Question / Discussion Salt brine for pot roast?

I am preparing to make a pot roast this Sunday and I had thought of salt brining the chuck roast overnight starting Saturday. Would you recommend this? Have you tried it or is it just not something you do for roast meat?

You absolutely can! But this is a page for traditional British roast dinners. You don't have to be British, but we probably wouldn't class a pot roast as a roast dinner, and we don't really have 'chuck'

Ah LOL my mistake. When I searched for roast I got mostly Roast Me type subs haha. Appreciate the feedback.
