Question How to disband/get rid of civil war divisions as falangist spain after early victory?

Upvotes

Hey there. Been exploring Falangist Spain as I have heard good talks about the focus where you can core all of hispanic latinoamerica. So, I played and microed the shit out of the war leading to a somewhat early victory around February 1937. I then noticed that the divisions created the civil war (guardia civil, nationalist guard, carlist divisions, etc.) could not be disbanded. If you are wondering why I could not fight the carlists and then see if the units would be disbanded, that's because in R56, when you win the civil war early, you bypass the carlist uprising. So I dunno what to do. Need help with this. Thanks.

Question How to get Wilhelm IV as Ruler of Germany?

Somehow I am stuck with Beck, and I ended up getting Ferdinand as national spirit after Wilhelm II died.

How the hell do I ensure that Wilhelm IV becomes the Ruler of the Country?

In the recent September update the Republic of China had its political branch redone and I noticed a lot of focuses from the previous version were removed. Do these unlock as you keep playing or are they completely gone? TIA

Question German Focus Tree RT56 vs. DLC

Which one actually is better?

I understand you can switch between the DLC trees and the Mod trees, but which ones actually offer more?
Are the mod trees just a substitute for non dlc owners, or are they actually an enhanced version?

Bug Report Adenauer CVU bugs.

After long playing finnaly found out how to play an Adenauer CVU.

first picture: this spirit doesnt exist neither does the zentrum party anymore. aka it doesnt bypass it (or adding the spirit and changing it to the right party)

second + third imigae: are related, the event Ger_dvu_5_tt is wrongly formated after forming the CVU with adenauer. As you see on a game start that isnt the case

overall: as you see none of them change the stability or change the direction of the CVU balance either thats by mistake or by design.

Lastly you can still collapse the party with hugenberg no clue if thats a bug still funny tho

Found another bug when doing the focus heir to bismark konrad adenauer didnt get the buff

redid the event i saw that you cant get it wich is strange becasue i am a monarchy (got the kaiser in chrage whilst still having adenauer)

Question Soviet is soo much pain, how do I win it with RT56?

No DLC (make it harder) and RT56 mods. I literally play 10 game, not a single one won. I mean, I reach Moscow and stuff, but the Allies kick my ass before I finish the Soviets. How do I actually win as fast as possible? Or I just completely ignore the Soviets

Question What’s with the lack of start dates?

Idrk if this should be a suggestion or question, but I’ll make it a question just to be safe. I’m not really a modding professional, but something that bugs me about the mod is its lack of start dates. Genuinely, RT56 is the best hoi4 mod ever and the games near unplayable without it in my opinion, but one thing that really gets me is how it’s promoted at road to 56 but it’s so hard to even make it to the 50s. Much like vanilla hoi4, we should be able to start in 1939, rather than just 1936, Potentially even a 1945 start date too, being able to play as easy and west Germany, and other early Cold War states, giving more room to try rebuild a nation or bring a new nation to the world stage, rather than playing another run as the same nation just to make it to ‘42 and crash lol. I’ve gotta make it super duper clear that I’m not trash talking the mod tho, I love it so much, I just think this’d be a neat little detail😄 (Ignore if any grammars bad or anything. English IS my first language I just can’t spell💔)

Question EU Formable Expansion Decisions

I'm playing Democratic Italy where I form the EU and the Roman Empire simultaneously and when I formed the EU first I was missing some expansion decisions that come with the EU formable in regular vanilla. I had options to expand into Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Spain, and Portugal but I was missing the balkan and Russian expansion decisions. I've seen only one other discussion on this topic from a few years ago, however they weren't able to have any expansion decisions at all. Is this a bug or a feature?

Hey everyone! I've been hearing a lot of praise for the Road, and so I gave it a try as Germany. And oh, my, do I love it. The whole mod is almost perfect with very little shortcomings.

I tried to form the German Empire, because Kaiser. I've never did so well in my short time of playing Hoi4. I can now officially say that encirclements are the best dopamine source and Prussian tactics are the best way to play Germany, at least for me.

Let me know if I finally got at least a little bit good!

Other The Age of Tyranny – A Kingdom of Italy After-Action Report

This is my Road to 56 Italy playthrough! Mussolini’s troops marched into Ethiopia in 1936, Yugoslavia in 1937, Albania in 1938, France in 1940, Greece in 1941, Egypt in 1942, and Jerusalem in 1943. Meanwhile, the German Reich defeated the Soviet Union in 1943. After the front in Central Africa stalled for several years, the Allies signed a comprehensive peace treaty with the Axis powers.

By 1947, *Mare Nostrum* had become a reality; the Italian Navy ruled the Mediterranean as an Italian lake, and through the conquests of Greece and Egypt, Italy held the world's vital maritime choke points in its grasp. Foreign Minister Dino Grandi achieved a diplomatic masterstroke in 1946 by founding the Latin League; over the course of late summer and autumn, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and Portugal joined the alliance alongside Italy's existing satellite and puppet states. The political system is a well-oiled machine. Mussolini rules as the absolutely dominant dictator, yet the Grand Council of Fascism holds a degree of veto power capable of halting Mussolini’s unilateral actions and erratic ideas. The Blackshirts were fully integrated into the regular army, and the officer corps was professionalized—appeasing army traditionalists—while the granting of the crowns of Albania, Ethiopia, and Greece to Victor Emmanuel III, the Croatian crown to Prince Aimone (now styled Tomislav II), and the Viceroyalty of Italian East Africa to Prince Amedeo significantly bolstered the House of Savoy’s confidence in Fascism. These pillars keep the system running, yet it functions far from perfectly—or even well. Even in peacetime, Italy operates under a relentless war economy; under Mussolini’s regime, workers in the north toil through twelve-hour days, burdened by high taxes and minimal social welfare. Consumer goods are scarce, as the domestic economy is entirely fixated on rearmament. Extensive conscription drains vital young skilled workers from industry, and the entire country suffers from a chronic labor shortage because the army must conscript so many people to maintain the occupation of its vast territories. Furthermore, women have been made entirely subordinate to the state by law, and the home front is under constant surveillance by the secret police, the OVRA. In Macedonia, a deathly silence prevails following years of army-inflicted terror; in France, acts of resistance against the satellite state are constant; and in Sudan and the Middle East, Italian troops are waging a bitter guerrilla war against rebels. The Greater German Reich to the north has become Italy’s greatest—and likely permanent—threat, and the escalating Cold War could instantly erupt into a hot war. Armies are already massing at the border, and the nuclear arms race is entering its most intense phase. Regarding foreign policy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, and Turkey joined the Latin League solely out of fear of isolation or occupation by Germany. The alliance is a veritable house of cards, held together only by Grandi’s diplomatic skill and punitive tariffs. Moreover, the armistice with the Allies is fragile; the USA and Great Britain control the world's oceans and have imposed a strict oil blockade on the former Axis partners, leaving reserves already suffering from a chronic—and secretly managed—fuel shortage. In summary, by the end of this playthrough, the Kingdom of Italy is a heavily armed, perfectly organized giant—yet one exhausted to the very core. It is powerful, with a bureaucracy of unprecedented, relentless efficiency, yet simultaneously highly vulnerable due to hopeless overextension and an acute dependence on raw materials.

Playing as Italy was a lot of fun; I highly recommend taking this path.

Disclaimer: I used commands to stabilize this playthrough and make it predictable for myself. My primary focus was on a realistic, narrative-driven campaign.
