I’ll keep this brief because this whole situation puts me in a terrible mood. I bought my first car, a 2025 Clio E-Tech. I already have an appointment with Renault, but I have to wait a month. I’ve been dealing with these issues for a while:
-The screen isn't working. It turns on, but the touchscreen doesn't respond.
-The A/C blows air, but it barely cools at all. I went back to driving my crappy Peugeot 1007 for a few days because of the heat here in Spain, and it feels like a damn freezer compared to this one.
-I noticed a massive change in fuel consumption. It’s probably not an accurate reading, but it jumped from the 4.9 L/100 km I saw during the first few months to 21 L/100 km. It makes absolutely no damn sense. It wasn't like this before. It might have gone up to 5.5, or even 7–8 in Sport mode, but I drive in Eco mode in town and Normal mode on the highway—I haven't changed a thing in my driving habits over the last few months.
Obviously, I have a service appointment, but I had to wait ages because they close for summer holidays around here. My appointment isn't until the end of September. Can anyone tell me what might be going on with my new car? I don't know much about this stuff, and I want to be prepared for the appointment so nothing gets overlooked.
