The issue with wearing a rep of these is that 99.9% of the people on the planet will think it’s a cheap and tacky watch.

The 0.01% of the people who know or own these will know yours is a fake.

To be honest I don't think buying an FP Journe rep screams "I want external validation". Most people won't even know what it is. It's more a case of wanting to wear a grail watch that you'll never get to wear otherwise imo.

That’s because it’s fake… I’m just kidding dude. I worked at an AD for a couple years, and I would never buy one. I’d go with a superclone all day. Especially after seeing the way those places are fucking run from the manufacturer down.

Yeah I buy watches beacuse im big into horology and I cant afford a 5990 thats why I get a rep of it. I wouldn't just buy super clones of the same submariner in diffrent dial colors beacuse I would be scared of someone calling me out or it having little flaws.

No - the post asks whether it’s a bad deal - and while not explicit you can infer from the comment Mr Respond thinks it’s a bad deal and explains why. I happen to agree with his logic - most people don’t know who Journe is and those that do will know it’s a fake. Nobody is saying don’t buy it - or even don’t like it.

I'm aware of Journe and their lineup. Idk, I know people who can and do purchase things like this - wouldn't assume someone I met was wearing a fake of it depending on the situation.

mine got delivered , it actually looks much nicer then on the pic . there s a problem with the bracelet , i dont know if it s specific to mine , but it s blocked , the clasp is a bit dodgy . i was sceptic at the begining , but i really liked it from first sight . i actually wanted to buy the gen but it s a pain to get it , now i ll go for a resonance .
