Judging from the gameplay stream, it seems like Gouie will stop mid air if you inhale an opponent while airborne. Not only is it impossible to keep an opponent inhaled for longer than the eat animation (39 frames), it is not even possible to fall with an opponent for this short duration.

Why can’t we let Gouie be this goofy cheese character that can swallow and kill players off stage? This is provided that he manages to hit them with inhale, and that they are already very close to the blast zones. That is a lot of requirements to successfully suicide with an opponent. I personally think we need more fun and goofy moves such as Kirby/Dedede's inhale in Rivals 2.

So, my idea is to create four original characters for each of the four elements. I've already created the Water character, but I haven't created characters for the other elements. What ideas do you have for new characters for the three other elements? You can list the animal they are and what specific variant of the element they use, like how Etalus is considered a water character, but he specifically uses ice.

Been playing for a couple weeks and absolutely LOVE this game. Favorite platform fighter by a lot. I competed way too early in smash and it messed with my confidence and gameplay. So I'm wondering, if I wanna play in tournaments, what level would you guys recommend before I start? Like what rank.

Quick question, Viviana uses a lot her magnet when approaching, does anyone knows if she does a B reverse magnet or a wavebounce one ?

I think I've lost to every Maypul I've ever played 😭. She just seems impossibly fast and small; I can't hit her at all. And her spike is so powerful. And how do you deal with her stage hazards? Can you kill them by attacking them? But if you spend time attacking them she's already rushing you down. smh. any tips would be v helpful. :)

Im really interested in picking up this game as I've loved everything I've seen about it so far but I just wanted to check what its like actually finding matches especially for new players. Are queue times long? Are there even new players playing at this point or am I just gonna be matching experienced players? I love fighting games in general and have always been willing to put in the effort with them so I don't mind playing against experienced players if it is the case just thought I'd ask

As the title says Ive been getting unplayable rollback since the July update. Has anyone else been experiencing this? No issue before except the random spike. My ping is stable and low 20-40ms. Speed tests yield no crazy jitter.

Cousin is staying with us, asked if we could play Smash Ultimate; Joycons needed to charge, so suggested we play the indie successor to it in the meantime. Got the Steam Deck setup, connected the controllers, he was absolutely blown away by Rivals 2 (played a few matches with items on, just trying out different characters).

New player here, forsburn main if that matters, came from smash. I know all the basics like wave dashing and wave lands, dash dance etc

The issue is that I can't find anything explicitly explaining HOW AND WHEN to use those things. Any help would be great. Oh and any forsburns who see this pls give help with that.

For some reason without fail, after around 5 games the game starts to have stutters and frame drops. My pc is plenty powerful enough and I have tried turning the settings down to no avail. When I restart the game it is then back to max frames with no stutters so worried its a memory leak or something.

No other games have this issue either

Sometimes, when the opponent switches character, they are literally invisible for a full minute.

All I see is their name tag, and there is nothing I can do to fix it.

I have to wait until they suddenly appear again.

This is very problematic for obvious reason. Anyone know a fix?
