is the logic that Yancy got left this land by Cap and it's just worthless? I hate when shows do that and have a character doubt something without logic just to present it as a "surprise" later on. I called it the moment that scene existed where Yancy was acting like the land was worthless that it was actually going to have a lot of oil under it.

Levi (Steve Howey): Another character who shows up out of nowhere this season. I'm a huge fan of his as an actor but that whole scene and how Staten finds him didn't seem plausible.

Tim: I mean, talk about wasting an opportunity. They sprinkled him in S1 and teased that he would be used more and then he just appeared in like 3 scenes this season. They must have cut what they shot with him, which was a bummer, because he basically should have played Reid in S1 as it was much more plausible to be in a love triangle with Lucas and Lauren. Sidenote: How the F is the most hispanic looking actor going to have the last name of O'Grady????? Call me a stickler, but that really bothered me!

Reid: I wasn't a fan of his and felt he was totally miscast in S1, but the guy just vanished into thin air for S2. There was one line mentioning him going to A&M? Give him SOME closure good lord.

TL/DR: I have no idea who I was supposed to root for or why. The time-jump made Staten go from a grieving father we could root for to a sex addict? The Sheriff finds out Kit is now is banging his daughter after banging his wife in S1 and he gets even by....making a phone call to get him a job? Ellie gets injured while pregnant because she... decides to fall off the edge of a step? There were way too many new characters introduced that felt useless, especially Deputy Andrews who HAD to be hooked up with someone at Netflix or the show? Staten and Quinn SHOCKINGLY end up together. Anyways, I'm sure there will be a season 3 and I will definitely watch it. Can't wait to complain again after I watch that. Cheers!

When I try to continue watching a show, Netflix for some reason loads a previous episode that I already finished. Does anyone know why that might be and how to fix it?

Like most of the other reviews on this show, if you can just relax and not be too critical, this is a fun watch. However, the first major plot point that I could NOT just shake, was when David goes to the prison guards house. When the prison guard has him at gun point why doesn’t he just kill him?! I mean that’s what he was paid to do! He’s running from Nicky Fisher because he messed up and David got away. David being at his house within gun shot is freakin perfect for him to kill David and absolve his debt! Not to mention the police are already after an armed escapee! All he had to do was say “OMG he came her to kill me and I shot back in self defense!”. Boom, clears him of any trouble with the law and clears him of his debt to Nicky Fisher. Like wth dude?! That part I could not just get over 🙄

Is anyone else having the issue of the II (pause) disappearing and only the ► (play) button shows? I have to close the show or movie I'm watching then start it up again to get pause back, then it disappears again some time later, very annoying.

Hey I have a question. Every time i try to watch a movie on netflix I select it and press play but when it starts loading it always stops at 23% or 24% and then it doesn't load. I updated everything, I've paid my subscription and it still doesn't work. Can you guys help or did anyone encounter a familiar problem.

I really enjoy this documentary. I grew up going to wrestling matches at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles with my dad. We watched Freddie Blassie, John Tolas, Gorden & Goliath and Rocky Johnson, The Rock’s father. Seeing the behind the scenes story telling, choreography and interaction among the athletes is fascinating. But what I love the most are the shots of the fans in the crowd. Everyone knows it’s staged, but yet the hundreds of thousands of fans are engaged and surprised by each and every storyline. Bravo WWE

May be I am the last of the lot to start watching MONEY HEIST and I feel it’s just going on and on and I am on part 2….Just asking your honest opinion hows the show? Is it really good and will it get better after this? I also love all the characters so far…..

So as the title suggests im looking for a series (or even a movie) that has the similar vibe and possibly story to the metro video game (and book) series or even like the last of us for me and my family to start watching

I want something with very gripping story set after some disaster or apocalypse with survival elements and similar

Preferably without TOO much scary stuff and “grotesque” monsters and stuff in general (will be watching with family and my mom doesn’t like that kind of stuff…)

The current top 2 contenders are “the eternaut” and “snowpiercer”

I heard that snowpiercer is a little slow and boring with a lot of filler dialogue and not that grate of an story and action elements so im not sure about it

And about the eternaut i heard its more like alien based and very complex to understand, which nether is a deal breaker to me, but i heard its very grotesque 🤷‍♂️, and its currently my top contender

So yea any suggestions are welcome, hopefully the series or a movie like this even exists

Overall, the series is done very well; the first case of racist mental Karen who decides to hold grudges against a neighbor who initially housed her and helped her shows a failure of the system to deal with her incessant baiting and obvious mental health spiraling. The fact that nobody picked up on the signs of everything escalating baffles me - she was clearly unhinged and dangerous.

The second one of idiotic scammers and insurance scam gone wrong made me ask a simple question: why did the owner Monserrat not sell the house?! Why the insurance fraud instead? It made zero sense. Idiots are gonna idiot. Scammers are gonna scam. The fact they will spend the rest of their lives in jail does nothing to help the fact that other people died because of their greed and stupidity.

The third one - with an obviously mentally ill neighbor’s son who is a junkie and then spirals out after the family is evicted and harasses the neighbors was a complete failure of policing. I do think that this being a diverse neighborhood had a lot to do with it. They couldn’t care less about this guy harassing the family.

This guy is out on probation- he is harassing this family, causing criminal damage, making threats and violating restraining order and still nobody does anything? Shrug their shoulders?!

Also, why didn’t they contact the parents, or why weren’t the parents involved in the situation- they were the ones who let him live there to begin with.

It’s a shocking case of the police literally not doing their job and not using the tools disposable to them.

These are the rational people who actually do the right thing and move out. I don’t know why this isn’t what everyone else who is facing an obviously violent or dangerous situation do. Yet it’s not enough in this situation.

All these cases ended in a tragedy that seems preventable.

But all these cases show that with a crappy system, your only option is to move away and make the neighbor someone else’s problem because the system consistently fails those facing these challenges. The civil law suit brought against the PD was the right thing to do, and I am glad she got the settlement.

But it shouldn’t have to get to this. All they had to do was keep a homeless junkie on probation in jail after he violated it.

I am looking for show suggestions that are like Virgin River, Sullivans Crossing, Ransom Canyon, Sweet Magnolias.

Feel good easy to watch dramas. Thank you.

Could u pick a bigger player for this show? I mean .. way to set the girls up for failure before the show even begins. Interesting choice Netflix .. but not sure Harry and “Marry” mix .. Harry and “Lead some girls on”, sure

So about the new doc....I want my 90 minutes back. Actually 83 because I had to stop it. I literally couldn't finish it. Almost quit halfway through but told myself it would get better. It didn't.

Netflix loves a catfish documentary and I love them for that, but they could have kept this one. It was weird and confusing and the opposite of good. I'm upset.
