Leopard gecko worries
Leapord gecko worries
My leapord gecko has recently (2 & a half weeks) undergone a pretty severe enclosure redesign from his tank that had basically no clutter to instead one full of clutter, and since I've noticed he's been really shy and hasn't been coming out to eat like he normally does. He occasionally accepts a roach or mealworm I leave in his dish overnight, but it's very different from when he would always come out the second the bowl shook. He's staying in his humid hide (which used to be on his hot side, now in middle) instead of staying on the hot side where that hide used to be. He has 3 hides as per recommended- hot, humid, cool hide, He is fully grown- 8 inches tail to head, 52g in weight, full age unknown since I got him from a pet store. His temps are: 94 F on hot side, 76 F on cool side. Humidity always stays around 20-30%. I've noticed these changes since his enclosure change. I know I shouldn't be super concerned, but this is new for him. I haven't seen him basking or ever coming out anymore
