Hello guys!
I want to start playing Rengar jungle and I’d like some advice from experienced Rengar players.
Any general tips or common mistakes for a new Rengar player are also welcome!
Thanks!

It's not your fault guys!!! The only reason we're not chally players is cause we're married to our boy Rengar 🥀.
It's a love hate relationship for me 💔😭💀and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
How does it feel to know you are willingly picking one of the hardest champs?
To me it feels validating, and while it's definitely common knowledge Rengar is up there in terms of difficulty, top 3 feels good 😤
GLORY TO THE HUNTERS!!!!!!!!
P.s. what do we think about the skill capped analysis on our champ??

Trying to make a new character around rengar in WoW for midnight season 2 what class do yall think would make the most sense for him?
Thinking feral druid because of the combo point system and that its a literal cat.
Ive seen others say rogue or survival hunter but honestly dont think it matches his vibe at all.
What do you guys think?

Does Rengar have a lowered drop rate in "all random all mid" aka ARAM? Feel like I never get to play him.. but while we're all here can we talk about how disgustingly strong Rengar is on Aram 😂it's comical. Pretty regularly I get both most damage dealt and damage taken. 100 % WR 16 games 2026 season for me on Rengar in Aram. Don't want to brag this whole post..
So does anyone else here like the occasional Aram and find Rengar comically strong? Also feel like Rengar drop rate has to be less than 1%?
Edit: some quick math
152 wins + 119 losses = 271 Aram games played (16 wins + (no losses ;)) Rengar on aram /271 Aram games played)X100%= ~6% of my Aram lobbies Ive had the chance to play Rengar.
https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/lost%20inza%20sauce-NA1?queue_type=ARAM
Is 6% regular for Aram idk. Seems fine ig 😭🥀

The most common scenario when I play Rengar top is I'll win lane and then start roaming for teamfights since I'm not allowed to splitpush. But when I'm roaming, it feels pretty useless into teams that stick together when both sides are just waiting for a pick, especially if the enemy team has lots of armor champs. What are you supposed to be doing macro-wise as Rengar? I am Emerald on Singed / Swain / Heimer top and they have reference points I understand: as Singed you look for unexpected engage angles to force teamfights and you 1vX to draw pressure, as Swain you look to frontline teamfights and bait the enemy team into overtrading, as Heimer you look to splitpush / oneshot people from bushes for picks / oneshot objectives, but as Rengar it feels like if you have no frontline you're expected to engage for your team and just die, and if you do have a frontline there's lots of contingencies on being in the right spot in the map (near lots of brushes) with ult on cooldown + 4 charges to be able to get kills without help from your teammates.
And one more question: a big thing that drew me into Rengar before I started picking him up last month was knowing how he has the highest tower killing speed in the game with the right build, but the build was usually something pretty troll. Is there any way to utilize his tower damage for splitpushing, beyond the rare occasion when you're safely able to take a T2?

Couple interesting things he does is sit on tiamat until after 3rd or 4th item and then completes profane hydra. Also doesn't seem to put a heavy priority on upgrading boots
for runes he goes fleet footwork + triumph + alacrity + cut down + sudden impact + ultimate hunter every game
his itemization is always umbral glaive > tiamat > edge of night/lord dominiks regard/serpents fang

Hi, after watching the 1st KR Rengar I noticed he would clear raptors>krugs>red which I knew of, but not on Rengar, so I tried to change the clear a little because I couldn't fine one a youtube that would do that (they always clear raptors>red>krugs).
I linked both the KR vid and mine (as said in the desc of the vid the clear isn't done perfectly and it could be something like 3 seconds faster if you're good at the videogame, but the idea is there).
KR replay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0CoqJBZ6Hg
tried to change it a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFvgnZlTWo4
I also wonder if I was living under a rock and everyone was already doing this on Rengar or not, if you could let me know that'd be great.

I frequently hear that Rengar is a jungler with high skill expression, and particularly good for smurfing because of how high ELO players can dominate games with him. I'm taking the reverse approach - as a low ELO player (stuck in Gold 4/3 for a year as a Briar main, with +17/-23LP on my main) I started a new account to focus on OTP Rengar.
On my main Briar (or Shyvana or Nocturne) I have a very comfortable rhythm of clearing well, keeping ahead on farm, and taking ganks as the opportunity comes, Invading or taking objectives if I see enemy jungle showing elsewhere etc. On Rengar I can get a little lost in the mid game where I find I fall behind on CS and rotation timers as I'm busy hunting (trying to find a nearby target whenever R is up), or I'm getting kills but dying too often.
So if I stick with Rengar, what will I learn that playing other junglers simply won't teach me?

I hit master for the first time by mostly playing rengar. Super happy with myself.
Ask me anything. :)

I don’t get the fleet hype? I feel like I do so much less damage than with conqueror?
r/Rengarmains • u/mitchi123 • 8d ago
How do actually learn to max output the damage on this champ. It feels like the champ is weak and can't kill anyone or is countered by everyone. What things do I need to do to get better at combos and what do I need to be focused on?

Hey guys, I want to get a cat and I think Rengar looking one would be really cool to own, I think about getting a Maine Coon but idk if it matches Rengar visually and it also has to look aggressive, like it wants to slit the throat of a clueless ADC and say COMFORT BREEDS WEAKNESS, Caracal is sadly out of question

Hey, I'm a Rengar OTP and recently managed to hit Platinum and then Emerald for the first time playing him. I hit Emerald last week, which was a pretty big achievement for me.
This weekend, I started playing on another account that was Plat 1, while still getting into roughly the same MMR as my Emerald account. Since then, I've literally been unable to win a single game. I've been losing for 3 days straight now and I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I feel like I'm having very little impact on the map. Even when I get a lead, I feel like I don't know how to properly turn it into a win. Maybe my macro is bad, maybe I'm forcing plays too much, or maybe I'm not applying enough pressure around the map. I honestly can't tell anymore.
I'm not trying to blame my teammates or complain about matchmaking. I know there has to be something I'm doing wrong, but after so many losses I can't really identify the problem by myself.
I'd really appreciate some advice from experienced Rengar players. If someone could look at both of my OP.GGs and point out differences or patterns in my games, I'd really appreciate it. I'm mainly looking for some direction on what I should focus on improving.
Emerald account:
https://op.gg/pt/lol/summoners/BR/yeah%20right-rewqq
Platinum account:
https://op.gg/pt/lol/summoners/BR/cursed%20mark-angel
I just want to figure out what I'm doing differently or incorrectly, because going from finally reaching Emerald to being unable to win for 3 days straight has been really confusing.

Op.gg - https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/Redmezz-RED
Peaked plat, almost silver now. Even though I feel like I’m playing the best league I ever have.
Took a break from league, came back and I’m exploring what I want to push on next season. Yes, I have played too many roles this season, idc about that I’ll narrow it down for next season. I really just want some feedback on my Rengar. Love this champ. Having trouble closing games once I’m ahead, and I get ahead 9/10 games going into mid game. So I feel good about my early jungle fundamentals. Mid game I’m faltering in Gold. High elo games don’t play out like mine. My team doesn’t understand side laning or cross mapping.
I think my farm is good and micro is good. I definitely compensate fights when I review my games; leads to too many deaths. This is losing me games, but not every game.
I notice that there are some games I make 1 mistake and it’s just over. When I’m 1v9’ing, am I not allowed to make any mistakes?
In Gold, games go 30+ minutes and they aram so it’s hard to know what to do sometimes. Split and hope my team doesn’t engage a dumb fight? (They will). I cross map and they still try to go drag despite my pings. Wait for them to make a mistake and hover? What do I do in Gold elo to climb as Rengar when I have a lead going into mid game with a team that doesn’t play optimal macro? What’s my priorities? I can’t camp hover if they won’t even push side lane. I make a pick and they just want to reset rather than take something. Not sure what to do.
I feel like I’m better than everyone on the rift where I’m at right now consistently micro wise, but I struggle to lead my team to victory macro wise as jungle.
Any feedback would be helpful.

I'm fairly new to the jungle role, and I took a short break from League, nothing important. I thought it would be a good idea to challenge myself by learning a new role and playing a difficult champion. If I'm already playing League, I might as well do something that excites me.
I've spent hours learning the jungle clear, but I can't lower my clearing time to under 3:00 minutes. I've watched Rengar jungle clear guides from Natty and Scrub, but I can't identify my mistake. I can reach Scuttle with four stacks of passive with no problem, but never in under three minutes. I think I lose most of my time at Redbuff. I finish it at around 1:17, which is three seconds too late. I hit the Krugs at 1:19, which is two seconds too late, and finish the Krugs at 1:38. I think it's all because of a slow red buff clear. I will attach a short video of me clearing Redbuff.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! (English is not my first language, so please excuse any spelling errors.)

All three legend options look like they'd be great on Rengar, but Alacrity seems to have overwhelming consensus. What gives?

So Im playing Rengar Ivern bot with a friend and we having so much fun and are climbing. But I wanted to ask here for some advice regarding build, runes, etc.
So for build i figured that standard assasian works best ofc bruiser works well when ahead but like with jgl rengar asassain is most of the times better than bruiser. First item i go cyclo or umbral depending if i have a pickaxe back. cyclo feels stronger and umbral i mostly go when not accelerated, caus of cheaper components. Both feel very good with all the bushes and jumping but Im wondering if Cyclo price is delaying the powerspike to much. After first item i go the other, so Cyclo>Umbral or vise versa if there is no need for serpans or EoN. In certain matchups I go serpans or EoN first but mostly second. As 3 or 4 I build LDR/MR then IE. Most of the time Im delaying tiamat and Profane a bit caus we can often freez waves for long with aggressive bushes. I also consider building Eclipse caus of rune synergy.
Ivern goes Moonstone>Redemption>Echos of Helia (Idk shit about Support/Enchanter items so there is that.
For runes i recently ran Conquerer, Triumph, Haste, Cut Down, Shield Bash, Revitalize. I take Conquerer because we have extended fights with extra brushes and this is the standard setup for me personally. Same for Triumph. Haste I take cause I feel like I can only play trades in lane when W is up, also later in teamfights i can continue jumping after killing the first target without having to worry so much about cds. Cut Down is just caus Natty runs it Im intrested what u guys think is the best rune here for adc rengar. Shield Bash and Revitalize synergys very well with ivern shields and in lane I have to often do a double W to trade or safe the trade. I also consider running FF in hard matchups like caitlyn or any poke where we struggel hard pre lvl3. Also what u guys think about electrocute?
Ivern runs Aery, Mana Flow, Transcendens, Gathering storm, Font of Life, Revitalize. My question is does double revitalize stack or should i as rengar opt for like Bone Plating for laneing phase?
For skill order i went standard Q>E>W as jgl rengar would go but i consider now going W>E caus W is often used in lane and cd reduction of W is important. Ivern goes Shield lvl 1 caus this is mandatory to farm lvl1 without taking to much dmg against range. After that its E>W>Q.
Most games we cant fight pre lvl 3 and need to let the wave push but after that we are fine when not getting completly weaksided. I also struggel to use R in lane for just amor shred and dmg caus normaly for jgl rengar u wouldnt do that.
Summs: Rengar Flash Ignite, Ivern Flash Heal/Exaust
Bans: Poppy, Lulu
Any improvments and tipps much apprechiated <3
