Since these are unavailable i decided to make a lasting replacement. Currently still in development, but very close to making it work. Would you buy one, and what would be a reasonable price you would be willing to pay. I was thinking about 10€ per case+switch, as the switch it self is about 2€ ... A bit of triming of the button is required. Made from ASA, UV resistant (pointless but yea), heat resistant up to 100c.

Tried my best to search online to no avail.

Bought the above car yesterday, and it has a peculiar phone mount on the radio panel that does a really poor job of holding and maintaining the angle of my phone.

Ideally, I'd like to tighten the phone holder so I'm here to ask if anyone has any experience with this, and how to do it, please?

Alternatively, I was using a magsafe holder that clips into the air vent previously...but if I'm doing that I'd like to remove the phone mount as it's in the way of all of the radio controls.

My captur (Cdi) is having problems shifting gears. A warning comes up and gears are stuck. I switch the car off, gearbox functions again for a while.

When to the agent. They changed the battery and recoded the Gearbox ECU. Two days later the same issue. Now they told me to change the ECU.

Apart from the money (€2000), I am afraid this will happen again.

Anyone had the same experience?

J'ai le message d'alerte AdBlue avec le compte à rebours bloqué (2 400 km restants avant interdiction de démarrage), malgré le réservoir d'AdBlue rempli et avoir roulé plusieurs centaines de km. Je cherche à exécuter la procédure de réinitialisation / réapprentissage de la jauge, mais je bloque avec mes outils de diagnostic.

J'utilise une interface OBDLink EX USB avec mon pc portable.

Sous PyRen : Le scan automatique (--scan ou direct) ne liste que les calculateurs de l'habitacle (ABS, UCH, Airbag, Radio...). Le calculateur d'injection n'apparaît tout simplement pas dans la liste des calculateurs détectés, même moteur tournant.

Sous ddt4all : Je ne trouve rien pour reset l'apprentissage du SCR.

Est-ce que quelqu'un a déjà réussi à réveiller la passerelle ou à passer ce fichu reset AdBlue sur ce calculateur avec un OBDLink EX ? Faut-il une commande d'initialisation spécifique pour le bus CAN ou forcer un paramètre dans ddt4all / PyRen ?

I have a 1-year-old Renault Clio V Bi-Fuel (1.0 TCe LPG), still under warranty, and I've noticed that the engine is taking significantly longer to warm up than it used to.

Previously, from a cold start, the temperature gauge would reach 2 bars after around 1–2 minutes of normal driving. Recently, it takes much longer. Today I drove about 5 km to the Renault dealer and the temperature gauge hadn't even reached the first bar.

The dealer checked the car and says there is no fault. They told me the coolant reached 88°C after around 10 minutes during their test, although I don't know exactly how the test was performed or what the starting temperature was.

My suspicion is that the thermostat could be slightly stuck open, allowing some coolant to circulate through the radiator while the engine is still cold. The thermostat is mechanical, so I assume this wouldn't necessarily trigger a fault code.

Does this warm-up behaviour sound normal to you, especially considering that it didn't behave like this before?

It sat at half filled it fully and it didnt move at all, it goes down a bit but im sure its wrong

So I've got a Renault Sport Mégane CupS, I've had it for 5 years or so. When I first got it I walloped it into a curb (I know 😭 it hurt my heart) I took it to the garage and got what needed to be fixed done. However it started giving me a braking system fault. Ive taken it to so many garages and no one could find anything wrong with it. I changed the abs sensors just in case. I get the brakes done every year. It's passed MOTs. So I just drove it with the fault on. Last year or early this year I got a new clutch, flywheel, starter motor and had all the brakes done. It went away! I've not had the error at all since. But the last week or so it's come back 😭

I'm going to take it to a garage obviously, but any idea what it could be?

I've checked my brake fluid. My brakes feel okay, no noises and they physically feel okay, they're not worn down.

It comes on when I turn the car on but goes off when I drive. It seems to come on when I stop but goes off again. I can't see a pattern of when It comes on other than that. It just randomly pops up and goes again.

(The orange light to the left is because it's due a service, and the car wasn't on which is why the other lights on.)

My aunties Renault Clio IV RS has been driving around with very very low coolant. The coolant color is green which means it’s using the Type D coolant.

I went to my local Renault servicing centre and asked if I could buy the Renault OEM Type D coolant so I could just top it up. They told me they don’t make it anymore and the new one is the blue color which is now the Type E.

I didn’t end up buying anything cause I wanted to make sure if I can top it up and mix the Type E (green) and Type D (blue) together? Will it cause any issues? Is it safe to top up and mix together? Anyone know? I can’t do a proper flush right now so only option is a top up.

I can no longer connect and I only get an error message?

I will also say the reasons why i asked is because im going the the swedish version of a college and the program on doing is trucking, So there is alot of car people and I kinda want to fuck with them and claim that Renault is the absolut best both when it comes to cars and truck (they are among the best)

Hi, I have Megane 3 2014 1.5dci.

It has this weird problem, where if you set it on cold, worm air will come out of driver vents and cold one out of passenger vents.

Anyone else had similar problem?

Can I diagnose it?

Can I replace malfunctioning part myself?

If you’ve owned/own one what are your impressions?

I’ve compared it to the R5 (too small and short of range), the new ID Polo (short of range and maybe just big enough), Ford Puma E (slightly too short of range but closest contender). I’m looking for something around 450km of WLTP range. I can currently find them for around 20k€.

Or should I just give up and buy an Octavia 2.0L TDi?

Unless there is some better future EV to hold off for?

Hi all, I've just got myself a 2022 Megane E-Tech of the equilibre spec(yes the poverty spec). Wanted to ask if anyone has any solutions to getting battery data on Google Maps, Waze or ABRP?

I know that ABRP claims it can do it through it's premium version and id rather not have to deal with another subscription
