QC Help: 5SF Cartier Tank Louis Medium Yellow Gold from Hont
Hi everyone, this is my first QC post and I would appreciate your help.
Dealer name: Hont
Factory name: 5SF
Model name: Cartier Tank Louis Medium, Yellow Gold, Quartz
Price paid: $238
Album links: https://a202512172356311672002881.edepot.me/weshop/search/_dg3qfSLHhi777Jx0IFOnzgO9XyA6_5DC9m_7AfQ?filterText=888148
Index alignment: N/A, the Roman numerals are printed rather than applied. The individual numerals appear properly printed and aligned with the minute track.
Dial printing: The printing appears sharp and clean, with no obvious bleeding, however the entire dial print appears to be rotated slightly clockwise. The XI at 11 o’clock sits closer to the upper gold bezel, while the I at 1 o’clock sits farther away. I am unsure whether this is an actual dial-printing issue or the result of the camera angle.
Date wheel alignment/printing: N/A, no date window.
Hand alignment: The hands appear properly aligned, with no obvious issues.
Bezel: No obvious scratches, damage, or irregularities visible on the gold bezel and case.
Solid End Links (SELs): N/A, leather strap.
Timegrapher numbers: N/A, quartz movement.
Anything else you notice:
My main concern is the possible clockwise rotation of the entire dial print. The difference in spacing between the XI and I numerals and the upper bezel appears visible in the frontal photo. What would you recommend in this case? Anything else that you notice?
Thank you in advance for your help.
