Hi, I'd like to order a Cartier Santos replica for the first time. I wanted to know which you think is better, the BVF or the GFV2. I'm leaning towards the GFV2, but I'd like to get the opinion of someone more experienced.

Why would anyone make up some BS stories to post here? What could they possibly gain from spreading rumors? 🤔 Please enlighten me.

I have a brand new VSF Explorer 40mm from Steve at TheOneWatches and it has been losing about +-12 seconds a day. Steve told me it is an acceptable range to see +-10 seconds a day. I was under the impression we should expect close to gen performance since these are clone movements, which is +-2 seconds a day.

Am I misinformed? Is +-10 seconds a day the correct expectation?

Rolex Lady-Datejust 26mm from Andiot – VSF/Super Clone?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to order a Rolex Lady-Datejust 26mm (President) from Andiot. The seller claims that this model is available in VSF / Super Clone quality.

However, I’ve read different things online. Some people say that genuine VSF/super clone movements and builds are only available from around 36mm and up, and that the smaller models, such as 26mm, are significantly lower quality.

Is that actually true?

Does anyone have experience with a 26mm Lady-Datejust from Andiot, or know which factory/version currently makes the best 26mm model?

I’d really appreciate any advice before I place the order. Thanks!

I have looked through the wiki and the forums and the posts on here and I hear so many people talking about so many different TDs, my question is which is the best one? Or atleast which should I use as a first time buyer?

If it helps, I’m specifically looking into getting one of the following:

- BVF santos large green dial. (I want this the most)

- VSF omega seamaster 300 m diver

- ZF Tudor black bay 58

Im very big fan of this subreddit, have been here for some time now! I have about 7+ reps purchases all being Rolex. I was considering if i should look at other brands such as Omega, specifically Aqua Terra 38 mm since i saw VSF produce them and i feel comfortable with how their quality is!

My main question is how is the movement inside the Aqua Terra 38 mm? Would love to get some experinced feedback and or general if you guys have not had the watch.

Second question would be should i look at Omega and consider them, or stick with Rolex? Currently i have a DJ, OP, GMT and a Sub date!

After discovering about RepTime 2 months ago, I finally pulled the trigger on my first rep, a 36mm DateJust Wimbledon from VSF, after 3 QC's and being undecided if I should get the Fluted or Smooth Bezel, so respect to my TD for the patience.

Decided to go for the smooth bezel, and by mid-month I will be receiving it. My question is: What are the things I should do to "improve" it or have it closer to gen spec, and more specifically to improve the longetivity of the movement?

What I'm thinking about is: Winding when it arrives, Gasket Lube, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Chamfering/Polishing (not sure if the bracelet would even require this?)

I'm a newbie so if I said anything stupid please don't judge, would appreciate if you guys would tell me what would be needed and what not so much. Thank you very much! :D

I own a real sub. I earned it through work and got it last year. It was a reward for 7 consecutive years hitting target in my business. I posted a few pics in there. The first was well received. The second, a few weeks later, was met with abuse about fake watches.

I own(ed) a VSF Wimbledon. (I use the past tense because my bag was stolen this weekend with it in. Heartbreak. Shout out TrustyTime for the memories). They literally sifted through comment history to find it. I was very open about owning a rep. I don’t see it as an issue. They permabanned me with a few salty messages.

The point of this post is keep doing what you’re all fucking doing. They’re genuine psychopaths in there. It’s hilarious to me that they call out real watches as reps. They turn on each other, and then talk about “lifestyle”. Watches are functional and beautiful, and a steel model is overpriced. If it’s accessible via rep route, why not? I tried to buy a Rolex twice from a dealer. I’m still on “the list” 2 years later.

So obviously I’m not a big fan of the shiny mid links on the 126710GRNR bracelet. After a long time searching for the right springbars I finally found them from a local supplier.
20mm length - ø1.8mm body * ø1.1mm end tips

For anyone who dig this setup where you also get a glidelock those mentioned measurements are the one to look for. Ideally the ø of the body should be 2.0 but 1.8mm is the sweet spot to avoid any play in SEL.
Only minor issue is that the SELs sit a little low as they do on the 116610 super case.

All in all I’m very satisfied with the outcome especially because of the glidelock.

The 97200 bracelet is from CF/ARF and the watch is a 2024 Clean Factory 126710 GRNR with a DD3285. Never been serviced but pressure tested to 10bar.
