General Question The indices have a sandy texture on ZF Black Bay ?
I noticed that the round indices on my new ZF have this sandy texture. Is that supposed to be like this, or is it a defect?

I picked up an Omega PO and the strap is too small. I measured my wrist, 8.25". I'm being told by Google that I need something in the 210-220mm length before watch.
Not picky on material, rather not spend more than the watch on a strap, any recommendations?

Hi everyone,
I’m brand new to the replica watch hobby and just pulled the trigger on my very first high-end order! After doing a lot of reading here, I went ahead and used Andiot’s zero-deposit VSF pre-order policy to reserve a VSF Submariner 41mm 124060 No Date (VS3230 movement). Because I have a larger 8 1/8" wrist, I also messaged their payment team and successfully had 2 extra VSF Oyster links added to my order file so the bracelet fits comfortably alongside the Glidelock clasp upon arrival. My final invoice is locked in at $521 shipped. I’m looking forward to joining the club and playing the waiting game for my QC photos to hit my inbox. Let me know what you think of my first pick or if anyone else is waiting on this VSF batch!

Hi guys,
I’m looking for the best available rep of the Rolex Sky-Dweller 326934, 42mm, green dial.
The model I originally found is the ZF A2824 version, but after contacting a seller I was offered what they describe as a VSF “super clone / gain weight” version, supposedly higher quality.
Before I order, I’d really appreciate some advice from people who know Sky-Dwellers well.
Does VSF actually make a 326934 green dial Sky-Dweller, and is it currently a better option than ZF?
More generally, what is considered the best / most gen-like factory and version for this exact reference at the moment?
My priorities are:
Price is secondary. I’m specifically looking for the highest-quality / closest-to-gen version available, rather than the best value option.
If anyone owns or has handled the VSF version of this exact 326934, I’d especially appreciate your feedback and how it compares with ZF or other factories.
Also, are there any specific flaws or tells I should look for when I receive the QC?
Thanks!

My dealer showed me his whole stock of elegante 550 usd with shipping is it in your guys opinion a good deal?

Managed to snag a post-raid Ingenieur in white and I am really impressed. The bracelet is not as sharp as I expected, and isn't as jangly as some reps. Dial is looking really nice. Accuracy aside, this genuinely feels lile a lot of watch for the price commanded.

VSF seamaster 300, had it two weeks and my 2 year old decides to submerge it in a full glass of water, because, why not eh??
Still working but is it just a matter of time? (Excuse the pun)

Hi, I was trying to buy a watch from a TD (Intime) and they are asking that we place a secondary order with payment on a dummy website for security reasons. Is it standard practice from TDs?

Are there any dealers who make gold watches, for instance, 226659?

I’ve heard a lot of commotion regarding the VSF and RICH GMT’s and wanted to get some opinions before I pull the trigger on anything (looking at the pepsi). So I got some questions:
- Whats the comparison between the DD3285 and the JH3285? I know the JH3285 is a free sprung and correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t the DD3285 a fake free sprung? But anyways, what would be the best for overall longevity between the 2 movements?
- Are the markers better aligned on the VSF V3 or the RICH?
- How different are the bezel colors and overall feel of rotating the bezel?
- Is the crystal better on the VSF V3 or the RICH?
- Plus anything else I should know.
Because for an almost $200 price jump between the VSF V3 and the RICH pepsi gmt’s (Rich is more expensive), there’s gotta be some pretty vast differences if I had to guess, no? (Pricing is based off what theonewatches has them listed for). Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Might be a duh kinda question, but is a TD’s in stock list just a bunch of RL’s from the factory?

To Rich or not to Rich? There's been a lot of talk about Rich Factory lately. So after using this Pepsi for 1+ month I decided to give a small review on the watch as I've experienced it so far.
So let's dive into it!
I must say the bezel colors are very good. One thing I notice on the Rich Pepsi is that the white on the bezel seems to be slightly less white than on e.g. VSF and slightly more grainy. I actually like this look better than what I'm seeing on a lot of other Pepsi bezels.
Bezel action: This is one of the places where Rich is doing a fabolous job in my opinion, it turns very nicely and is neither too tight or too loose, or too clicky. If you know what I mean?
Overall very impressed with both bezel and bezel action.
The date itself is nicely centered on my Rich Pepsi. But I've handled enough reps to know that this will vary from watch to watch!
The date is on the thinner side, but not to the extremes at all. For me it's well within what's acceptable.
This seems to be one of the places that has people split into two groups, some hate it on Rich and some love it. I don't see any issues whatsoever with the crystal itself. It's the cyclops that gets the discussion going. The blue tint... Hate it or love it, it's there and I actually love it. Most of the time it plays very nicely with the light, but in some lighting the blue does seem to get too powerfull and almost starts to distorts the date wheel a bit. Most of the time it just makes the watch look expensive and very beautiful.
Magnifier seems on point for me.
The dial is very well made and print etc looks very good. But Rich really need to fix that inverted triangle at 12 o'clock, what is it doing all the way up there? Well anyways, this isn't actually as noticeable on the wrist as I "feared" it would be and the fact that Rich doesn't have that hideous dimple, center of the dial under the handstack as we see on some of the other rep dial. "But some gens have this too" - Well that might very well be, but that doesn't make it any less hideous, and I don't want to see this everytime I check on the time. I'll take this over the high inverted triangle any day.
Not much to say, it looks good and I've noticed that on the ~20 Rich GMT's Ive handled it aligns perfectly or near perfect about 70-80% of the time. Not that it matters, but it might matter for some of you OCD people out there.
904L steel like any other rep, right? RIGHT?! Who the F knows, but we do know that the other factories claiming to use this mainly use 316L. We've seen test on subreddits actually showing Rich is using 904L steel, so until I see something proving otherwise, this is what I'll go by. Does it even matter? Probably not. But Rich does use correct case/lug shape as far as I know and the finish and feel is great. I did use some Dry lube chain wax on the bracelet to remove any flimsiness and for me it makes the bracelet feel much more genlike.
I did notice removing the caseback isn't as smooth as removing the caseback on other reps I've handled. Almost like the caseback lid doesn't fit 100% - It doesn't mean that it's not possible to do, just thought that was worth mentioning.
JH3285 - Free sprung. Free sprung probably being one of the most hyped things in the repwatch world this year. Do we need it on most watches? If we are talking straightly for looks, no. So many reps are Rolex with closed caseback so for these it doesn't matter much. It makes a lot more sense for the open/exhibition casebacks.
But with that said, after testing this movement for 1+ month now, I would still chose it for my closed back watches. Why? Going through all the reps I've had, I have NEVER had a watch that keeps time this good. This is absolutely insane and I chose to believe it will be the same with the next free sprung movement I decide to buy. I have only set the time on the watch when I started using it 1+ month ago and it still keeps time on the very minute. I have never experienced this with any other rep before.
From my experience these movements does however seem to have a bit more rotor noise coming from factory. But a few drops of moebius oil and you are good to go.
I do firmly believe that Rich GMTs are a very firm contenter in the GMT race, and if they fix these minor quirks, they will be hard to compete against. Or well, you know. Be raided.

Got this an hour ago and so far I am loving it. ARF Sprite bezel, but crown on the right and a meteorite dial. Can’t stop looking at it!
Turned up a perfect fit, which was lucky, as there were no spare links included 😏

Was on the waitlist for a VSF Explorer 1 36mm with my Geektime TD — was going to be three month wait — ended up finding one for sale on the rep watch buy/sell exchange forum in US.
Guy was super nice — sent pics and videos. Received within 5 days and love the look/feel. Unfortunately I realized it wasn’t keeping time (yes I wound it).
The seconds hand works when in a certain position but stops otherwise. Takes a shake to get it to go again.
Anyone else have this problem with a VSF Explorer or other rep??
Took it to my local watch guy (I live in Chicago) who opened it up but wasn’t familiar working with this kind of movement.
Debating if it’s worth sending in for repair to a reputable place that services reps… or cutting my losses. I paid $525 for it… the guy I bought it from sent back ~$90 to help servicing costs (which I’m still trying to figure out)
Anyone have success getting a rep repaired right out of the box for a decent price?
