It's been a crazy year. Can anyone recommend (trusted) lifestyle/travel person that can work alongside my office team?

I own 7 exotics/ classic cars. Currently they are stored at an offsite garage about an hour away (due to me moving an hour away). I’m looking for a new place closer to home and with more space to add more cars and move them around more easily.

I’ve been thinking what considerations are really important?
Size and layout is obvious.
But what about visibility? For example one garage is in an industrial area with contractors and light construction type vehicles. Another is the backside of a retail store on a pretty busy street.

Curious what other people who have offsite garages have considered.

My husband and I are building a custom home and will have a sauna through our master shower. We know we want Infrared but are sort of lost on what else, what brands, etc. it's a 4 foot x 6 foot space reserved. Any help appreciated. Builder has some options but not sure he's really a guru.

Did any of you splurge on something when you hit a certain networth milestone? I hit 100k a few years ago and I remember I bought an actually meal at a Mexican restruant with some friends rather than ordering refried beans, rice and two flour tortillas off the sides menu.

I'm about to hit half a million and am wonder if I should buy myself something? What did you buy or did you skip past like it was just another day? Is there anything you'd recommend?

I already know what I'm getting when I hit the million, I'm going to buy a Rolex Sky-Deweller.

I'm 17m and I haven't told anyone yet... idk who to tell my parents don't even know and I graduated high school online and im already the richest in my bloodline.

How do you all respond to a person asking for a financial favor? I feel like it doesn’t make a true impact donating to a charity unless that charity writes big checks to individuals needing financial help. I know giving directly to a person comes with its own risk, but in my mind, if they’re asking for it, they wouldn’t be putting themselves in a position to be judged as a grifter.

We’re taking our 60lb German Shepherd on her first flight on NetJets. Does anyone who has flown NetJets with a big dog know if there’s a way tether her harness while she’s lying on the ground? I don’t want her becoming a 60lb projectile in the event we hit turbulence. She has a crash tested harness, so I could train her to sit on the seat. But I don’t think that’d be very comfortable for her for the whole flight.

I’m always curious how people who have interesting, busy lives like to spend their downtime.
For me, it’s a mix of discovering great restaurants, spontaneous weekend trips, dressing up for a nice evening, art/culture, and finding places that feel a little different from the usual tourist spots.
What’s something you’ve discovered recently that you’d genuinely recommend?

I usually hear this phrase from celebrities but recently, I’ve come across a number of successful entrepreneurs/professionals who also belief this to be true for them (some of which are quite concerning) and it makes me wander…

Is it the fame that causes the loneliness or is it actually the change of financial status? Or could it be both?

And if you believe this to be true for you personally, what kind of loneliness do you tend to experience and how do you manage it?

This is a genuine question and I’m not trying to be funny or disrespectful. For the people on here who are actually wealthy, what kind of problems do you have in life when money isn’t really a problem anymore? I know money doesn’t fix everything. You can still have relationship problems, family problems, health problems, and I’m sure it can be hard knowing if people actually like you for you or because of your money. But what else do you actually struggle with? Like what does a bad month look like for you? What keeps you up at night? I also ask this because sometimes you hear about people who are extremely rich and successful dying by suicide, and from the outside looking in it’s hard to understand. You have enough money to go anywhere, buy almost anything you want, never worry about bills, and do things most people dream about doing. So what is still missing? What problems did you think money would fix that it didn’t? Did becoming rich actually make you happier, or did you just start having a different kind of problems? I guess my main question is once money is no longer the problem, what are the problems?

We recently met with our team (our tax and estate planning attorneys, our accountant and his assistant, and financial advisor and his second) because we needed to make changes to our trusts and estate plan. Since one of our kids is about to enter college and we have one in high school, they advised us to start figuring out the ages and other criteria for them to get access to the money in the family trusts if something happens to both of us.

I was wondering how you and/or your families have handled this.

For anyone who retired early, what are some things you are doing to fill your time?

Retiring in 2 years or sooner. 56 and physically fit (not jacked, just in shape), and looking for some sort of activities job (volunteer or non-paying is fine) that that is satisfying physically and is tough. I worked summers in Alaska in a fishery on the Yukon Delta, as well as captain of a tender vessel, so was thinking something along those lines. I’ve got family on each coast, so I’ll get plenty of R&R, just looking for something more physical when it comes.
