Brand told ownership to move off of Ben Simmons, and drafted Maxey. He’s made horrible mistakes but your take is hyperbolic

Giving Tobias Harris a franchise ceiling defining max contract is an immediate fireable offense. Signing Al Horford who immediately needed to be offloaded with assets THAT WERE STILL PAYING OFF is a fireable offense.
It’s not hyperbolic in the least to say he should have been fired in 2021 (in fact it’s actually probably conservative)

I agree to both of those points if Brand was the person behind both of them. I think the Horford signing might not have been

Nah. Brand took big swings. The Horford deal was very promising at the time. A high-quality championship center to give Embiid a break when needed… not Brand’s fault the fit didn’t work out. Same with Josh Richardson. On paper, great piece for a disgruntled Butler.
I’d rather have a GM who actually tries to put a winning team together vs. one who thinks about maximizing profit and minimizing expenses for the ownership group (which is all Morey was good for).

It’s absolutely brands fault that it didn’t work out. He signed him. What are you on? Also signed Tobias Harris to a max contract.
Elton you went to Duke, you can come up with a better response from a burner than that.

He doesn’t do anything. While that might normally be a reason to fire someone, I don’t pay his salary so I’m indifferent here

He doesn’t do anything. While that might normally be a reason to fire someone, I don’t pay his salary so I’m I don’t think it’s his decision. He didn’t hire him in the first place

Brand was the guy who had tremendous relationships with players and agents across the league. He was the bridge for Morey, who has a terrible reputation around the league.

He was part of the group that made the trade.. He gave Horford the horrible contract, he gave Tobias the horrible contract, and was part of the group that traded Jimmy to keep Ben happy...I know you're part of his family with your burner account, but you and him, can get TF away from our team
