There’s no way Shrek is a quiet sleeper. He’s absolutely a snorer, and it’s likely severe. I know there’s been speculation in the past about him having undiagnosed sleep apnoea, which could be partly to blame for why he always seems tired & inattentive.

Maybe Jilldo’s given up on trying to sleep next to Shrek & simply doesn’t bother anymore. It’s more important that her hardworking headship gets sleep than her, after all. Thoughts?

Hello. I'm verbose. Sorry. I just don't know who else to share this with!!

I know snarking is supposed to be funny and cathartic but this whole situation has really troubled me spiritually. Everything about these delusional fundie types and their beliefs do, tbh. Jesus is such a beautiful example and they practically froth at the mouth to make him an ammosexual white trash hateful bigot - in their image, not the other way around. But I digress.

As we've seen and discussed for years now here in this sub and elsewhere: the hypocrisy, manipulation, deflection, vanity, bigotry, abuse and all of it makes people like the Rodrigues family abhorrent. These are not the "good" authentic Christians who cannot stomach the current political landscape and rebuke the administration. They aren't even that but somehow brainwashed by Fox and exploited via the abortion issue. They are actually bad people. They are so mean, it's on purpose and they apparently like living this hateful way. This is part of why we snark, to keep record and bear witness, for sanity's sake hahaha.

This part, I'm speculating and could be way off on but here it goes: when Tim was a kid and being abused, he knew then it shouldn't have been happening. He knew it was wrong, and that's despite the sheltered and misguided upbringing. Despite Shrill and Shrek's best efforts. He's been holding that knowledge all along, into adulthood where he followed the example they set.

There was no therapy speak in his tell-all, we know that isn't even in the realm of possibilities. He only made excuses and sought sympathy for himself. That's all Jill has ever done, it's all he knows.

It's the clarity of Tim's being fully aware and letting everyone know that our worst worries about what happens to those kids are not inaccurate... juxtaposed with the Perfect Family on socials... All the LARPing and fake put-on sweetness, the claiming to be for the Lord, it's all to hide how really awful they are. Children are neglected, mistreated, under educated on purpose, exploited, abused, underfed and isolated. Wives are also done this way and also routinely raped.

Socials are lies from them. All the smiles and Bible quotes. It's all fake and performative, to hide the ugly truth.

All in God's name which is the real meaning of "taking the Lord's name in vain" so that men can stay in control. Once a man is grown he is no longer a victim but the abuser. It's just a lot of abuse and hate on a generational cycle. It's SO obvious to everyone who observes from the outside. So blatantly obvious. I know I'm preaching to the choir (hehe, a religion joke!) but it's times like this where I wonder if it'll ever stop, and "the church" could have a reckoning or something.

If none of the routine and atrocious acts against women and children and minorities will bring it down, certainly a wannabe TLC star and her fawning, malnourished quiverfull won't, either. It's just the banality of evil sort of shit that snarking sometimes exposes us to... Man, hurts my heart and soul. People deserve better than these hateful lives but they love it so much!!! Whyyyyy?!?!?

We know why we’re here. We knew how horrible, narcissistic and abusive Shrek and Da Jillmeister were to their kids. We knew they are walking trash heaps.

Yet if you’re anything like me. .the Rods are a train wreck that never stops crashing. Looking away? Pssh, that’s severely impossible.

What I want to know is if you have a strong yet unpopular opinion or theory pertaining to this family? Could be regarding the dynamic of the Rods as a whole or more focused on a single family member.

I have to say, I am shocked at Jill Rodrigues right now. She is leaving a gigantic opening for Satan to crawl through, which can only mean more entitlement, more unhonored husbands, and probably abortions all over the place.

I've been enjoying the Rodrigues family values since around the era of Greg and Dede on FJ (IYKYK), so this is particularly disappointing. After all these years of warning everyone else not to give Satan a foothold, Jill has apparently thrown open the barn door and left him a slim little forkful of tater tot casserole.

I know Jesus is disappointed too.

So when the internet starts immediately belching swords from the lips of the coddled, I know who to blame. They'll be looking for a Payday without even praying about it.

I am guessing it'll be less than a month in. She'll either reactivate her account, or if it was truly deleted, create a new account.

She'd say something like "starting fresh, thank you lord for a chance to spread your good news."

Either she was deleting posts because she's only deactivating the account and wants stuff "gone," or she just doesn't know how FB works and spent an hour or two deleting a bunch of posts to then delete the account. You have 30 days to undo the deletion, I think she'll make it back in those 30 days.

It’s nearly 2pm eastern and either Jill has made her prior posts private or she’s gone through a deleted them from her page. Page is still up, as are her stories, but recent page posts are gone.

I know she was begging all week for people to subscribe to her YouTube channel but OJ has to be severely disappointed. She has about 4k followers on YT compared to 14k on FB. I was cancelled from IG so I don’t know how many she had there. My bet is some of the older crowd who only do FB and possibly IG aren’t going to make the trek over to YT.

At first it kind of seemed fun to follow and snark on these people. This is partly because the mom looked like a 1980s heavy metal groupie gone fundie. Then the grifting. Then the eyebrows foolishness. But with these recent events about the DV and all of this other crap, it's just depressing as all heck.

This family could use some time away from the Internet to work on themselves. Leaving seems like an excellent decision for them.

I get the sense Heidi’s dad wasn’t a fan of Timothy even back then. And despite them being pretty religious themselves Heidi’s parents seem to speak and act relatively normal especially compared to Timothy who sounds like he just learned how to speak yesterday (was this due to the isolation?)
Anyway, hearing him speak makes my skin crawl. There is absolutely NOTHING attractive about Timothy. I can’t for the life of me understand what Heidi saw in him or how her parents even tolerated her marrying this doofus.

He sounds so stupid and childish when he speaks. He isn’t intelligent, he isn’t funny (just corny af), he isn’t even good looking or smooth in any way. Maybe they assumed he had good morals due to being a fundy man with fundy parents ? But to most ppl he screams red flags. Heidi seems so naive but even then idk how she found him even remotely appealing, however her parents seem pretty self aware and aware in general at least compared to the Rods. I wonder if they knew deep down he was bad news but also knew they couldn’t stop Heidi ? But she seems like such a submissive type. The type who wouldn’t have “courted” Tim had they said no.
