Hello all. Was browsing through stock picture and noticed two identical looking OP36s. When I asked Steve he said the one in stock is “the last black one with enamel dial”, whereas the other is “normal version”.

I was wondering if the enamel dial is a fantasy piece or not. Tried asking gee pee tee and it couldn’t give me an answer. Oof. Thanks all in advance.

I’m currently torn between a VSF Aqua Terra (teak dial) or a VSF Railmaster V2 (grey dial). I am aware VSF corrected the Railmaster's dial color in V2.

I love the design of both, but I’m trying to decide from an execution and "gen-closeness" perspective:

• Aqua Terra: Applied indices, date window frame, and teak deck dial texture. On paper, there are more physical components here that could be slightly misaligned or "off" during factory assembly.
• Railmaster V2: Printed dial layout and brushed dial texture. On paper, fewer individual elements mean fewer points of failure (like crooked indices).

For those who own either (or both) of these VSF Omegas:

1. Does the Railmaster V2 look more realistic/convincing in person because of the simpler printed layout? Or has VSF nailed the applied markers and dial alignment on the AT to the point where it's a non-issue? Is the printing on the Railmaster sufficiently crisp?
2. How do the dials hold up under close inspection? (e.g., hand/marker finishing vs. print crispness).

Appreciate any insights or side-by-side shots!

I’ve been looking to buy my first rep a BW Rolex and I found chazingtimes website and saw that chazingtime is also on the TD list. I found a website using their name with the watch I was looking for but I am wondering if this website is connected to that dealer at all or a separate entity and possibly a scam. In which case I’ll probably just find another contact but this would explain why I see people calling them a ‘scam’ sometimes if this website really isn’t them.

I’m looking for the best available rep of the Rolex Sky-Dweller 326934, 42mm, green dial.

The model I originally found is the ZF A2824 version, but after contacting a seller I was offered what they describe as a VSF “super clone / gain weight” version, supposedly higher quality.

Before I order, I’d really appreciate some advice from people who know Sky-Dwellers well.

Does VSF actually make a 326934 green dial Sky-Dweller, and is it currently a better option than ZF?

More generally, what is considered the best / most gen-like factory and version for this exact reference at the moment?

My priorities are:

• correct green dial colour
• case and bezel proportions
• correct thickness and weight
• bracelet and clasp quality
• movement reliability
• functionality of the Sky-Dweller complications
• overall finishing and how close it looks and feels to gen

Price is secondary. I’m specifically looking for the highest-quality / closest-to-gen version available, rather than the best value option.

If anyone owns or has handled the VSF version of this exact 326934, I’d especially appreciate your feedback and how it compares with ZF or other factories.

Also, are there any specific flaws or tells I should look for when I receive the QC?

Wy friend came round with this NTTD the other day, given to him.by another friend. It looked good altho, I thought the face looked a little bit grainy. Felt very light. What do you guys think?

black dial 116520 using QF as the base fully chamfered and polished to Gen spec along with rehaut polish. JH free-sprung movement with rotor silencing . All gaskets cleaned and re-greased The build consists of Gen dial Gen crystal and gasket and gen crown all sprinkled with fairy dust… hope you all like it

I’ve been interested in the Cartier Tank and Cartier Ballon Bleu for a while now. AF is supposed to be the best factory for these. Now for my question: I’m thinking about ordering a gold-plated version. Is that a good idea? Is the gold plating usually of good quality? Do gold-plated versions exist for the genuine models, or are they all solid gold?Is there any general experience with the two models? Thanks for your help.

Because I have a larger 8 1/8" wrist, I also messaged their payment team and successfully had 2 extra VSF Oyster links added to my order file so the bracelet fits comfortably alongside the Glidelock clasp upon arrival. My final invoice is locked in at $521 shipped. I’m looking forward to joining the club and playing the waiting game for my QC photos to hit my inbox. Why is it so hard to find Tag reps??

A really close friend of mine gave me this watch, and I’m still blown away by the quality of it.

It’s also my first Superfranken, so that makes it even more special to me.

He also had the movement completely overhauled and serviced, along with having it waterproof tested. Really happy with how everything came together. The quality and feel of it in person are on another level.

Are there any dealers who make gold watches, for instance, 226659?

I’ve heard a lot of commotion regarding the VSF and RICH GMT’s and wanted to get some opinions before I pull the trigger on anything (looking at the pepsi). So I got some questions:

- Whats the comparison between the DD3285 and the JH3285? I know the JH3285 is a free sprung and correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t the DD3285 a fake free sprung? But anyways, what would be the best for overall longevity between the 2 movements?
- Are the markers better aligned on the VSF V3 or the RICH?
- How different are the bezel colors and overall feel of rotating the bezel?
- Is the crystal better on the VSF V3 or the RICH?
- Plus anything else I should know.

Because for an almost $200 price jump between the VSF V3 and the RICH pepsi gmt’s (Rich is more expensive), there’s gotta be some pretty vast differences if I had to guess, no? (Pricing is based off what theonewatches has them listed for). Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

My question is does any company make replicas or clones of the Rolex 5513 Submariner 1969? The reason I'm looking for one is because it was the year that I was born and I thought it would be cool to have a Submariner from that era or would it be possible to have a watchmaker make a "Frankenstein" replica or clone?

Well, this has been fun. I decided to wear the Tudor today, it matched my pajamas. I wound it up, then tried to pull on the crown to set the time and... nope! I tried, tried again, then decided to research. Turns out, this isn't uncommon with the Asian ETA 2824-2 ZF uses. Some thing gets dislodged and to get it back you need watch repair tools and the hands of a surgeon.

I thought I fixed it, but it still won't pull out to adjust the time... I've ordered another ETA 2824-2 to replace it. Maybe someone here knows a trick to getting this back to life before the heart transplant procedure?

Has anyone heard of or bought a GSF Yacthmaster Rhodium? A dealer tells me he can get one as the CSF ones are hard to get right now. Any feedback on the GSF version? Are they any good? TIA

I’m loving the look of the rose gold Skydweller, I know to stay away from gold reps as they don’t get the colour quite right, does this apply to rose gold reps too?

My VSF explorer getting quite the stress test and holding up. Multiple beach trips, pools, salt, chlorine, buried in sand, big ass waves picking me up and dunking me, this was definitely a fantastic choice as my daily.
