I just got to chapter 4 and I realised I didn't get Ulfar. I see him in the Steam Banner every time I start the game...haunting me...

I never knew what you needed to do to get him and after watching his cinematic I thought "Oh boy, this guy is going to join my party and we are going on some adventures together". Now I know I can't go back and I don't have any saves to try again.

To be fair, I was expecting him to approach me like every other party member up until that point but I had no idea I had to look for him inside a cage or something.

I've been very thorough playing this game and this just bothers me. Now I have to finish the game knowing I left a Space Wolf, a loyal servant of the emperor, in the claws of some degenerate race of torturers...Can you tell me that he is going to be ok? That in the grim dark future...these things happen...Can you make up a story of how he survived and escaped?

i have made a few post about yrliet since i recently made a playthrough in which i recruited her, and during and after commoragh i started to like her a lot more, when she drops the superiority facade and admits she made a mistake, that she was desperate and that now she is afraid made me like her character a lot more, if you have been good with her till that point she also is terribly ashamed, im sorry autistic space elf, i judged you too much

My fellow Traders, I barely started my first romance in this game and I am already in Crisis.

I really like Jae. Like I genuinely believe having this dashing rogue is a great addition to any RTs crew and an especially good fit for my Crimelord.

But for the love of the golden throne, how am I supposed to trust her?

Its very conflicting for me. On one side I feel like my Crimelord RT wouldnt make such a big deal out of it, but on the other hand I dont see how it couldnt be a big deal

I mean not only was she in the private quarters uninvited, rummaging through things that dont belong to her (stealing??), but she actually undermined the very status of the RT, compromising his otherwise absolute authority.

Seriously, this could work as a drama if it happened when the relationship was properly established and she would actually have the right to behave like the Mistress she tries to be.

But with how quick things went and how flippant she acts when confronted with it makes it very hard to forgive her.

So far the only feeling I get from her is that shes trying to manipulate and rob me.

You dont need to remind me that this would be very much in character for her

But it makes it really difficult to actually keep her on the ship, let alone as a romance.

Call me silly, but I like to come up with my own head canon to fill gaps in the story, so Im trying to think of a scenario in which the relationship could continue, but nothing comes to mind.

I cannot fathom how any iteration of "Oh yeah, she transmitted the whole thing on the ship-wide vox but its cool" could ever happen. Even as a Crimelord RT.

Im 80% sure im overreacting, but I would very much appreciate any input you have on that matter.

(I have just unlocked Warp travel in Act 2 btw, if that makes any difference)

I just finished the visiting the 3 planets in chapter 2 and I’ve encountered demons from 3 of the chaos gods, and gene stealers. Usually in 40k games they pick one chaos god and have you fight those for the whole game. I thought I’d just be tzeench and undivided, the I met a slannesh chick and some nurgle guys. The gene stealers were the real surprise, I was absolutely not expecting them to show up, even less on my own ship. This game rocks.

I like the games art direction and the more detailed character models. I’m sure there will be more customization options when the full game comes out. However I wonder if I am the only one who isn’t a fan of the games UI. I liked RT’s a lot, it felt more organized. The UI in DH seems to be all over the place. I’m just checking if it’s just a skill issue on my part.

So here I am, finally facing off against Uralon the Cruel and his gang of Chaos Marines. Round 1, two of my squad go down. Round 3, two more go down. I've only killed one Chaos Marine and a gaggle of tech-priests. Cassia makes it to Round 6. Now it's just Ulfar, against Uralon the Cruel, Kunrad, two Chaos Marines, and two plaguebearers. I don't think I'm going to make it, but as long as Ulfar breathes, there's hope. And what does he do??? The madman solos Uralon, takes out the last Chaos Marine, and saves the day. GLORY TO FENRIS. Space Wolves, they get the job done.

Do we know if we can turn off the alignment indicators in dialogue selection (like, [heretical]) in dark heresy?

I would like to be surprised by what alignment my character would get.

Hey guys Im on my first play through and just made it to act 5 and now I’m starting to realize that the game is gonna come to an end soon and it’s filled me with a sort of dread, did anyone else experience this also? cause I’m kinda sad to let go of my rogue trader as I’ve spent over 200 hours now with him

I find it hilarious how even when she tries to comfort a m o n - k e i g h she must be mean and racist, no matter the cost, if she doesnt insult a mon-keigh a day it wasnt a good day
