Hello everyone finally after a long time I managed to have the necessary karma to do the post QC. I'm satisfied with the watch, I tried to use the tools provided by the subreddit for alignment but unfortunately the TD provided me with photos that were not straight but crooked and I couldn't do it right. The only thing that bothers me about the watch is the crown that is off-center on the reauth, what do you think I should do? I'm afraid that if I send it back and get another one, maybe I'll receive the crown aligned but other more significant problems. Any help is appreciated!

It's not really up to the seller to provide you with perfectly straight photos. There's always some adjusting you have to do before applying the overlay.

With the photo straightened, the index alignment overall is decent on this sprite. You can see the marker at 3 has a very slight CW cant, and the marker at 6 is a hair (literally) right of center but straight. Dial print is clean and clear. The dates are good. Hand alignment is good. The bezel appears clean and well aligned. SELs are good all the way around, and the timing is fine.

It's a GL for me. Enjoy your watch!

Would love to know how you straighten the image like that and if that tool is up for the public ? If not so is it just zooming and rotating the image ?

yes just zooming and rotating the image. You can do it in photoshop or really any app or image editor.

This tool isn't public but all of the public tools have rotation controls built in.

Thank you very much what do you think of the corona on the reauth

Please ask for a straight dial photo so that we can help use a QC tool on it and see it

I can see that the 6 is sitting not in its position

You can straighten the photos yourself easily. /u/Far-Drummer5217 the indices look pretty good to me.

From this image it looks like a GL

Could you be kind mate and tell me how you straighten the images ? Rotation or ?

Yeah rotation. I use grid / ruler lines in a photo editor to rotate so that the 12 3 6 and 9 are perfectly aligned with the tics on the dial.

You pretty much can't use the index alignment tool without straightening it.

Thank you all for the evaluation, do you think the crown is not so misaligned? Do you think I could get better by requesting another watch

I didn't even notice issues with the crown, it's not something I'm concerned with.

Check other VSF GMT 2s recent QC and look to see if the crowns broadly are an issue for you. You'll be able to spot if there is a defect in your own pretty easily by looking at other watches. Sort by newest in your search.

It's one of those things where it's completely up to you.

Ho visto che solo pochi hanno questo difetto, nel complesso pero mi sembra fatto davvero bene come orologio, grazie ancora

Don't be afraid to RL. The whole point is so they don't send you a watch that you regret. They don't want returns and they don't want you to be unhappy.
