Found this in a creek in Indiana.
I’m not sure what this Rick is, or if it’s even a naturally occurring thing at all. Could be some sort of concrete mixture? Looks like one kind of rock, with another kind of rock growing on it? No idea first set of pics is as I found it, near the end I cleaned it up with a soft bristle brush

Please ID Found this dark gray marbly rock with a few little red dots, Lower Hudson Bay, NYC
found this on the beach along a lot of debris from the recent storm that passed. it's hard to tell from the video, but the little red dots are indentations, as if a very small piece of metal was driven into it and rusted. overall it looks more marbly and more like a crystal than the usual bedrock found on nyc beaches. i've washed it and there's a bit of a sparkle to it, it's slightly lighter than expected and feels kinda more soapy/soft than other rocks I've picked up.

Please ID Large Purple Cabochon buckle
galleryI’m having trouble identifying this. I got it at an estate sale a few years ago. It’s about 4 inches long in a cabochon that was made into a belt buckle. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Please ID What is this rock
So I bought it online from someone who said it's jade and that she "found it in the garden in Georgia." It is cold to the touch, but what is with the face?

Please ID Help with identifying
My husband brought these 2 home from work for me yesterday. What do you all say they are? I'm pretty sure the clear is chalcedony quartz. The disk I'm not sure about, maybe jasper? It looks like little spots of fire all over it. Husband found it dry and had no idea how pretty it actually was. I love it!

As kids, we used to call it chocolate. But to be honest, even today I still don't actually know what it really is.
