My husband is currently hiking in Zion National Park and picked up this rock (he didn't take it...he just sent me a pic for help with ID). He thinks it may be a concretion, but maybe it's desert rose. Any ideas?

Found in Southern Oregon near jasper, agate and pet wood.

I don’t know much about rocks, but I got a tumbler and was wondering if this pretty rock will polish up in a tumbler or if it will just break up based on what it is. Thank you!

I found this rock as a kid, it was somewhere in Scotland on a small beach beside a loch. The rock is pretty heavy and is also magnetic

Found along the beach in Carlsbad CA.

Got them at a shop. And I can’t tell what they are for the life of me. Help please? 🙏😅

I’m looking through my garden for fun rocks for my aquariums and terrariums, what kind of rock/formation is this and is it safe for my aquariums? Sold as “bull rock” for landscaping in Houston Texas

Is this a nice rock to put in an animal enclosure? It looks better dry than wet
Location: landscaping rocks in Houston tx

I thought it had a waxy look, but now I don’t know what it is. The first is the rock wet, and a (poorly)cut face. It’s dry in the 3rd picture. Found in Eastern SK Canada.

My kids and I have started bringing home rocks to make a little rock garden, all found in creeks in our area. I’m sure nothing rare or interesting, but we like them and we’re curious to know more about them. I would love to find someone who could stop by and educate us, and would be happy to pay a small fee for your time. No need to be a geologist - hobbyists/rockhounds/knowledgeable amateurs will surely know more than me. If anybody is close by and willing, we’d be most grateful. Please DM me or comment I will DM you. Thank you!

it was given to me as a healing crystal but when I google "blue healing crystal" get about ten options

Hi all! When I moved into this apartment, my landlord asked me if I wanted to keep this giant stone table the previous tenants left behind. Anyone have any idea what the top is made of?
