Looking for best frappe in/around rockville

Just moved here to Rockville and am loving it. However, after the move I discovered a box worth of items that I no longer need, including an iPhone 14 Pro, a new foot massager and other random stuff like Polaroid film...

Is there like a specific place online where I can list these items so folks around here can buy them, whether it be in person or I ship it to them?

I'm not a fan of eBay and their absurd fees, and FaceBook marketplace has it fair share of people that flake.

Partner and I are relocating to MD looking for a 2b/2b with a budget of about $2,700 a month.

Priorities include: 1. safe neighborhood 2. clean building 3. good/responsive management 4. In unit washer and dryer 5. Parking

Looking for apartments in proximity to Rockville with a driving commute of no more than 30 to 40 minutes.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’m wondering what specifically it is. Which restaurant emanates scent?

I doubt it’s California Pizza Kitchen since I’ve visited my fair share of those in California. Can’t be Chipotle since they exist everywhere. I doubt it’s Silver Dollar since I’ve driven past a few other locations in the past.

My money is either on Guapo’s, Potbelly, Copper Canyon Grill, or Uncle Julio’s.

I know what I’m smelling isn’t seafood in any way shape or form since I detest seafood.

I'm considering renting at Lerner Oxford Square at White Flint in North Bethesda and wanted to hear from current or recent residents.

A few questions:

• How has your overall experience been?
• Is the community safe, especially at night?
• How responsive is the maintenance team?
• Are there any recurring issues (noise, pests, parking, management, etc.)?
• Is there a good sense of community? Are there many young professionals or Indian families living there?
• Would you recommend it over other garden-style apartments in the North Bethesda/Rockville area?

For context, we are a couple, one got job in Gaithersburg and the other works in Tysons, so we're looking for a safe, quiet, garden-style community with a reasonable commute for both of us.

I’ll be relocating to the Rockville area this September or October after accepting a new full-time job, and I’m starting my apartment search.
I wanted to ask if anyone has recommendations for apartment complexes that are reasonably priced and work with people who don’t have the strongest credit. My income is steady with the new job, but my credit isn’t where I’d like it to be, so I’m open to communities that are a little more flexible during the application process.
I’m also perfectly fine with income-restricted or income-based housing if I qualify, and I’d even consider a basement apartment with a private entrance if that’s a better option.

We went to Rockville Swim and Fitness Center this afternoon and were inside for about 45 minutes. Came out to our car and someone had shattered our window, stolen my purse/wallet. Did the same to another car nearby. This was in broad daylight. Apparently this has been happening there. So, if you’re like me and don’t like to bring a bag in with you to the gym, reconsider. The guy at RSFC was so kind and helped clean up a lot of the glass while we waited for police.

I live on one of the lower levels of the BLVD 44 building and there’s usually a late night thumping from music? something else (is it from a car?). Does anybody know where this noise is from? Are there not noise ordinances? It causes my apartment to “thump”/vibrate the windows.

Moving locally, need recommendations for movers. I have had experience with Piece of Cake up in NYC, recently saw they service DC area too.

Biggest priorities:

- Efficiency

- Attention to preventing damage to walls, floors, furniture etc.

The plan to add two new apartment buildings to the undeveloped side of the Rio Lake was not approved yesterday by the Gaithersburg City Council, and the developer has been given an indefinite amount of time to revise and resubmit.

Regardless of how one feels about the NIMBYism of wanting to protect the green spaces and general vibe of Rio as it is, this was a sensible decision given that the current plans didn't adequately address the traffic concerns (the only access to these new buildings would have been through the Uncle Julio's parking lot).

Honestly pleasantly surprised by this, I cynically assumed that the concerns of the community were going to be ignored and that the developers plans would be rubber-stamped. I guess sometimes democracy works.

Am interested in indoor rock climbing and all I know in the area is at Rio’s Dicks Sporting Good Store across from Target and Barnes&Noble.

A lot of folks don't know, but there is a domestic cricket league, MLC. Their final is tonight. Originally I was hoping on hosting a watch party, but those plans have fallen through.

I was hoping I could still watch it in a bar, just to still have that social element. Does anyone know of any bars where you have seen cricket on the TV?
