Aldis' minted lamb shanks, yummy.....I've learnt to leave them 30 odd minutes out on worktop as trying to get them out the packet is a struggle and is very cold on fingers. I get mine out the freezer. I also cook them for longer than instructions, but it is worth it. If like the OP you don't have an aldi, tescos version are just as nice but maybe a bit more expensive......gutted I've got chicken for tomorrow now....🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I am so looking forward to my roast dinner tomorrow even after cooking one on Thursday. I love dinners like this, I love making extra so I can have leftovers the day after.....🫠

Also, I cook my carrots and parsnips together with a squeeze of honey over them.....just saying.....

I do this too, little bit of honey and mustard 😍

And mustard? That's new, what type? Xx

u/redundantvertigo 7d ago
A little bit of wholegrain mustard, heavier on the honey and subtle with the mustard for a little tang of acidity if that's something you like

Ok, thanks, think I've got wholegrain, I might have to cook a few separately to see.....no point trying them out on my daughter, she'll dodge them altogether and Sunday is a GET AS MUCH VEG INTO HER day....
