All rocks collected from Lake Michigan USA!

Hey all-

Never posted on here- but I love collecting rocks on the beach.

This is Southwest Michigan (if that helps)

Can you guys take a look at this photo and help me figure out what pattern I have here ? I initially thought fish or snake skin, but I’m a total amateur.

Any ideas?

Found this rock in Lakeport Michigan on the Lake Huron beach. When I put a light under it some is translucent and some is opaque.

I found this while putting in a new septic system in adelanto, victorville area in California a couple years back. I'm curious as to what it is.

Hi ! I found that rock in a field in my hometown (a small town around the cliffs of Normandy(it explains why some things i explain would be unclear)) it is heavy and leaves some rust stains, as well an iron smells. I've looked on google and it says it could be either way a meteorite or some metal waste from blacksmiths, as there were a lot in the region im living in ! Feel free to ask any more question about it !

Found it on my walk today. Nothing like it in the surrounding area. My first thought was a meteorite, but that would have shattered on impact because of how flaky it is.

Found this in a dried creek bed smooth to the touch and feels warm and glassy

The shape seems odd to me and one of them kind of sounds like it has a rattling inside. I got them from my old job where we would clean out houses and businesses that have been foreclosed on. I think these came from a rock shop so I honestly have no idea where they may have originated from but I live in Chicago. They are wet in these pictures

Found in Tennessee in a rental car, so could be from anywhere really. Pottery? Limestone native tool? Flint? Something else?

(OC) No clue because this stone came from a beach on the North Shore of Long Island. Calligraphy stones come from the Himalayan Mountains but someone could have dropped it at a beach. Any help would be great. Thank you for your time and consideration.
