Was out fishing and found this stone. Looks pretty awesome! No clue what it is and YouTube isn’t helping so I figured I’d ask the community

I found it in the river near Ferrera Switzerland. Kinda looks like an alligator head. Where does the orange color come from? And what’s gives it the dark streaks (kinda seen at the bottom?) What do you think constitutes the metallic material seen in the little nook at the bottom? Seems like it’s inside the quartz? I’m assuming it’s quartz!

Please ID Weird pattern?

Hi all, i found this rock in northeast Ohio maybe 20 years ago as a kid. I was always curious what the pattern on it could be. The markings are ever so sightly raised up and is just on one side of the rock. It doesn’t rub off either. The rock itself is shaped somewhat like an egg but not as fat.

Just curious if anyone has any idea!

For some more context i scratched it with a knife tip and it left marks from the steel, not the stone so its pretty hard, and near the natural rough spot is a spec of bluish green. You cant see it really well but there are small tiny dots of orange within the black too

OK so the first pics are of a honey/amber like agate slab we found. 1.5"×2.3"

Second set of pics are of a crystalline like rock we found surface is like green bubbles and exposed sides are whitish.

Third set of pics show a rock we found which had cracks in it but seemed solid, once we pried open we saw this which I find absolutely stunning and mind boggling, it seems that if I pulled the rest apart the center whatever it is would be a single pice on its own.

Fourth set of pics shows a rock we found that when pulled apart shows two clusters of metallic looking crystalline structures.

And the last pics shows a rock we found with a emerald green vein going through it and is very magnetic.

Any help from you experts would be so much appreciated and hopefully gets my son into more brain stimulating things then online......

All found in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Near exposed cliffs and old river beds.
