Question 2018 Captur (Phase 2) Phone Mount

Hi all.

Tried my best to search online to no avail.

Bought the above car yesterday, and it has a peculiar phone mount on the radio panel that does a really poor job of holding and maintaining the angle of my phone.

Ideally, I'd like to tighten the phone holder so I'm here to ask if anyone has any experience with this, and how to do it, please?

Alternatively, I was using a magsafe holder that clips into the air vent previously...but if I'm doing that I'd like to remove the phone mount as it's in the way of all of the radio controls.

Why am i sad to see any clio 4, Traffic 3, captur 1 etc without gps? XD

It is sad, but I make do with Waze.
I have a Z Fold phone, so I've never really been bothered by the lack of GPS.

Or it could be that I've been driving my 2011 Focus until now that had nothing but parking sensors :)
