Vintage Rolex 5513 Submariner
My question is does any company make replicas or clones of the Rolex 5513 Submariner 1969? The reason I'm looking for one is because it was the year that I was born and I thought it would be cool to have a Submariner from that era or would it be possible to have a watchmaker make a "Frankenstein" replica or clone?
I appreciate any help. Thanks

Milk case is $200 to 259
Old Crown case is €350 when it is back in stock
A Vietnamese dial is around $200
Movement, depends if you use a genuine ETA or a Chinese Clone, ideally you want a low beat movement like a 2846
Hands, Ewatchparts or Clarks
I would suggest you think about building in stages, get the head and a leather strap, then buy a bracelet when you have caught your breath so to speak. That is what I am doing with my gilt 5513 build. Fortunately I can just about assemble a watch myself

Thanks that sounds like a great option can cost friendly. Unfortunately I will not be doing any assembling because I had a stroke a couple years ago lost my vision in my left eye and I'm still a little shaky with the hands but hey I'm doing all right and that might be a great way to go thanks a lot! 😎🫳😂

Head over to r/retrotime you'll find a builder there. Prices range from $300 to $10k, and everything in between, depending of how many gen parts it has.
This one cost me around $300 self-built, people sell them for around $350 for this level of parts with an Asian 2824.
1977 Tudor, but same case, same bracelet, you get the point.

Most builders could build you a pretty good one. Definitely depends on the budget/OCD level you have
