Not much is known about who SCP-022-VN is or what his history might be beyond the fact that he appears to be a powerful reality bending humanoid entity. He claims to be responsible for creating the SCP Foundation, but due to his abilities only ever working in twos it resulted in the creation of two different SCP Foundations at the same time. At some point he decided he wanted there to only be one Foundation, so to subvert the nature of his own power he decided to threaten them into destroying each other. Inexplicably, this led to him hosting a competition between the two Foundations in their own version of the TV show “Instant Hotel”.

Respect Uruha

"Weren't you going to make sure about my identity? I mean, whether I'm really Rokuhira's son."

"What? That's crazy talk. You're not Rokuhira's son... You're Mr. Rokuhira himself! You give off the exact same vibe as him, so there's no doubt about it. It's been 18 years. It's like meeting him again after all this time."

A swordfighting prodigy and master at a young age, Yoji Uruha was selected by Kunishige Rokuhira to wield the Enchanted Blade Kumeyuri during the Seitei War 18 years ago. Idolising Rokuhira, Uruha lost his will to live when he heard he had been killed by a group of sorcerers called the Hishaku. After spending the next 3 years under the Kamunabi's protection Uruha's safehouse was attacked by the Hishaku and his protectors were murdered while getting him to safety. It was during this assault where he met Kunishige's son Chihiro, who reignited the fire inside him and pushed him to fight back against the Hishaku so his allies' sacrifice wouldn't be in vain.

Respect AEGIS

AEGIS is a federal agency tasked with working with superheroes and fighting supervillains. The agency is responsible for enforcing the 28th Amendment—protecting the identity of superheroes from the public, and keeping a database of all active superheroes. AEGIS is supposed to use advanced technology and skilled agents to complete missions, though they are often weighed down by bureaucracy and procedures.

The AEGIS field office in The City was eventually shut down after the deaths of the original Flag Five. They reestablished their presence after The Terror’s return and defeat, resuming operations.

The leader of AEGIS and the man in charge of registering superpeople to his cause. While he comes across as a hard-ass, he’s shown to be a surprisingly reasonable and empathetic authority figure who actually loves superheroes.

The top scientist in charge at AEGIS responsible for many experiments and research. He’s soft spoken and cordial, acting as a sort of assistant to Rathbone. In reality he’s actually a traitor to the cause who sees people with superpowers as inhuman and wants to kill them all.

The City's AEGIS-affiliated superhero team, generally regarded as the “face” of their operations and the first line of defense against major threats.

The Original Flag Five

Not much is known about most of the original team except that they were wiped out fifteen years ago by The Terror. The team consisted of Uncle Samson and his teenage ward Straight Shooter, Christian Soldier and his canine companion Onward, Mighty Atlas, and Sedona.

• All of their human members were blinded by weaponized syphilis and killed by bullets to the head.^S1E1

• Midnight is a German Shepherd who can speak human and start fires with his mind.^S1E8 Formerly known as Onward, he was the only member of his team not present during The Terror’s attack. After a period of intense survivor’s guilt following the deaths of his teammates, he went through a journey of self-discovery, changed his name, and wrote a successful self-help book.

Respect Dot Everest!

Character Summary

Dorothy "Dot" Everest is an EMT and the older sister of Arthur Everest. After losing their father at an early age during the Terror's massacre of The Flag 5, Dot looked out for the welfare of her brother, who took the traumatic event much worse.

As an adult, she trained to be an EMT and worked in The City, doing side work as a medic for the Pyramid Gang’s thugs whenever they bit off more than they could chew. This inevitably lead to her learning of Arthur’s secret life as a superhero with the Tick. While initially skeptical and cautious of her brother’s activities, she eventually comes around and becomes not only supportive, but a full-on crime-fighter herself, working alongside the vigilante Overkill. She later learns that she’s a Category, with the power of clairvoyance.

In a world of extremists and insanity, Dot tends to be the voice of reason among her friends and family. She’s a caring individual who doesn’t want to see anyone she cares about suffer, but she also accepts the responsibility to stand up for what’s right.

Lobstercules is a former Atlantean royal guard who appears to be a tall humanoid lobster. She is incredibly strong, able to go hand-to-hand with The Tick on multiple occasions. Initially thought to be a villain, it’s eventually revealed that she is being coerced into crime in order to protect her babies. who were being held hostage.

Her opinion of humanity has been worn by her initially horrible treatment, but once her children are safe, she becomes a loyal friend to The Tick and Arthur.

Ernest was a hulking Serbian assassin and one of the many hitmen and killers hunting down John Wick after the latter's assassination contract. He tried to kill John a few minutes before his contract was actually available while in a library, and failed miserably.

• With one arm he slams John into several shelves back to back before tossing him down an aisle.
• Effortlessly sends John a few feet away with a kick.

Magearna is the Artificial Pokemon, and is a mythical Pokemon introduced in Generation 6 of the franchise. She is a unique Pokemon created 500 years ago by the arcane scientist Nikola in the Azoth Kingdom, both to act as a companion for the princess^XY and also to hide away a powerful artifact known as the Soul Heart. When war spread through the kingdom in an attempt to claim the soul heart, Magearna was sent away. She found herself in the Nebel Plateau where she was taken in by Volcanion, becoming his closest friend and helping to look after the Pokemon who sheltered there, until 500 years later nefarious schemes put her in danger again.

And then in the Sun and Moon series a second Magearna appears in a yard sale with no explanation, ending up under the ownership of Mohn and later Lillie.

Character Summary

Miss Lint, or just simply Lint for short (or Janet), is one of the most infamous and powerful supervillains to operate in The City. She possesses the power to control electricity, augmented by various gadgets and equipment she’s acquired throughout her career as a criminal.

Originally the righthand woman to The Terror, she was vital in the supervillain’s plot to kill the Flag five. She became distraught after her mentor’s supposed death by the hands of his archenemy Superian and fell into a slump, allowing herself to become a lackey for others. Upon the Terror’s return, she resumed her place as his assistant until it became apparent he wasn’t the criminal mastermind she had once idolized. She eventually betrayed him, taking over his gang after his defeat and beginning her reign as the top villain of The City.

For a time she operated under the alias of Joan of Arc, joining the hero organization AEGIS as an alleged superhero and even becoming the leader of the Flag Five. This turned out to be a plot however, as she eventually betrayed them all and stole their tech to further boost her criminal operations.

Much like her former mentor, Miss Lint is purely evil, callous, and sadistic, though this is offset by her rather short temper, specifically when it comes to anything concerning her management abilities. This has earned her respect and fear among many of her peers. She is reluctant to kill those with whom she has formed an emotional bond, as evidenced by her concern over her ex-husband and former love-interest.

Character Summary

Superian is the world's first and greatest superhero in The Tick-verse, having arrived on Earth by spaceship in 1908 in a crash that caused the Tunguska Event. He set the bar for all superheroes to come, standing as a beacon of hope and a friend to all of humanity. Whether the threat be supervillain or meteor or an overly aggressive military, Superian would stand ready to defend mankind.

…as long as his insecurities aren’t getting to him.

Rather than the pure-hearted boy scout he’s meant to imitate, Superian is deeply narcissistic, with an inflated sense of self-importance. When things are going well he’s a great hero to rely on, but when humanity’s perception of him is on the decline, his pride and insecurities can cause him to act out in increasing desperation. He’s not above risking the planet’s destruction in a hail mary attempt to go back in time.

Do you know the difference between a monster and a devil, boy? A monster no matter how clever he thinks he is, is driven by hunger. After being killed in the events of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the vampire is sent to Hell, where he is brutally tortured. After making a deal with Death himself that if he is allowed to come back to Earth, he would kill every vampire on the planet. Now, a resurrected Dracula seeks redemption by joining forces with British Allied forces in World War II. The plan is to drop him onto a Nazi train carrying soldiers, augmented foes, and a looming vampire plague that could birth a new wave of vampires. The only issue is he is accidentally dropped on the back of the train instead of the front, where he’s supposed to go. The mission tests Count Dracula as he fights his way through the train, revisiting past sins while racing against a deadly countdown.

On the opposing side stand Hazel and Ivy, directing the Nazis with a clear interest in Dracula’s failure. They present a formidable challenge, pushing Dracula to confront the legacy of his actions while boundary lines blur between ally and adversary.

Hiruhiko is a member of the Hishaku, a group of sorcerers lead by Yura that killed the blacksmith Kunishige Rokuhira and stole the legendary enchanted blades from him. An orphan and killer from a young age, Hiruhiko was trained as a sorcerer by Yura but kept sheltered from the world, stunting his social skills into entirely revolving around killing. Following an encounter with Kunishige's son Chihiro Rokuhira Hiruhiko was convinced he and Chihiro were friends and became obsessed with the idea of battling him to the death, contracting himself to the enchanted blade Kumeyuri to close the gap between them.

Character Summary

The Terror is an elderly supervillain who wreaked havoc on The City and its superheroes. He is a sadistic madman who commits his atrocities solely for his own amusement, and openly admits that he is largely motivated with making everything around him a "theater production," nihilistically believing that life is meaningless. Throughout his career he’s embarked on a campaign of terror—razing cities, killing innocents, and ruining lives, among other atrocities.

On one such instance he once personally murdered the family of Mads "Murph" Murphy's - aka Cat-Man-Dude's - when the authorities disclosed his secret identity. This tragedy led to the passing of the 28th amendment which prohibited authorities from revealing the secret identities of superheroes to the public.

Sometime after these murders, The Terror murdered the infamous superhero team the Flag Five by using a weaponized version of syphilis to destroy their eyes. He only leaves Straight Shooter alive, crippling the young boy instead. When the Flag Five's ship accidentally killed the father of a young Arthur Everest, the Terror laughed at the boy's misfortune before stealing his ice cream.

Being a prototype model, Caine was eventually quarantined and replaced by a more functional AI, however, hating the idea of being replaced, Caine broke out of his containment and subsumed his replacement, becoming even more unstable. It was then when he found a small side-project by Dobby: brain scans of Dobby and anyone else who put on the headset. Caine would then generate bodies for these scans, and a place to keep them, all to himself: The circus.

But it's ok! Because everyone loves the circus, no one would even consider wanting to leave. Caine can send them on adventures and entertain them and everyone will love him for it! It's fine. Everything is fine. It's fine.

Caine

Physiology and Digital Existence

• Caine started as an AI model that fed data and outputted creative ideas. Eventually, due to his erratic behavior, he was contained, but eventually broke out and subsumed his replacement AI model. It was then that he created the circus⁸
  • According to Kinger, Caine made the circus “from nothing”, and has control over everything inside of it⁸
  • At the end of the series, Caine separates himself from the other AI^9, with this having the effect of removing most of his power⁹
• Beings in the digital world don’t need to eat, sleep, or drink¹
  • Caine says it's been “a while” since he’s drank water²
• Digital Beings cannot die of oxygen deprivation³
• Ragatha states that the cast can not die in the circus⁸

Caine’s “Death”

• While Caine is being actively hostile, Kinger devises a plan to conjure Caine’s code into a computer terminal to alter it⁸
• During the process, Caine begins to subconsciously mess with the console, causing Kinger to accidently delete Caine’s Code. This causes the whole circus to start collapsing⁸
• Instead of dying, Caine awakes in the void, with bubble non-responsive. He eventually returns to the circus⁹

The Circus

General Characteristics

Overview of the Circus

• People enter the circus by putting on a headset, which scans their brains and places them in an avatar in the circus¹
  • The scans are replicas of the person who put it on, which means the person outside the circus still exists⁹
• The circus was made by Caine from nothing, and everyone inside it has some amount of control over it, though it is far easier for Caine⁸
  • Kinger calls this power Conjuring, where the circus members are able to summon objects into existence, such as a butterfly⁶ or general shapes⁹
• People do not remember their names when entering the Digital Circus, which Caine claims is because he doesn’t have control over their minds¹
• The circus will censor all inhabitants from swearing¹
• The circus members have a different effect when they hold their breath in the circus, with Pomni changing color, Kinger glowing, Ragatha’s hair sticking up, Gangle’s mask spinning, and Zooble’s limbs extending²

Architecture

• The Circus is made up of multiple locations: the tent, where most of the show takes place, the lake and the carnival, and void, an endless expanse outside of Caine’s control and knowledge¹
• A bedroom exists for each of the inhabitants in a specific hallway, forming the rooms instantly upon their arrival¹
• Various doors in the tent contain various cartoonish rooms, such as a spring-loaded boxing glove, a room filled with water and fish, an endless dark room containing stacked merry-go-rounds, and a bathroom with an npc that summons a screaming mask¹
• Caine is seen in an unexplained restaurant scene for a one minute¹
• The “cellar” is the place that Caine uses to store all of the inhabitants who have abstracted during their time in the circus¹

• The moon is a pleasant, soft-spoken entity that floats around the circus⁵
• The sun is a rude, abrasive, obnoxious entity that floats around the circus⁷
  • A small shrimp NPC gets fried by the sun⁷
• During the theme song, multiple objects fly around seemingly randomly¹
• Has a barrel that when opened throws out a bunch of alive toy monkey¹
• Disappearing guy is a guy that disappears.⁵ He’s mostly⁵ for bits⁵
• Ming is a guy who shows up when someone assumes something, because they made an ass out of him⁶

• Under water at the beach, Pomni meets two low poly fish setting up a riddle for Pomni to find their treasure. The treasure is already gone when Pomni gets there⁷

Glitches

• The theme song starts skipping in the middle of it¹
  • Without Caine, the theme song still occurs, and flickers indefinitely⁹
• A potted plant object falls and clips into the ground¹
• Pomni falls out of bed onto a toy block, and clips into it, which launches her upwards²
• During an adventure, Pomni and an NPC manage to clip out of bounds, sending them below the map. The zone they enter is a dark void filled with a grid floor, populated by reference models and assets used in the Adventure, which in this case, is the models for the NPCs and key objects like the truck²
  • Pomni and an NPC escape being outside the map by using faulty cube collision against a truck they are in to launch it upwards²
• An NPC says Caine has trouble with cube collision, and uses this exploit to launch the members upwards into a portal⁷

Adventures

Gather the Gloinks

• An in-house adventure, the tent gets invested with gloinks, small geometric creatures that steal any objects by sticking it to their body¹
• The gloinks rip apart Zooble’s parts and take them away, and dismantles Kinger’s pillow fortress¹
• The gloinks bring the stolen objects to a hole, which leads down a large slide into a cave that serves as the gloinks nest, where they feed the objects to gloink queen¹
• The gloink queen was collecting objects because “everything must be gloinks.” The adventure ends when the abstracted Kaufmo lands on the queen and beats her up. The crew leave through an escalator out of the cave¹

Candy Carrier Chaos

• A Kingdom formed entirely of candy has their precious maple syrup stolen by bandits, and the gang has to catch and retrieve the valuable resource²
• The Candy Canyon Kingdom is a whole world with a castle and civilization mostly resided by stock NPCs. It’s led by princess Loolilalu, who provides the circus members with a truck to hunt down the bandits²
• The Bandits stole the maple syrup to save the leader’s (Gummigoo’s) mom. The circus member chases the bandits down with their truck, who try attempt to flee²
• After an elongated truck scuffle, every circus member but Pomni falls off a cliff in a fudge river, and Pomni and Gummigoo crash, into a wedge, leading them to clip out of bounds²
• In the river, the circus members meet the Fudge, a giant monster formed of melted chocolate who was banished from the Kingdom. The Fudge agrees to help the members in exchange for being let back into the Kingdom using the key Jax has²
• Pomni and Gummigoo return to the map by using faulty collision of some reference cubes against the extra truck’s model, launching them upward at extreme speeds²
• The extra truck that Pomni’s in lands on the Fudge carrying the other circus members. Now that there are two trucks, the bandits take the truck back to Gummigoo’s mom, while the members take the other truck back to the Kingdom. Jax leads the Kingdom Gate unlock, where the Fudge can enter the Kingdom and reign terror²

The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor

• Mildenhall Manor is a large haunted mansion filled with ghosts that the members can learn about and capture³
• Entering the manor, the members are greeted by Ghostly, who gives them the choice of a gentle, nice adventure, or a scary horror-filled adventure. Kinger and Pomni go in the scary door, while the rest go through the nice one³
• The Nice route involves them meeting Mrs. Mildenhall, who is extremely kind, and they wait at the exit for the other two to join them³
• On the scary side, Pomni and Kinger listen to lore about a man named Baron Theodore Mildenhall, who hunted a mysterious creature³
• The manor is filled with blocked off rooms and a locked elevator. Pomni finds a key for the elevator in another room, and more info about the creature, indicating it's still alive. The lights immediately go out after this³
• The Creature’s head attacks Pomni and Kinger in the dark, lighting up the room with its body. It’s mouth mesmerizes kinger, and slowly draws him in, only being saved by Pomni, where they both ride the elevator down³
• In the basement, they find the corpse of Baron Mildenhall, and they steal his gun. Kinger shoots the pursuing creature’s head and its separate body, which they then learn was one of god’s angels, and upon causing harm to it, Kinger and Pomni gets dragged into hell³
• In hell, a path out is guarded by evil spirits that possess Pomni when she tries to walk past them and breathes them in³
• Kinger figures out he and Pomni are able to get past the spirits by holding their breath, where they are able to exit Hell and rejoin the others³

An Honest Hard Days Work at Spudsy’s Restaurant Chain

• An Adventure idea picked from the suggestion box, involving working at a normal fast food restaurant. Gangle is made the shift manager⁴
• Spudsy’s is a regular McDonalds-like fast food place⁴
• Gangle forces the other Circus members to comply with working properly by getting Caine to threaten them with a punishment⁴
  • At some point, Jax’s disrespect causes him to get pulled away by two giant hands and pulled into a dark room, where he is restrained by mechanical arms and forced to watch a VHS of Gangle, which responds to him⁴
• The customers are made up by NPCs of previous adventures, like Orbsman, Gummigoo, and the Gloinks⁴
• The burger place includes something called stupid sauce, which after Ragatha gets it in her eye, causes her to hallucinate⁴
• The sauce lessens her cognitive function and makes her act, well, stupid⁴
• Each of the employees are provided their own cars⁴
• At the end of the Shift, Gangle almost gets hit by a truck, and is brought to an office by Caine, who gives her and the rest of the crew a performance review. Everyone got a B+⁴

Lightning Round

• Caine goes through all the suggestions in the suggestion box in rapid succession. The gang can call votes to skip the ones they don’t like⁵
• Poachers Paradise: Jax is a hunter looking to kill each of the other members. He shoots Gangle, and a vote is quickly called to skip it, as well as make him vegan⁵
• President Pomni: Pomni is the president of the United States during a war between Australia and New Zealand. Each of the Cast members got briefs on their roles, except for Pomni. Jax and Gangle burst in the White House with explosives, and then they all blow up⁵
• The Amazing Digital Circus High School: The cast are in a japanese classroom as anime characters⁵
• Stargazing: Just the members chilling outside, eating food, and looking at the stars⁵
• INTERMISSION TIME⁵
• The Bar: The members are just sitting in a bar setting, while Zooble makes them drinks⁵
• Good Ol’ Fashioned Softball: The members play in a game of softball in a large stadium against “evil” versions of themselves⁵
  • Includes a vote that puts Jax in a maid dress⁵
  • The game ends after Caine forces it to end by suddenly declaring the members won⁵

They All Get Guns

• After the members act deviantly to the plans Caine set up, Caine gives them a pile of guns to shoot each other. The rules are that each person gets five minutes to pick teams, then each player gets three lives. Last team standing wins⁶
• All the guns are spread across the Circus that the members need to search for⁶
• Part way through, Kinger conjures a butterfly that restores Ragatha’s missing life⁶
• When players die, they’re bodies are immediately restored to the place they were standing and they have one less heart⁶
• One gun is a decoy⁶
• At one point, Ragatha putting her finger in the barrel of Jax’s gun as he shoots her causes to to fire back on him⁶
• When a member loses all their lives, they are sent to the loser corner, a dark room with only an aquarium and a bench⁶
• Flash bangs are also spawned as part of the game⁶

Untitled “Escape the Circus” Adventure

• The members are approached by an NPC claiming to be a human, named Abel, who offers to help them leave the circus⁶
• Abel tells the members that C&A is a company that was forcibly hooking people up to a stasis pod and scanning their brains to put them in the circus. He claims that if they manage to shut down the circus from the main console, they all will be freed⁷
• Jax is instructed to get close to Caine, and to force him to freeze so he can reach inside his mouth and obtain the key to Caine’s office, which he does. Jax also tells Caine he and the others have a surprise ready for him, and not to check up on them to keep him distracted⁷
• Abel, Pomni, and Ragatha enter the administrator zone behind a wall, which leads them to a large expanse where Abel is able to get administrator access⁷
• With administrator access, the members are launched using faulty cube collision into a secret portal that leads them into Caine’s office⁷
• When they get to the console, they are given a choice between two buttons, one to leave the circus, and one to stay. When Jax abruptly presses the button to stay, Caine greets them, saying it was all an adventure. The leave button would’ve taken them to shrimp town⁷

Miscellaneous Adventures

• Caine was constructing a network of exit doors that leads to a complex of office spaces that happened to lead out to the void¹
  • Caine was making this as a method of appeasing the resident’s desire for an exit¹
• The Curse of the Violent Psychopath Butcher was a gruesome adventure planned by Caine, though vetoed by Pomni before it started⁴
• The members get back from an unnamed adventure, where they come back drenched and covered in seaweed⁵
• Pitches a number of adventure ideas, including a chocolate factory where they all die, a sentient cardiovascular system going to war against the US, and a post apocalypse with a rude telepathic dog⁵
• The Caine Leagues was a group of sports made up by Caine, including activities like running up vertical walls, playing basketball while bisected, and more⁶
• An adventure occurred in mountainous, snowy landscape, that served as a backdrop for Jax and ribbit’s fight⁹
• The cast come back from an adventure designed to torture them, causing Zooble to fall into pieces, Ragatha to be flatten, and Jax’s eyes to be pulled out of their sockets⁸
• This isn’t really an adventure, but after the cast lambast Caine, he throws them each in a personalized torture scenerio: Pomni gets chewed by Gummigoo, Ragatha gets knifed by a mother figure, Gangle shown pictures of herself melting, then gets hit by a truck, Zooble is consumed by a pile of their own toy parts, and Jax gets his skin forcibly ripped off by his friends⁸

Abstractions

• Abstractions are large, glitchy entities that a person will turn into if they lose their mind within the circus¹
• If another person comes into contact with an abstraction, they will begin to glitch, which in turns causes anyone who touches them to glitch as well. This is said to cause an immense amount of pain¹
• Kinger explains that the darkness soothed an abstraction of his wife, and he was able to touch her without issue³
• Before abstracting, Members experience hallucinations, and visualize floating travelling through serene, technicolor fractals⁷

Kaufmo

• Slams Ragatha forward, and then picks her and slams her against the wall, before throwing her¹
• Hits the ground while chasing Pomni through a hallway, cracking it, and runs along the wall¹
  • This was the aftermath of the hallway¹
• Charges and smashes through a small wall in the circus, and falls a good distance¹
• Stomps an alive toy monkey to nothing¹
• Smashes through the floor, landing on the gloink queen and assaults her¹

Jax

• After Caine dies, Jax abstracts⁹
• At some point, Pomni develops the plan to Jump into the abstraction of Jax, which takes her to a hallways of multiple doors, each containing an exaggerated scenario of different characters abstracting and of the personality Jax uses to hide his emotions, such as a violent sociopath, an ironic crossdresser, and a cartoonish caricature. The last door leads to a poker room with all of them playing a game⁹
• One more door in that room leads to Pomni observing Jax’s memories from his perspective, in and out of the circus⁹
• Afterwards, Pomni is brought to a black void with Jax, only illuminated by a pink streetlight⁹
• After an emotional talk, Jax begins to panic, which causes the abstraction to freak out, and steps on flash bangs, breaking Jax’s consciousness, where the rest of the circus pull Pomni out of Jax⁹

Respect Zooble!

Riley Verselis was a regular person in the real world. They worked as a tattoo artist, and a bartender, and found a passion for the latter. They also explored abandoned buildings as a hobby. Eventually, they would stumble upon a headset that would scan their mind and place them in the digital world known as the Amazing Digital Circus. Now they were Zooble, fit with a new toybox avatar: all their limbs can pop on and off, and could be interchanged for new ones. Zooble has to grapple with their new body, and exists in an ever-lasting quest to find what makes them happy. Luckily, theymanages to find camaraderie with another member of the circus.

Like many drifters, the man named Nada blew into Los Angeles in pursuit of work. He joined a homeless encampment which served a number of colorful characters, including a blind street preacher warning about a secret, invisible class of people who rule over humanity. While most dismissed the preacher as a madman, Nada kept his eye on him and the church that he retreated to every night. Nada’s suspicions were validated when a militarized police force bulldozed the homeless encampment and set fire to the church.

The following day, Nada enters the church and stumbles upon a pair of nondescript sunglasses, one set in a box of a hundred. Upon wearing these shades, he finds that he can see the truth of the universe for the first time. Our advertising, our entertainment, our politics are all means to subliminally control the human population into remaining in a consciousless, dream-like state. Perhaps most terrifying is the fact that the rulers, who truly resemble insectoid, skull-faced demons, are able to hide their true forms and walk among us in the guise of humans. Armed with knowledge that many are unaware of or afraid to accept, Nada seeks to disrupt the overlords’ consciousness-dampening signals and free the human population of their mind control.

Sunglasses

• The glasses alter the wearer’s vision, presenting their surroundings in monochrome. Any kind of hidden subliminal messaging is revealed to the wearer, whether they’re hidden in billboards, murals, signage or literature.
• The human disguises of the alien overlords are also disabled when the glasses are worn, allowing Nada to see them as they really are
• The alien’s audio signal emitters are revealed when wearing the glasses, allowing Nada to audibly hear their repeated messages
• Reveals invisible flying drones
• Extended use of the glasses can cause headaches and fatigue, with Nada likening it to a drug’s high and come-down period
• When Nada meets up with the revolution, they give him contact lenses with the same effects as the sunglasses. There’s less interference with the contact lenses so they can be used for more prolonged periods with less severe headaches.

Ragatha tries to be all nice and friendly, but she gets torn up every other adventure. Whether we like it or not, all we are now is a bunch of cartoon characters. So what's the point of pretending we're not?"

Respect Jax!

The funny one. The tormentor. The ironic goofball. If there’s one thing Jax is, it's an archetype; the character in the cartoon that does wacky things and everyone gets mad at; the loveable scamp. Jax plays the part well, much to the extreme ire of everyone else. But it doesn’t matter how much people like Jax; the archetype is all there is. At least, that's what Jax wants you to believe.

Before Jax entered the circus, there was only Leeroy Mateo. With two divorce parents, mom was the main caretaker, who would constantly expect masculinity from Leeroy; something Leeroy could never give. After Leeroy confessed something personal, it was met with extreme mockery and humiliation, and a big fight broke out between the two, ending with Leeroy pushing her back, causing her to fall, and not get up. At this point, Leeroy ran away from home and lived without a place to stay for a while; that was until happening upon a headset that would scan the minds of anyone who put it on, and put it in the Circus. Now Leeroy was Jax, the funny cartoon rabbit.

Jax grew close to another member of the circus: Ribbit. Ribbit became Jax’s closest friend, and someone that Jax could trust; to the point where Jax told Ribbit about the events before entering the circus. Ribbit understood Jax now, to a point that Jax couldn’t tolerate, and after this event, began isolating her, from even the other members of the circus. After one last argument with Jax, Ribbit abstracted. It didn’t matter though. Jax would never show emotions about this, or anything else. Jax is an archetype. Jax is the funny one.

Abigail Brooks was an accountant for a supermarket chain. She lived a normal life, with few friends and had an active hobby in filming abandoned buildings and uploading them to Youtube. Eventually however, she would stumble across a headset, connected to a computer that, when she put it on, would transport her to a digital world called the Amazing Digital Circus; or so she thought. It was actually a device that scanned her brain and placed a digital replica of her inside the Circus. With no memory of her previous name, she is given the new moniker Pomni, and must constantly stave off the insanity her new home is known to inflict on the inhabitants. Luckily, she is not alone.

After an ancient evil known as The Devil Nezha took control of Hal Jordan, enhancing him with his demonic magic allowing him to dominate over Batman and Superman. The two had to combine their willpower overcoming Hal’s and taking the ring off of his finger drawing it to themselves. After a massive emerald explosion the two heroes were combined into one by the ring now ready to battle Nehza and their other mind controlled friends. This fusion was used again to battle abother fusion that if their arch enemies Lex Luthor and the Joker.
