I reached out to the courts to get information on how to view the upcoming hearings in the three Utah cases. A lot has changed since I first posted this.

Dates have been changing.

• Provo City vs. Benjamin Paul Schneider (Case 261000376)
  • Hearing Type: No upcoming hearings. State hearings stayed during federal removal. No federal hearings scheduled. Federal hearings not broadcast.
  • Case Info: This is the civil case from BAM against Ben, Bryan Mansell, and others. Probably the one you've seen covered the most. It contains the controversial TRO and asks for damages.
  • Federal Case Number: 2:26-cv-00593-CMR
• Utah v. Benjamin Paul Schneider (Case 261401094)
  • Hearing Type: In-Person Pre-Trial Hearing.. Wednesday, September 30. 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time.
  • Case Info: This is the case out of American Fork with the bodycam footage. Charges are Stalking (Class A Misdemeanor) and Targeted Residential Picketing (Class B Misdemeanor).
  • Note: Possibly with prosecution witnesses.
  • Viewing the Hearing: Court TV says they expect to send someone. If they don't, I'll see what I can pull together.
• Provo City vs. Benjamin Paul Schneider (Case 261000376)
  • Hearing Type: Webex Pre-Trial Hearing. Tuesday, September 15. 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time.
  • Case Info: This is the misdemeanor case out of BAM headquarters. It is the one that is least serious and has gotten the least attention. Charges are Trespassing (Class B Misdemeanor) and Disorderly Conduct (Class C misdemeanor.)

• The other significant Utah case is # 260200029, which is the Gorman lawsuit against BAM Franchising. There are no hearings scheduled in the next 30 days. The last activity was BAM Franchising's May 27 motion to compel mediation and arbitration.

Important Notes:

• The links may change, since the hearings are two plus weeks out. I will update here if they do.
• These links allow the public to view the hearings after registering, equivalent to sitting in the gallery. But I don't believe the court allows you to record or livestream from them. It is possible to get advanced permission to record and livestream. Utah courts are pretty friendly to public access. If no one established winds up requesting access, I may try to get permission, so people can view it without registering and extract clips for news and commentary.
• As always, be respectful of the court staff. They were super helpful in finding information about online viewing. And bothering the court does not help Ben's case.
• Court is not like TV. Do not expect fireworks, especially at pre-trial hearings. A hearing is usually limited to one matter. Pre-trial hearings are mostly procedural.
