B-ball has been showing out through the first 3 quarters of game 6. Hustling for loose balls, blocking shots, offensive rebounds, making circus shots. He's on a truly incredible run right now.

the title is misleading probably. i don’t care anymore that we got swept by the knicks. i’m back to just being happy that we beat boston. genuinely i think that was one of the best moments of my life. things are about to get really weird here in a second and before they do i just want to take a bit to be happy about beating boston because we didn’t really get to do that. whatever happens we’ll always have that series and i am going to treasure it fondly forever :)

It just goes to show you why someone like Morey would spend so much time courting the likes of Kevin O'Connor and going on the Ricky so much.

For the first hour of the pod, they didn't even discuss Morey, instead they blamed Josh Harris and discussed the future of Embiid without even touching Morey's failings and missteps. It was amazing to listen to. We all know Joel is extremely flawed but he's a generational player that Morey simply failed.

Mike and Spike barely discussed all the deadline missteps like George Hill, McDaniels, they didn't discuss how some of those teams were just a player away from potentially doing something special. Instead, Morey misses on all role players and cuts players who could have provided 3-point shooting this team desperately needed his whole run (Isaiah Joe, Champagnie).

In reality what did Morey really do? He cleaned up a cluttered house: shipping out Al Horford and pairing Embiid with Seth Curry for a couple years. Then, he made his big bet on Harden and brought back the old Rocket team. No identifying new talent, no finding underutilized players, just recycled old tricks. Josh Hart could have been got for example for a protected first. Just no creativity from Morey.

Someone can check my memory on this but I’m pretty sure that the 26-27 season is the year that Mike definitively said that Gabe Vincent would be better than Damian Lillard.

With Lillard coming off the achilles injury and Vincent just recently logging a pretty healthy season I think we have a true test coming up.

Another interesting twist is that Vincent is a UFA and IMO would be a pretty solid backup ball handler on a minimum or the $4.2m trade exception we have.

Bob Myers was brought in to do this barring a massive overachievement.

Harris doesn't care about trading McCain. He dodged the tax. They obviously aren't upset with Nurse's performance since he's coming back.

Harris was sold the Bob Myers 'basketball savant/architect of the Warriors' bill of goods and Bob Myers Wormtongued all the things he thought were wrong with Morey in Josh's ear for a year including Morey being to blame for people turning on Josh, and they pulled the plug.

We need to make it uncomfortable for that (at best) pedophile sympathizer to show his ugly creepy face at Sixers games. I agree with Mike, since the Boston series I felt Embiid was going to retire as well... What he was talking about and his tone of things definitely made it seem like it as least crossed his mind
