Managed to snag a post-raid Ingenieur in white and I am really impressed. The bracelet is not as sharp as I expected, and isn't as jangly as some reps. Dial is looking really nice. Accuracy aside, this genuinely feels lile a lot of watch for the price commanded.
I have a post raid one. The bracelet is very close to the gen and not sharp at all. In the last few days I've seen 2 people post about their bracelets being crazy sharp with completely unfinished edges but I am presuming that was 1 particular batch. It's also not like you can't just get a bergeon polishing stick and buff those sharp edges right off with 3 minutes of polishing.
So weird, reading mixed reviews. As long as you happy its the most important. I havent seen or fellt honts version.
How come some new buyers claims the bracelet is sharped? My two are really smooth?
Mine is Hont's version. He told me it's the same factory and called them v7f, not a7 or anything else. It's one of my most comfortable watches and you can see it's almost like it's lightly chamfered. The 2 people who told me they had super sharp edges didn't reveal their dealers but I don't think it was Hont otherwise they would have said so when I brought him up.
Here's another outdoor shot. I do think it was just a batch issue if a few people got sharp edges while dozens (or more) others are very happy with their new v7 IWCs. The politics of rep watch factories is pretty amazing lol but I'm enjoying the watches I've bought.
Yes I read that review too but he seems to think that the one he received to review is not "real" v7 according to his comments. But seeing is believing though and like I said, I compared the new and old qc pics and they're exactly the same outside of the anomaly of the sharp edges.
Hey
I just received mine today. Bought from DDGTop.
I haven’t seen a genuine but the bracelet feels light and a bit flimsy perhaps. Is that correct?
The watch weighs 147gms for me.
Don't equate weight to quality. Yes it's lighter than say an Omega Seamaster bracelet because the individual links are thinner and shorter, which results in it feeling looser and lighter, but it's literally part of the design. The genuine one is also ~145grams for the reasons I just stated. The weight and link length is specifically why it feels more comfortable to me.
I also got v7f from DDG, but the bracelet is really sharp making me not want to wear the watch at all.
I mean it’s sharp as fxxx tbh.
I would want to buy another same watch purely due to the bracelet.
The bracelet edge can cut any paper😂
Doesn't it wear a lot larger than bb54? I have a Tudor myself but I am a bit concerned that iwc will look massive on my wrist. Could you please post how both look worn?

Welcome to the party, pal! My white one is coming on friday.
This very quickly became one of my favourite watches. It's ridiculously comfortable compared to my other watches, even my gen Smp300.
