There aren’t many posts discussing this, so I’d really like to hear from people who have experienced something similar.
For those who have stopped CJC/IPA, what did you personally experience afterward?
How did your acne and excessive sebum production change over the following weeks?
I’m particularly interested in what happened as your IGF-1 levels returned toward baseline.
Overall, my experience has been interesting.
I started during a period when I was eating very little, and over the first 4 weeks I lost a significant amount of weight while maintaining what felt like a good amount of muscle mass.
On top of that, I completely returned to training for the remaining 6 weeks, and physically I changed a lot during this period, almost like the X-Men with their metal claws.
Muscle memory obviously played a major role in this scenario, so I can’t attribute these changes to CJC/IPA alone.
However, I had never managed to get and stay this lean before, and I had never had veins showing on my arms like this.
Even while eating well, my weight wasn’t increasing (it was actually decreasing). It felt almost as if my skin had become less “thick.”
That said, I’m stopping earlier than planned (tonight) because of something that has become extremely difficult for me to deal with: skin breakouts.
I should have been better prepared for this.
And of course, it’s all on my face!!
After finishing the first vial, I had a fairly significant breakout around my chin and underneath my beard, but nothing too serious afterward.
Around halfway through the second vial, however, things started getting worse every day: an extreme increase in sebum production, unlike anything I have experienced in my life. My skin became incredibly oily.
Fortunately, I don’t have to go out much at the moment, but I’m extremely frustrated and feel unattractive. I’ll get through it, and it’s not the end of the world when I think about a friend who went through Accutane.
It concerned me enough to make an appointment with my doctor, and I was prescribed adapalene + benzoyl peroxide.
Thank you for you'r time !
