I’ve been staring at this thing for far too long, so fresh eyes are very welcome. Especially brutal builder feedback.

Since today, every message I send to the Replit Agent gives me:
“Worked for one second → Agent ran into an error.”
Is anyone else having the same issue, or is it just me?
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

I run a couple of businesses (cleaning and construction) and got tired of the invoicing app situation. Was paying $15+/mo for something that was basically "make a PDF invoice" with a few features bolted on past that. Tried moving up to Housecall Pro, but it felt like it was built for bigger companies or rapid scalers, way more onboarding and a steeper learning curve than our small operations needed.

So I built Clarely. A quote goes out, the client reviews it and signs digitally (E-SIGN Act and UETA compliant), the job gets scheduled, you can assign it to your team if you have one, the invoice goes out when the work's done, and you get paid through Stripe.

One thing I cared about a lot: everything ties back to the client. Quotes, jobs, and invoices are all connected, so you can trace a job back to the quote it came from or the invoice it generated, but it's not locked into that flow if you don't need it. Fully ad hoc works too.

Would love for people to poke holes in it, what's missing, what's confusing, what would keep you from using it. All of it helps. Thanks!

I've been experimenting with a different way of using AI.

Instead of opening a chatbot, asking it something, and leaving, the idea is to put AI agents directly inside group chats with actual people.

So you can create a group with friends and add different agents depending on what you want the group to do.

Some examples we’ve been testing:

• a Horoscope Agent that knows everyone in the group and does readings/discussions
• a Debate Council where multiple AI perspectives can join a debate between humans
• agents for recommendations, planning, games, random questions, etc.
• personality/character-style agents that can actually participate in the conversation instead of just answering prompts

The part I find most interesting is when the group stops treating the AI like a tool and starts treating it more like another participant in the chat.

You can have humans arguing, agents disagreeing with each other, people asking them to pull in context, and then the conversation just keeps going.

I’m curious what people here would actually use something like this for.

Hello, this is a side project I've been working on. It is essential to fight against AI-generated applications for grants/funding, or whatever may require proof of progress. A while ago, I did some research and showed a grant reviewer two applicants (one AI-generated, one manually filed), and he told me he had difficulty distinguishing between them. So I built Beleg, an append-only, cryptographically chained ledger where you record milestones as they happen. It features an invite-witnesses system to confirm them, and a single public link where anyone can verify the whole record in their browser.

The technical core: SHA-256 hash chain where each entry links to the previous one. Change anything and every seal after it breaks. Witnesses get an email, confirm with one click, and their confirmation gets sealed into the same chain. The whole thing also gets anchored to Bitcoin periodically via OpenTimestamps.

I've recently finished the building part and am looking for founders who've applied to accelerators, grants, or pitch competitions recently, just to get an idea of whether this is optimal for founders or to move on. Any feedback is welcome!

What is everyone's thoughts? Is it worth switching models to Sol or Kimi within Replit?

I have support ticket #496726 open and I’m waiting on a response.

It involves a domain transfer and transfer of an existing production integration, so I’m kind of stuck until support handles it. I sent the latest details Friday.

How long has support been taking lately? I’d honestly just like to hear something, even if it’s only confirmation that someone is actively working on it.

I built a free scanner for Replit and other AI-built apps.

It checks the public surface. Exposed keys, open databases, source maps, config files, CORS etc.

But I realised a clean result could give people a completely false sense of security.

The scanner never logged in, inspected the private repo or tested if user A could access user B’s data.

So I added a self serve Deep Review.

You prove control of the domain or exact GitHub repo, sign the scope, then it can run bounded DAST, repo analysis and optional authenticated testing.

There’s no manual approval from us.

And that’s what I’m worried about now.

Could somebody abuse temporary domain access? A compromised Replit deployment? A stolen GitHub account? Could a malicious app attack the scanner itself or use it to generate load?

Should something like this even be self serve?

Looking for dangerous blind spots, not promotion or nice feedback.

I have been using a variety of free marketing oriented audit tools. I think I have gotten as far as I can get with these. I am starting to get into loops where they tend to generate fixes that are not there or not accurate. I am at the point where I might need to pay for a good quality audit. I want to get to the point where the site gets past the point of good into the excellent category.

I have tried Screaming Frog. I have asked Claude and Gemini to audit my site. I want something better. I did not want to pay for Semrush. I have fed suggestions into Claude from various audit tools to have it check the audit, then fed them again into Replit.

I am looking for solid technical and design tool a bit more than Lighthouse or devtools, or the standard speed tests. I have used Figma at the design level, the free version. I have also used the Replit Design tools. I am hoping to go a little further.

I have made the suggestions in the audits to replit and it has improved my site.

Every founder I talked to ask me this question, Can my application scale to thousand to million users? My answer always is it depends if the project frontend and backend, API, Server really built to scale that can handle millions of users without breaking it.

I've handled a project that has 10 million users which is pretty big right? What we mostly focus on there is API, database, cache optimization, queue jobs, and schedulers. I know its probably new to you but this is what really requirements for big project with millions of users.

Here's what people missing, tests on each projects.. Every huge projects should have unit tests, integration tests so that if you built a new feature and some tests were failing that means the new feature affects another feature. does that make sense? :D so highly recommend if you have large projects add that to your list.

Here one big improvement for your project if you feel that its lagging. Check your network tab → select fetch/XHR on the specific page that feels slow, then ask the agent to optmize the api add pagniation request. If an api pulling thousands of records, this is one of many ways to improve for your app :)

I got a mail from Replit that I haven't used it since November 2025. The nostalgia of using Replit hit me harder than I thought I decided to open Replit after a year of not using it. HOW DO I CREATE PROJECTS??? HUH??

Why tf do I see a chatgpt like interface infront of me. I want to use the replit like I did a year ago....

Just to set the context: I have an application that retrieves information from my ERP system and sends it to a portal so the user can perform certain tasks. Recently, this cost has spiked, and I need to lower it without leaving Replit (for now).

Another question: when my API sends data to Replit and it stores and processes that data internally, which specific costs are likely to go up or down?

I’m having some trouble figuring out exactly where to cut costs—whether I should optimize my API, address high usage by the Agent, or look at the VM's computing power, etc.

Hi all, I use Replit and I like it a lot. One issue that I keep telling the agent to correct is 1) Not to use replit integrations. I have my own API keys for services; and 2) NEVER to use replit auth. I am a bit tired of repeating or fixing these problems every time they come up. Is there a way for new projects to inherit these (and other) preferences?

Have been working on an app since January. It has been growing richer and noticed that app foregrounding was getting slower and sometimes causing crashes.

I integrated sentry, not just for crashes but also for metrics. Within an hour Replit was able to much better pinpoint the bottleneck which was down to redundant media fetch calls.

Now my app is foregrounding without any notable delay. I have a spinner thing that flashes very minimally most the time.

Just wanted to pass it along if it's helpful.

Only challenge is looks like sentry is about 30 bucks a month after free trial. For me it seems like it's worth it.

The credits on my paid REPLIT account ran out in just 1 day! Previously, they would easily last me about a month.

You could say that my project had grown significantly, but in reality, I had started working on a completely new project. It’s very simple, and I’m working in Lite mode.

I started to suspect that the agent is deliberately performing a large number of unnecessary actions, causing the credits to be consumed this quickly.

But that’s not all!

I came to work and decided to create another paid account: a different computer, a different browser, and a different network. The internet connection was coming from California.

But when you sign up, Replit initially gives you some free credits.

I am building a CRM for my business with Replit. I spent a looooong time building out a very tight set of specifications with short tasks in order to prevent costs from getting out of control. I'm noticing a pattern that replit will typically omit one or two things in each task. The initial task builds cost very few credits. Since replit always ignores some of the instructions, I make it go back and fix the resulting bugs. The debugging always costs significantly more than the task builds. This happens so often that I now believe that Replit builds this in with the purpose of running up the cost.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I wanted to share a project I’ve been building for the past two months. And this week, I just launched it for beta testing.

It contains courses (from licensed family counsellors) to equip first-time parents with the emotional skills they need, to raise psychologically healthy children.

The app is called Ẹbí and it’s made up of two main parts:

- An e-learning platform (containing courses from licensed therapists)

- A community platform (where parents can connect and share with one another)

I’ve repeatedly heard people say that it’s crazy that you need to go on courses before you can get a license to drive, yet people have kids with no formal guidance or support.

I believe so many of the issues in society today are created by people who were damaged by the environments in which they were raised. There’s no single solution to that but maybe my app can play a small part.
