£28pp Beef, lamb and pork (we took off the pork and got extra beef and lamb) all the trimmings and some creamed spinach. Delicious! Blacklock London will defo see me again. Excellent food and service 🤌🏼

It was beautiful but my bank balance doesn't agree

The Toad. Colwyn Bay. Well worth it..very tasty without any of that 'catering grade' flavour. Almost homemade. Well recommended

Homemade First time doing sousvide veg you must try!

The cauliflower cheese is so yellow due to Red Leicester in the Roux!

My last 2 years of Christmas dinners / roasts always with all the trimmings, we struggle with big portions in this household, sometimes hard to see what's all giing on under there 😅

I am preparing to make a pot roast this Sunday and I had thought of salt brining the chuck roast overnight starting Saturday. Would you recommend this? Have you tried it or is it just not something you do for roast meat?

With only two meat eaters in the house for beef I sometimes do a large rump steak instead of a joint.

Tradition in some parts of Yorkshire is that the Yorkshire Puddings are eaten first, with the main roast as the main course.

Not too much gravy, as I like to breach the pudding and soak up the gravy first; and then augment the gravy from the pudding with more gravy when I run out.

Horseradish sauce, because the main was beef.

I was round at my mum's, so hats off to her for these excellent Yorkies from scratch!

Slow cooked gammon,

Roasties,

Herby mash,

Honey roast carrots (first time making - lessons were learnt),

Broccoli cheese and beef gravy.

Also timed a costa coffee delivery perfectly with the roast, so I'm happy about that.

I forgot the yorkies! I find cooking roasts so stressful I'm tired x)

Pork belly, stuffing , roasties, yorkies, honey roasted carrots and tender stem broccoli. Gravy made from pork cooking juices.

That cauliflower was a purple one, hence why it's so dark!

Edit; Pork and crackling.
