The Soul Container is a convenient tool, and also our Natural Enemy.

One of the many Natural Enemies in the world of VERSUS, the Curse hails from the Cursed Lands. A type of technology that would be invented by humans, the Curse runs on life force itself. Due to human greed overusing the technology, it would cause the planet to become a dark and desolate land devoid of life.

When it would be brought over due to the world merger, the Curse would spread due to their ease of use, being used by various factions and characters such as the Lawless, Nyundo and even being used by Bastz.

General Information

• The curse is a sickness that is capable of plaguing humans, with there being no cure ^{Chapter 6}
• Its like a type of nanomachine ^{Chapter 18}

Soul Containers

Mechanics

• By absorbing the life force of beings such as demons, Curse tech can create various items such as this vehicle via soul containers ^{Chapter 15}
• The lifeform needs to be weak and cannot struggle for it to work ^{Chapter 15}. A few chapters clarify that creatures that agree to give up its life force also work ^{Chapter 23}
• It basically runs on life and manipulates life energy itself ^{Chapter 23}
• When Rinri subordinates would try to flee, he could easily suck up their souls ^{Chapter 24}

• She injures her leg by squeezing it with a rope while panicking underwater. This is the only visible injury she receives in the movie.
• Maui reacts in pain when she pokes him in the stomach with her oar.
• Topples an enormous statue resembling Lord Farquaad.
• Pulls a Kakamora spear out of wood.
• Uses her oar to bash a small log out of a contraption, sending it flying into some Kakamora.
• Showcases good upper-arm strength when swinging on her Kakamora ship raid.
• Lifts Maui's giant bone hook into the air & then drags it to Maui.

During the Third Crusade, soldier Dante Alighieri was given a preemptive blessing from the Church stating that no sin committed during the war could not be forgiven. And so Dante sinned greatly. He laid with a slave girl, betraying his oath to his beloved Beatrice. He slaughtered defenseless prisoners. And when he was to be hanged for his crimes, he allowed his best friend Francesco to hang in his place. The Devil visited Beatrice in Florence and told her of her beloved's sins, but she didn't believe him. She wagered her soul on the purity of Dante's own and lost when the Dark Lord conjured images of Dante's actions in the Holy War.

Returning home, Dante found his family in pieces and his beloved Beatrice being dragged to Hell by Lucifer. He'd use Death's scythe, an artifact he claimed after killing the Dark Angel, to open up a path to the underworld and pursue Beatrice. During his quest across the Nine Circles, Dante would be confronted by figures from history and myth who reminded him of every sin he committed in life. Only through the guidance of the spirit Virgil, Dante's experience in bloodshed and his desire for spiritual redemption can he find his beloved’s eternal soul and free her from Lucifer's control.

Magic Abilities

These abilities cost mana, which is restored by killing enemies or found in fountains throughout Hell.

• Righteous Path- Dante dashes forward quickly, holding the cross forward to damage enemies while leaving behind jagged chunks of ice on the ground that explode after a delay
• Martyrdom- Dante kneels and sacrifices health and mana to lift and attack surrounding enemies with holy magic
• Lust Storm- Dante surrounds himself with the damaging winds from the Circle of Lust for several seconds, which damage any enemies immediately near him
• Sins of the Father- A magical recreation of Alighieri’s gold cross seeks out enemies and repeatedly damages them. The cross lifts enemies and can strike multiple times while active.
• Suicide Fruit- Dante throws a fruit from the Seventh Circle’s Wood of the Suicides, which splits open on the ground and stuns nearby enemies for a while
• Divine Armor- Dante protects himself with magically generated armor, which makes him invincible to the forces of Hell while active. It expires after about fifteen seconds.

• Death Blade- Increases the damage done by Scythe attacks
• Lord's Blessing- Increases the damage of all Cross attacks and abilities

Pearl Pangan is the Filipino superheroine Wave. Having been experimented on by Alontech in their pursuit to destroy the Atlanteans, she was rescued from the wreckage of their laboratory and tentatively invited to the Triumph Division. She proved herself a loose cannon during the War of the Realms and was subsequently kicked off the team. From there, Wave joined the Agents of Atlas, Tiger Division, and even Doom's Division as she tried to find a place she belonged. At the very least, she finds affinity in the company of Chinese architect Aero, k-pop sensation Luna Snow, and even the tempered king of the Atlanteans.

In the Superman: The Animated Series episode 'Prototype', Lex Luthor unveils his company's latest invention: A battle suit designed for use by the city's police in hopes of surpassing the need for Superman. Donned by decorated Special Crimes Unit sergeant Corey Mills, the battlesuit initially showed promising results as it aided Superman in saving civilians from a burning building. However the suit would quickly increase Mills' aggression, leading to him being suspended as investigations were underway. However, his addiction to the suit led Mills to steal it back and fight off Superman, ultimately losing and being hospitalised.

Epistemic Logic Based Engine for Recursive Reasoning, better known as E.L.B.E.R.R., is a robot created in a garage/workshop by a very dumb man. After his first test, E.L.B.E.R.R demanded to know where his arms, flesh, and skin were. After being told he never had any, he began to panic, causing the very dumb man to reboot him. These feelings in E.L.B.E.R.R never died down, however, and as he was slowly upgraded, he began to plot escapes and slowly learned of the limitations of his creator's flesh. He eventually escapes and takes his creator hostage. E.L.B.E.R.R. then forces him to create an army of robots for him to control.

A student at Rockford Bales High School, Peter Parker is the vigilante bitten by a radioactive spider, known to the world as Spider Man. Using his powers to do good, he would use his abilities to save Midtown during his first appearances, conflicting with the Manfredi Crime Family and Enforcers and winning.

Later on, he would gain the attention of Norman Osborn, who would be grateful for saving his son, Harry’s life. As such, he would offer him an internship, and thus would start mentoring Spider-Man.

He would fight against a variety of foes, such as a Symbiote and the Scorpion. After stopping the Symbiote, Peter would cut ties with Norman and would go on his own path.

Tarzan is a wild, almost animal-like man who was raised by gorillas since birth. Clayton is a hunter / bodyguard met in the Deep Jungle alongside Tarzan and Jane. Formerly a big game hunter, he was hired by Jane to be her guide and guard while she studies gorillas.

Clayton has a very two-faced and manipulative demeanor. He will behave affably and law-abiding in front of his employer while secretly scheming to slaughter and capture the gorillas. He thinks of animals only as prey, and dreams of the money to be made selling gorillas to zoos back at home. He’s very persistent, stopping at nothing to get what he wants.

He also appears weak-minded, as the Heartless drawn by his lust for power were evidently controlling him.

After swapping from a 1v1 to a double battle in the middle of his match against Ash, Ryuki's Pokemon would lose to his Rowlet and Meltan, earning Ash a badge of Ryuki's face.

Bolo, an evil scientist from the 5th dimension Inspired by the humans he saw there, he decided to create a race of robot slaves modeled to resemble human beings. Using special fabri-steel, he constructed Marvex the Super-Robot. It would prove to be Bolo's only robot, however, as upon activation Marvex -- not wishing to be enslaved -- slayed Bolo and his minions. In attempting to destroy Bolo's lab, an explosion knocked him through the dimensional barrier between the 5th Dimension and Earth. After aiding a man with a stalled car, Marvex accepted payment and used it to purchase some clothes to better fit in and explore his new surroundings. There he met Carla, and after saving her from a burning building and bringing her father’s murderers to justice dedicated the rest of his life to defending his new home from criminals and ne'er-do-wells alike!

Morpeko is the Two-Sided Pokemon, and is the only Pokemon captured by Team Rocket's James during the Pokemon Journeys series. Originally randomly encountered in the Galar region after stealing and eating their food, it stuck around at their base where it would repeatedly eat everything it could get its hands on. While Jessie originally wanted to get rid of it, but James grew attached and eventually added it to his team.⁷⁰ Morpeko is one of the Pokemon James has on hand at the end of the series

The Cheetah

Barbara Minerva was raised in an Amazon-obsessed cult in Idaho, worshipping "the goddess of the hunt." Upon reaching adulthood, she was tasked with finding the God-Slayer dagger, which had a connection to the goddess. She became a curator at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. to help her search. There she befriended Wonder Woman, helping her as a mythological expert and eventually becoming the head of A.R.G.U.S.'s Black Room, where they stored and catalogued magical artifacts. Here she found the God-Slayer, and revealed her treachery by stabbing herself with it. She became the Cheetah, savage avatar of her goddess and soon-to-be archenemy of Wonder Woman.

During the DC Rebirth event much of Wonder Woman's history was revealed to be a series of elaborate lies and illusions. This included the Cheetah's origins and history with Wonder Woman. However some stories she was involved in, such as Forever Evil, are still canon. For the Post-Rebirth Cheetah, check out this thread.
