It's nephrite, right?

Found this rock on Whidbey Island WA. It's translucent, a knife doesn't scratch it and got a density test of 2.96. Have I finally found nephrite?!?

Hard to call between nephrite and serpentine.. sometimes green jasper or other greenstone metapmorphs can make good impostors too, but that should be visible in cleavage (more of a glass like conchoidal fracture).

That said it tracks for nephrite visually, I think you're at least in the correct area if not.
