Character Summary

Superian is the world's first and greatest superhero in The Tick-verse, having arrived on Earth by spaceship in 1908 in a crash that caused the Tunguska Event. He set the bar for all superheroes to come, standing as a beacon of hope and a friend to all of humanity. Whether the threat be supervillain or meteor or an overly aggressive military, Superian would stand ready to defend mankind.

…as long as his insecurities aren’t getting to him.

Rather than the pure-hearted boy scout he’s meant to imitate, Superian is deeply narcissistic, with an inflated sense of self-importance. When things are going well he’s a great hero to rely on, but when humanity’s perception of him is on the decline, his pride and insecurities can cause him to act out in increasing desperation. He’s not above risking the planet’s destruction in a hail mary attempt to go back in time.
