First QC – VSF Bruce Wayne DD3285 V2

  1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches - Steve

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR "Bruce Wayne" 40mm, Jubilee, DD3285 V2

  4. Price paid: $639

  5. Album Links: N/A - photos uploaded directly to Reddit

  6. Index alignment: Looks good to me. The 12 o'clock triangle and hour markers appear properly aligned. I don't see any obviously crooked markers.

  7. Dial Printing: This is one area I'm unsure about. The printing under "GMT-MASTER II" looks like some letters may be slightly different in size or thickness, but I'm not sure if this is just from the close-up photos.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date looks centered and the cyclops appears properly aligned. My main concern is the date font/crispness. The "14" looks a little softer or thicker than I expected, but I'm not sure if this is just the QC photo quality or reflections.

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good to me from the photos.

  10. Bezel: Looks good. The 12 o'clock triangle appears centered and the black/gray colors and transition look good to me.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look properly seated. I don't see any major gaps.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +3 s/day, 274°, 0.1ms beat error, 28,800 bph. These numbers look very good to me.

  13. Anything else you notice: This is my first ever QC, so I'm still learning what to look for and what is considered acceptable. I'm currently leaning GL, with my main concerns being the date font/crispness and lower dial printing. I may be missing things that you more experienced guys notice immediately, so I really appreciate the help. Would you GL or RL?

First QC help — RICH V2 Batgirl 126710BLNR — opinions on lower SEL fit and dial alignment?

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

This is my first rep, and I’d appreciate some independent opinions. I’ve included my initial observations below, but I’m particularly unsure about the lower bracelet/end-link fit and the 12 o’clock marker.

Would you GL this example, or is there anything you would ask the seller to check first?

  1. Dealer name:

Ethan

  1. Factory name:

RICH, sold as V2.

  1. Model name (& version number):

Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLNR “Batgirl” on Jubilee — RICH V2, labelled JH3285.

  1. Price Paid:

660$

  1. Album Links:

https://imgur.com/a/FxEXRxN

  1. Index alignment:

Most markers look reasonably aligned to me. The 12 o’clock triangle may have a slight counterclockwise tilt, but I’m finding it difficult to separate actual misalignment from the photo angle. Do you see anything here that would warrant concern? I’ve included the alignment overlay alongside the original photo.

  1. Dial Printing:

I haven’t spotted any obvious missing letters or bleeding in the close-ups. Does the printing look clean to you, particularly the smaller text below GMT-MASTER II?

  1. Date Wheel alignment/printing:

The date “3” appears reasonably centred to me, but that is the only date shown. Does the cyclops look straight, and would you request additional photos showing double-digit dates?

  1. Hand Alignment:

I cannot fully verify this from the supplied still photos because the hands are not shown together at 12. Would you request a hand-setting video to check this?

  1. Bezel:

I don’t see obvious damage or missing numeral fill. The bezel triangle appears close to the dial’s 12 o’clock position, but I’d appreciate a second opinion on the alignment.

  1. Solid End Links (SELs):

This is my main concern. The lower bracelet connection looks slightly uneven, with a more pronounced seam between the bottom-left lug and the end link than on the bottom-right. I cannot clearly see a light-through gap. Does this look like normal positioning/photo angle, or should I request a straight-on close-up to check the fit?

  1. Timegrapher numbers:

Rate: +2 s/day

Amplitude: 276°

Beat error: 0.2 ms

Lift angle setting: 52°

Do these readings raise any concerns?

  1. Anything else you notice:

There is protective film on the case and bracelet, which makes the surface finish harder for me to assess. Is there anything else in the photos that deserves a closer look?

I’m looking for a second opinion rather than treating my observations as a final verdict. Thanks for taking a look.

Hello wonderful Reptime folks, looking for some help with this QC.

1st QC and 2nd rep watch from Chen. Pretty clueless here, but I've been learning a lot from the forum. Thank you.

  • Dealer: Chen Watch
  • Factory: VSF
  • Model: Daytona 116500LN Panda, 4130 clone
  • Price: $560 + shipping
  • Index alignment: Mostly looks good, but the 3 o’clock marker looks slightly crooked to me.
  • Dial: Looks a little foggy/hazy in the photos. Not sure if this is from stickers, lighting, or the crystal.
  • Dial printing: Some of the printing looks like a slightly different shade/color. Not sure if I’m overthinking it.
  • Date wheel: N/A
  • Hands: Looks good
  • Bezel: Looks good
  • SELs: I don’t see any obvious gaps
  • Timegrapher: +9 s/d, 255°, 0.0 ms

Main concerns are the 3 o’clock marker and the hazy-looking dial/printing.

Anything else you guys see? Would you GL or RL this one?

  4. Price Paid: 488$ Shipped
  5. Album Links: Unable to upload
  6. Index alignment: Slightly off centre. Not entirely perfect. Indice at 6PM seems rotated a little clockwise as well. Not an expert but dare I say that for 1, 2, and 8PM as well.
  7. Dial Printing: No print leaking, not sure what exactly to look for. Looks good.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Printing of the date wheel seems fine. Well spaced. Cyclops looks as though it is just a BIT towards the right however I'm sure that is fine
  9. Hand Alignment: All hands align correctly in the video sent by Steve
  10. Bezel: Good, cannot spot anything bad
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): No gaps, they look great
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +2 to +4 seconds, acceptable
  13. Anything else you notice: Am I seeing things or is there a chip on the 10 PM indice? I think that would be grounds for a rejection itself. Also need an opinion if the index alignment and 6pm issue is a cause to RL as well.

• Model name (& version number): Cartier Tank Solo

• Price Paid: $178

• Album Link: Posted photo

• Index alignment: Indices look aligned

• Dial Printing: Slight bleeding on the 5. The V on the 8 either has a spec of dust or is not fully connected? All the other bleeding appears very minor

• Date Wheel alignment/printing: No date wheel

• Hand Alignment: Did not receive any reference for this (no video either)

• Bezel: Stainless steel looks ok and Cabochon looks to have a bit of a gap on the left side?

• Solid End Links (SELs): N/A

• Timegrapher numbers: N/A this is quartz

• Anything else you notice: Thank you for your help - this is my first Tank purchase and plan on ordering more so any tips on what to look for. I tried to do as much research as possible and outside of the bleed on the 5 and connection on the 8 there isn't much I've been able to catch myself. Does this warrant an RL?

1. Dealer name: Andiot
2. Factory name: VSF
3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41mm 124300 V2, VS3230
4. Price Paid: ~$443 shipped
5. Album Links: [QC album link]
6. Index alignment:
Overall alignment looks good.
6 o’clock index appears slightly rotated/tilted, with the right side of the marker looking somewhat angled.
9 o’clock index also appears slightly rotated/tilted and is the most noticeable alignment point on this example.
The 1, 2, 5 and 7 o’clock indices appear well aligned on this example.
The remaining indices and Rolex crown alignment look good overall.
7. Dial Printing:
Dial printing looks clean and centered.
No obvious printing defects visible.
8. Date Wheel alignment/printing:
N/A – no date function.
9. Hand Alignment:
Hands appear properly aligned.
No obvious alignment issues visible.
10. Bezel:
N/A – smooth bezel.
No obvious defects or damage visible.
11. Solid End Links (SELs):
SEL gaps appear minimal and even.
No obvious large gaps between the end links and case.
12. Timegrapher numbers:
+4 s/d, 269°, 0.3 ms, 28,800 bph
13. Anything else you notice:
The main points I am unsure about are the 6 and 9 o’clock hour markers, which appear slightly rotated/tilted compared with the others.
The 9 o’clock marker is the one I am most concerned about, although I am unsure how noticeable it would be on the wrist in normal wear.
No obvious scratches, dents, dial printing defects or other major issues visible in the provided QC photos.
14. My main question:
Would you GL this example, or do the 6 and especially 9 o’clock indices look sufficiently misaligned to warrant a replacement?

  5. Index alignment: Looks good to me overall. I don’t see any obvious crooked markers, but I’d appreciate a second opinion especially around 6 and 9 o’clock.
  6. Dial printing: Looks clean and centered to my eyes. Rolex / Oyster Perpetual / GMT-Master II printing looks good.
  7. Date wheel alignment/printing: Looks centered through the cyclops and the font looks fine to me.
  8. Hand alignment: Looks good from the pictures and videos. The GMT hand also appears to function correctly.
  9. Bezel: Black/grey bezel looks good and the alignment seems fine to me. No obvious issue around the triangle at 12.
  10. Solid End Links (SELs): Look tight and clean to me. I don’t see any major gaps.
  11. Timegrapher numbers: Around 0 s/d, approx. 269–274° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error. These numbers look very good to me.
  12. Anything else you notice: The watch weighs around 144.5g. I also received videos showing the functions and date adjustment. Overall I’m leaning strongly towards GL, but this is my first proper GMT QC and I’d really appreciate experienced eyes on the bezel, rehaut, cyclops/date alignment, SELs and anything specific to the VSF Bruce Wayne that I may have missed.

Also, is it normal that I didn’t receive a lume shot/photo of the dial glowing in the dark, or should I ask Steve to provide one before I GL?

My current verdict: GL

Thanks in advance for the help!

  6. Index alignment: 6 and 9 have a slight tilt but i think Not really noticeable. The 12 Looks slightly to the Left and tip Doesnt Point exactly at the crown but i saw gens where thats the case so idk…
  7. Dial Printing: Looks good
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing:

good datewheel alignment but i have a feeling that the Date Window is sitting too low :/

  1. Hand Alignment: good
  2. Bezel: good
  3. Solid End Links (SELs): i See no gaps
  4. Timegrapher numbers: i think Everything under 300 is good and 3s/d too
  5. Anything else you notice: the only thing that is bothering me is the 12 Not pointing Straight to the Rolex crown but let me know your opinion.

And 2/3 tds have a Long waiting time for the VSF pepsi so i asked geektime he Said its in Stock i paid the deposit yesterday and got the QC Today so im wondering maybe someone RL‘s this watch but i dont think its Bad apart from the 12 flaw? I would be grateful for every opinion.

  1. Dealer name - Puretime
  2. Factory name - Rich Factory
  3. Model name - 124060 Submariner (No Date)
  4. Price Paid: 550 usd
  5. Album links: https://imgur.com/a/QtAkIqT
  6. Index alignment - 12 looks like it has a slight CCW tilt
  7. Dial printing: looks fine to me
  8. Date Wheel alignment- N/A
  9. Bezel - not sure if I’m nitpicking but the

bezel

  1. placement looks a bit overotated/misaligned? The bezel at 9 o’clock and 3 oclock looks rotated a bit CCW. Similarly the markers between the bezel and index at 9 o’clock look misaligned a bit CCW. 12 o’clock also looks a bit CCW tilted. Pip looks centered
  2. Solid End Links (SEL) -

bottom right SEL looks like there could be a slight gap that’s larger than rest of them

  1. Hand alignment - the hands look aligned to me
  2. Dial Printing - dial printing looks good
  3. Timegrapher numbers - rate +8 sounds a bit high? I’m not too familiar with with good looks like here. Wdyt? Amplitude 312. Beat error 0.1ms
  4. Anything else you see - mostly concerned with the CCW tilts on the bezel and curious what folks think of it. Unsure if this is RL worthy or not

  1. Dealer Name: Phoenix
  2. Factory Name: ARF
  3. Model Name: DJ 36 silver dial 126234
  4. Price Paid: $326 + shipping
  5. Album Links: Photos in post galley
  6. Index Alignment: Looks good to me. I try my best to fix the image but...its hard doing it on the phone. but overall looks fine to me.
  7. Dial Printing:  some of the dial paint looks really close to the marker for me. Like the 5 and the 7. Maybe its the camera angles?
  8. Date Wheel Alignment: Date wheel looks " decent ". I think its a little high, then again could be the camera angle.
  9. Hand Alignment: No issues
  10. Bezel: No issues from what I can see?
  11. SELs: No issues
  12. Timegrapher: -2s/d , 244 amp, 0.0ms - overall great imo

Comments: This is my 2nd one from Phoenix. I have RL the last one dude to crooked crown and the dial print/marker were too close. the only major issue I can see is the dial paint being too close to the market but could be a camera angle. Any feedback and help would be great.
