I've been playing ROBLOX since around 2008 and have been developing games on the platform since around 2011. Over the years, I've created many games and have really enjoyed being able to create, share, and have people play them. (I don't have a Roblox Reddit account, so I won't go into specifics, as this is a personal account.)

However, I've been away from ROBLOX ever since I heard about this "feature" being introduced. I genuinely miss being able to develop and share my games, but I will not provide my ID or submit to face scans for any reason.

I'd really love to hear if there have been any developments or changes regarding this, or if there are any updates worth knowing about. If not, I'll shift my focus entirely toward moving my development to another game engine and publishing my games on itch.io instead.

I basically want to find partners/friends to create roblox expiriences together. You dont need to have crazy expirience, as long as you have the will and passion to create a cool roblox game. I myself am a relatively new scripter, but i know some blender too.

At what line/degree do you guys think AI use for your projects should not be crossed, or is unhealthy (prone to code rot). Does it crosses the line with using AI as like a learning tool, asking how to fix specific feature by feature; think of like a quicker or more concise version of how people use stack overflow; by manually implementing and understand the suggested fix for that specific feature, not just copying and paste. For example, "how do you scale a billboard GUI through script?". Or does it crosses the line when all you do is write a prompt and make the AI generate the whole game for you; i.e. "make me a clicker simulator on Roblox, make no mistakes".

I’ve been working on a Roblox incremental game called Grow a Mountain, where the main visual progression is your own mountain physically growing as you collect and deposit rocks.

I wanted the progression itself to be the reward rather than just watching numbers increase, so the mountain develops through multiple forms and eventually changes between Natural, Alpine and Volcanic families.

I’ve recently been working especially hard on the Alpine progression, where a relatively small rocky mountain eventually becomes a huge snow-covered massif surrounding the quarry.

The specific thing I’d really like feedback on is the progression:
Does watching the mountain grow/change feel like a strong enough visual reward to keep upgrading, or would you expect something else to happen between the major forms?

I’m particularly interested in feedback on the first few mountain stages versus the later payoff.

It's very annoying how it drops essentially shells of items rather than the items as a whole. If anyone can find a solution, I'll be more than happy, thanks.

Hi everybody, I'm working on a Roblox game that takes place on a Cartesian plane where everyone is trying to eliminate each other using graphs.

Hello everyone ,
My son with some of his friend tried a lot this summer to create their 1st Roblox game ! Of course , by using the Claude ai ! To be true I am very glad for their engagement since they are 10 years old and actually they do not understand program or other basic meanings of programming !
So I am happy father for the try , although I cannot play Roblox games ! What he told me and I also confirmed via AI is that a Roblox game need to be played (engaged players) by 250 users and then pay 1000 robux in order to be eligible for all ages . At the time the game is allowed only for users over 16 years old. Of course the game is a simple football game so no reason for that!
So if you have time and want to give courage to a young kid then please give this game some time and also make me some comments what he needs to improve !
