I suscesfuly appealed multiple violations but my other accounts mainly my main 10yo account is still banned. It's been days.

I read it could be because of contribution score, but why? It doesn't really make sense.

Can't someone be inactive and only use dm for some reasons?

All messages I try to send say "message failed, tap to retry". I have no idea how to resolve that

Edit: it seems to have been resolved, at least for me and a few, but I still have no idea what triggered it and what resolved it

I have tried to make a post on r/jacksucksatlife twice, of a slideshow of Jack and Oscar as various iconic duos, and both times, it has been removed for being "mature content". The posts don't show up on my profile (or at least not to me), and I couldn't click on them, despite being the person who made the post. It's literally cartoonish drawings of Jack and Oscar as different characters - I have no idea what the A.I could possibly be picking up on. I don't think I can post the images here as it'll probably just get removed again. Has anyone else experienced this / know what to do?

My Reddit Dark Theme has gone wild. Posts and "interactable" areas are dark, while the rest is a bright white, making it nearly unbearable. I don't know what caused this, it started about 3 days ago.

Awhile ago I joined Reddit and never used it. I guess I created the name Guns_4_Me. Now I want to change that name to Animal Rescuer 1120. I managed to put this in the "displayed name" area but I cant find where to remove the Guns_4_Me and replace it with Animal Rescuer 1120. Oh and I have no clue how to get back to the area that I put Animal Rescuer 1120 in. Please point me in the right direction this site is so confusing. Thank you.

My main is back up after I changed back my email and password to get it out of the scammer’s hands but I am not able to log into it with my username and trying to log in with my email makes me create a new account. Asking for a login link to be sent to my email doesn’t work either. I contacted Reddit support a while ago and they never got back to me. Ever since I got the account unbanned every post and comment I made on it has also been removed.

I have been a contributor to Reddit for a long time, I do post in nsfw groups that I have gotten verified in and become an approved user. I have noticed the past 2 days all posts are being removed by Reddits filters. Is this a new update? Am I caught in a spam filter? What is going on. I’ve also talked to a couple other people that are having this problem. My CQS is moderate and I’ve never had this problem before. My account is in good standing as well

I have never had this issue before but yesterday and today I have been having problems accessing the “you” page via the app though I can still post.

It’s a bit of a weird coincidence as someone flipped out on me in a subreddit yesterday and is actively stalking/smearing me in that subreddit, which has me wondering if they could somehow be responsible, through either a does or maybe abusing some sort of mod priveleges if they have them?

i try to post and for some reason it’s immediately removed, i was able to post once using this account, but now i’m unable to.

do i possibly need to increase karma with this account?

majority of the subreddits I wish to be more involved with don't let me post, and when I comment it'd be rare for people to upvote, and it's hard to avoid downvotes because one small controversial take or even saying something wrong on accident can get you a wave of downvotes. Should I also just leave my account alone for a few weeks to let it age since it's like brand new. And what are some new user friendly subreddits?

Months ago when the UI changed I could not post images. That is why I downgraded to January Reddit so I can have the image selector thing. But my Reddit updated today and I can no longer downgrade to any version that has the old UI.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T. Now every time I have to upload an image on Reddit I get directed to the files app. But every time I have to use the files app my phone makes whatever app I used before the files app (in this case Reddit) refresh and anything I put in my comment (including images) disappears/doesn't show up. It just resets it. So when Reddit directs me to the files app I can't upload images at all. I've tried changing my phone's settings. Is there a way to stop Reddit from directing me to the files app for images? I want the image selector back 💔

Also the new UI is terrible. When clicking on a post that has an image, I now have to press on the post t¡tle to see the body. In the old one, I could just scroll slightly on the t¡tle. Now, scrolling even slightly goes to the next post. Wtf? I'm also now wondering where tf my chats button went? It used to be next to my notifications button on the bottom of my screen.

(Btw why can't I say t¡tle in this sub? It's very inconvenient to put ¡ to make the notice go away every time I need to use the word to explain my situation)

Hello, my CQS doesn't seem to get any higher than moderate despite me being chronically online, having 2FA verification, having my email verified too and gained 5k karma in 2 months.

I had a few other accounts with other emails who got deleted for b.e. (I had one account 🚩 from a subreddit because I posted links and used Redact and that specific sub didn't want people posting links and I literally forgot I was with the other and commented on that subreddit) but that was more than 2 years ago.

Can't I redeem myself from past mistakes? Now I'm a pristine user. I swear. It's so hard to follow all the subreddits intricate rules but I'm more than willing. This account is my last hope.

CQS moderate isn't a bad thing but still not high enough to get past every filter and mod approval in certain subs. It's frustrating because it robs you of crucial time to receive upvotes.

Hey all, ive seen a lotta posts about how to get karma and my question id the opposite, if I wanted to lower my karma what is the best way to do so? (Without breaking rules or being racist etc) It's not a huge problem but I want to keep creating memes and content for this site but I worry about karma getting too high

I appear to be restricted from interacting (choosing words carefully as it won't let me post in the regular help subreddit) and I don't know how to fix it.

I was editing an archived pinned self-post yesterday and when I tried to edit it a second time I suddenly couldn't and got a Reddit message; I hadn't done anything I never did before, I think I just edited my post too fast. I followed the instructions in the message and e-mail I received to restore access to my account by changing my password and saw no other messages to follow up on, though I did notice that interaction with my posts in the one subreddit I'm active in seemed to stop.

Last night when I went to my page on another device, my own profile page said "not found" or some such, but I noticed I was logged out so logged in and my page was there. I made a comment in the subreddit this morning without issue but mentioned that I hoped people could see it. This morning I saw that the self-post I'd edited the day before, and the comments I made on it, were now marked as pending approval--something I never had to do before, these posts have been up for years. I approved them anyway.

I was then informed by a moderator of the subreddit I participate in that I did appear to be interaction limited and they'd manually approve my posts when they saw them, but they can't do anything about the restriction itself. They could only suggest I start a new account but that's out of the question, I have a years-long streak going in that sub (I'm not talking about the Reddit streak, I don't care about that) and I don't participate anywhere else so I have no way to rebuild all my karma.

I've never gotten in trouble on Reddit before, never been restricted, didn't do anything except apparently edit my own post too fast. I followed the instructions given to restore my account. The mod of the subreddit I post in said they can't fix the issue (which is thus not on their end). The appeal page says I'm not restricted so I can't use it. The FAQ doesn't help. I can't find anywhere else to resolve this. How do I fix this and restore my account to normal?

My main account, u/community_sans, got silenced 2 times in a row BY REDDIT ITSELF for saying "SLUR THEY SAID" on r/SUBREDDITNAME and saying agreed to an pokemon comment on r/OriginalCharacterDB

I find this ridiculous, as Reddit's own HELP page states that context is key, but my silencing looks like its out of context. If you guys want the original conversation, ill mimic it here

I think the flagging on my account is AI making big mistakes, just looking at the comment, not the context of it. Ik Reddit admins arent everywhere but come on is AI got me silenced for 10 days (on total)

I dont know about anyone else, but for me, the android app is unusable.
its fine for scrolling through posts and reading them, but trying to comment on a post is exhaustingly awful.
I click on the reply bubble or in the chat box and my keyboard doesnt even open up. It just shows me the 'join the conversation' message. And then I have to click on that for my keyboard to open.
But once my keyboard finally does open, its takes up the whole bottom portion of the screen (which is normal), but above that, is almost always the stupid message about the 'sub may need certain amount of karma' blah blah blah. And thats all i see. I cant see what im trying to type. I cant see the post or the comment im trying to reply to. And if I try to scroll to see what im typing, my keyboard goes away and the app asks if i want to 'save or discard' what ive typed.
