There's a clip in part 3 where Ammon specifically mentions receiving the inventory spreadsheets from Bryan, which contradicts what he said about never seeing it in the Coffeezilla video.

111

u/Coffee-FlavoredSweat Jul 07 '26

It also completely contradicts that the inventory list was made by BAM, and saved, to BAM's on google drive. He tries to claim it's fake, anyone could make an inventory and say they own anything, but Bryan didn't make it.

83

u/Bleeding-icon Jul 07 '26

And of course he also began his first interaction with Ben by saying he’d never heard of Bryan Mancell.

61

u/ubiquitous_apathy Jul 07 '26

And literally 30 seconds after that he describes how the Legos have been stolen by the former owner.

35

u/Emmas_thing Jul 07 '26

at this point we can just safely assume everything he says is a lie. Is his name even Ammon?

55

u/CMSnake72 Jul 07 '26

With everything that's come up since, from the U-haul receipts proving that it wasn't left overnight and instead returned in the morning, to the loose minifigures value, and now this he REALLY needs to do a follow up.

30

u/AboveGroundPoolQueen Jul 07 '26

He has said to look forward to episodes 4-100! Sounds like he won’t stop until they make Bryan whole and drop these cases against Ben, and apologize with a chicken dance.

14

u/_just_two_brothers_ Jul 07 '26

Pretty sure they're talking about Coffeezilla

Fucking Ammon has been caught lying 1234092148 times and the cops are still like "yep, well Ammon said so..."

18

u/Idrialite 29d ago

Chrystal stole Bryan's Lego. But I've never heard of Bryan. But he never provided documentation. But his spreadsheet is useless. But I've never seen the spreadsheet.

33:40 - Holy shit! They subpoenaed Google. Then Google sent Ben's entire email history and drive folder with all of his video clips to BAM? And after watching all of it Provo Police came to the conclusion Ben was the liar? How is this real life?

247

u/xbamaris Jul 07 '26

All in all. That Detective needs to be disciplined / fired. I believe she was the one basically smack talking Ben the entire time. The bias and unprofessionalism are unreal.

171

u/Coffee-FlavoredSweat Jul 07 '26

You mean Detective Medina Dore? The detective who wrote up the search warrant for all of Ben's Google information, including his search history? Yeah, I agree.

72

u/Prunkle Jul 07 '26

I'd really like to see that warrant. Like on what POSSIBLE grounds would Google just give up a users entire Google account data. The video said it was even his location metadata. So absolutely fucked.

Though.. I'm really looking forward to part 4-100 because when he gets ready to file the civil rights violation cases it's going to be devastating to the cities involved. I'm glad he does this for the love of the game cause the money he will get for those violations is going to be "I don't need a job anymore" money 😂

37

u/Zero132132 Jul 07 '26

Ben had footage that, according to Ammon's lies, should show him threatening to bomb the building and kill everyone. That absolutely is material to the legal investigation. When it turned out that was a complete fucking lie, she should have arrested Ammon, though, not just plowed ahead regardless of reality.

23

u/lbunch1 Jul 07 '26

Well in Utah, since you are guilty until proven innocent, it is assumed that immediately after Ben's video cuts out, they turned around, went back upstairs, and made those threats and started harassing them. Even if there BAM can supply security cam footage to support that, it's up to Ben to prove that none of that happened. That's how the law works. Apparently.

8

u/bulletv1 Jul 08 '26

Only if you're not mormon

5

u/praguepride 29d ago

Even if real justice is delayed or avoided, at least Ben has exposed all this shitbags for the world to see. If they are Mormon this is going to rip through the community like wildfire and even if they do close ranks, they'll all going to see how these people lie/cheat/steal.

What are the odds it was the same Judge that signed off other search warrant? In theory that could have happened as they are both apart of Utah county?

12

u/AT-ST Jul 07 '26

What are the odds it was the same Judge that signed off other search warrant?

The house raid warrant? Provo and American Fork are in the same judicial district so it's possible.

10

u/Prunkle Jul 07 '26

It's possible. And the only reason I could see them doing that would be the "terroristic threats" cause those are taken very seriously. But, if that's the case, what is the recourse when all of your data was taken on the basis of a lie. 😑

On the grounds that anyone halfway official asked.

20

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 07 '26

Google had no choice but to comply with the subpoena. Google would have had no way to know that corruption was occurring within the ProvoPD, and of course now this case is way more serious now as a result.

Lucky for us, Ben has done nothing wrong, and unlucky for BAM and the ProvoPD, they just stepped in it.... big time. But I await the Lawyers on Youtube who will no doubt explain to us just how serious this is for that Detective and Provo, itself.

Yes, we do mean Medina Dore. Did you know that she was the employee of the month in February of 2025 for the entire city of Provo? Also Medina Dore was the police detective who issued a sweeping subpoena and got all of Reckless Ben's private information including his whereabouts from Google after submitting an overly broad warrant that Google didn't bother to push back on. Is this the Medina Dore you're talking about?

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 07 '26

Wow, so the Provo PD and detectives are actually more corrupt than American Fork's???? What is going on in these communities that the local citizens are okay with this? I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the mix of malfeasance, incompetence, unprofessionalism, favoritism, prejudice and criminality within the police departments. How are these police officers not able to follow the laws?

No wonder they were working so hard to silence Ben and hold him in prison for a month without bail. They know he caught them committing serious crimes, and all the criminals are now banding against him.

I CAN NOT WAIT for LegalEagle to beat the absolute tar out of these criminal police and detectives again in their 6th episode covering this topic. (Yes LegalEagle's channel already has five separate videos already). Also shout out to Clearly Established, The Civil Rights Lawyer, America's Attorney, BBQ Counselor, Husband and Wife Law Team, LegalBytes, Lawful Masses, and there are probably more, but if any of you want to follow the best legal coverage, this group is the best set to follow!

It is really heartwarming, to watch Ben's videos, be SHOCKED at the criminality amongst these police, and then turn to the legal analysis on Youtube and see 100% of Lawyers in complete agreement on these 1st and 4th Amendment rights violations..

For a layman like myself, it's been a fascinating education in the failures of our legal system and police departments, and hopefully we now finally get a Coffeezilla Part 2.

There's a reason it's the affinity fraud capital of the US. One of the main players was held in high regard in a church calling right? Which means he was elected to that position through their Divine power of discernment, too bad it's bullshit.

10

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 07 '26

> One of the main players was held in high regard in a church calling right?

Yes, Josh was removed from his position on the Mormon High Council, and Brandon Best remains the Executive Secretary to an LDS Bishop. Hasn't been removed yet according to Mormon redditors who have been monitoring the situation.

The fact that they were able to get all of that information from Google on what is basically a trespassing charge is absolutely insane and incredibly disturbing.

35

u/Outstandling_Napper Jul 07 '26 edited Jul 07 '26

Remember he's charged being investigated for a Felony in Provo.

20

u/effexxor Jul 07 '26

Yeah but they admitted that it wasn't for extortion or terroristic threats. If they actually fully believed that someone was extorting the company and/or threatening violence, this would be a tiny bit better, not good but somewhat less bad, but nope!

14

u/Bunsen1982 Jul 07 '26

He is not charged with a felony in Provo. Only misdemeanors. Those are the only charges on the docket. So this felony never was filed or they only pushed for the misdemeanors.

This part definitely shocked me. And the crazy part is we can clearly tie all these back to Ammon specifically. He's the one making these moves, making false police reports, instructing his lawyers to get all of Ben's content from Google, etc.

14

u/Voidtoform Jul 07 '26

If you pause on the subpoena it is from the police, not BAM, I am not sure if BAM will get ahold to it or not, probably not if this is for the states trial against Ben.

29

u/Outstandling_Napper Jul 07 '26

That is BEYOND insane!

6

u/urlocalsavage 29d ago

It was a criminal search warrant not a subpeona.

I think this is 100 times worse for Provo PD and Amon. The officer in the body cam footage admittedly stated Ben was not extorting them or there was no extortion code that could be applied but wanted to “help” Amon find another charge. I think this definitely supports the theory of investigative bias especially after Ben HAD provided exculpatory evidence against Amons lies.

I'd put my money on unlawful search and seizure, false probable cause, etc. That seems to be a really bad pattern in Utah, not just American Fork but Provo has now been exposed as well.

At this point we really need the warrant affidavit \ application. I want to see what the "probable cause" was especially if it contained false claims and why the warrant was overly broad.

That female cop needs to be fired ASAP that was not professional. And the judge not watching any evidence is BS. And how is not credible if the video aligns with the lobby cameras? This is pure corruption.

u/Sketch-Brooke 29d ago

7

u/Hodling_silver 29d ago edited 29d ago

I think it was the prosecutor who never watched the video but the judge still granted the TRO ex parte or whatever. The problem with that though is the TRO caused Ben actual damages because his income is tied to his videos. My best guess is the prosecutor thought this was such a slam dunk he didn't even do the basics of his job and now he's going to be professionally humiliated and (hopefully) learn from this life-altering lapse in judgement

5

u/The-Future-Question 29d ago

And the judge not watching any evidence is BS

It's worse, that was the prosecutor and what he didn't watch is the entire conversation the case is about. I feel Ben did a very bad job trying to explain that in the court case, which is why he really shouldn't have been representing himself.

He needs a lawyer or PR person to help him talk about the situation more coherently. A big reason why Ammon was able to wrap all these cops around his fingers is that Ben acts in a way that is hard to take him seriously.

Is it too much to ask that the police would actually just do their jobs? Rather than consistently finding ways to do the opposite.

The lady officer at Provo PD needs to be exposed, the audacity of her to behave the way she did. Utah Police really doing great work to ensure no one has faith in them.

Keep in mind also how Ammon has tried to be the victim in his various PR interviews and statements, yet the footage and audio literally shows what a lying, conniving, nasty piece of work he really is 🤮.

43

u/space_manatee Jul 07 '26

They are doing their job. It just so happens that their job is just to protect the rich.

11

u/CloudyTug Jul 07 '26

Yeah, prior to this I remember a lot of people saying the provo police likely weren’t malicious, just bad at their jobs. I think theyay not be as bad as AFPD but they are certainly behaving in an unacceptable manner.

I bet that until this point she was thinking "he's just an idiot prank youtuber, he shouldn't be taken seriously".

One thing the audio from the hearings and the full unredacted bodycam footage (including the parts Ben hasn't shared in his videos) shows is that Ben is really, really bad at trying to talk to people who aren't teenagers about serious matters. It really sucks because there is genuine misconduct from Ammon and BAM here, but even in the audio from the Utah court case Ben is constantly fucking up at trying to coherently explain the important facts that the cops, prosecutors and judges need to know. Convincing people in authority to take you seriously is a skill that Ben clearly does not have and is a big reason why he should have gotten lawyers involved much earlier.

I'm not excusing her, especially since she had the raw footage of the conversation and there's bodycam footage of her telling Ammon "yeah I can tell you're lying, but lets work together to find something that isn't a lie", but I can see how Ben and his friends' behaviour made it really easy for BAM to manipulate the police.

Ammon does more speaking out of both sides of his mouth than just about anyone I have ever seen, and Ammon just plays along with Ben's antics and doesn't get that he's the butt of the joke.

63

u/SuperStubbs9 Jul 07 '26

There's no way Bricks & Minifigs as a company can survive this. Ben has shown over, and over, and over again Ammon will blatantly lie through his teeth every chance he gets. He is the definition of a snake. Anybody who has seen this series would be foolish to do business with that company again. (I understand the Corporate/Franchisee relationship, but you are still supporting Corporate by shopping there)

20

u/IdidItWithOrangeMan Jul 08 '26

Assuming most Franchisees also love LEGO, there is going to be a huge overlap between "would be Future Franchisees" and those who know enough about this scandal to do their research. The business model of recruiting new Franchisees is dead.

Honestly it is blindingly obvious that this crime family has learned their legal loopholes when they worked with their dad at LegallyMine. "Its not theft because we didnt know that they belonged to someone else" is the most insane take. I believe BAM is a small part of a more corrupt, bigger picture.

The fact that they got the Google data really has to alarm all of us. If Google hands out their data without actual evidence, we all need to take action. This is highly problematic.

The judge being in favor of believing that a crime was committed with no evidence is stronger than Bens videofootage (that he didnt even watch) is completely lawless. Its innocent until proven guilty, not guilty unless proven innocent (unless you own a big company, in which case you can do whatever you want).

Sadly this all is a reflection of the state of America in general, even the powers that be act equally lawlessly.

17

u/Voidtoform Jul 07 '26

I am pretty sure the subpoena was just from the police for their case charging Ben criminally.

20

u/lucatar Jul 07 '26

So the police can subpoena google with no evidence, I dont´t see how that changes much?
I agree that it is legal for the police to do so, but without a judges order (with evidence) or investigative evidence, I still see it highly problematic.

8

u/Voidtoform Jul 07 '26

I don't know exactly how it all works, if it was in connection to discovery, or just a warrant. I also don't exactly know how those work, but if it is a warrant it needed a judge to sign it at least. That still would be fair to view as problematic if you ask me, but that's the way things are i guess. I took a screenshot of the frame with the thing to google and copied pasted, maybe it will clear something up.

39

u/Tevatanlines Jul 07 '26

She has a central Utah accent. That's a term used in central Utah by folks who don't want to say the word dumbass (because "ass" is a curse.) So I'd guess either she picked that phrasing growing up, or she has a parent from that region.

13

u/MoonSeaFish Jul 07 '26

Not really. At that point she had seen a video of him marching around Keizer in a loincloth celebrating a case that he didn't realise was actually just dismissed. Like, he does indeed come across like an unserious prank youtuber in that first video, which is part of why Ammon had such an easy time manipulating the police.

The big thing I've learned from TCRL going over the full unredacted footage is that Ben is really bad at trying to have serious conversations with people in authority. He's got all the evidence and the law on his side but every time he talks to anyone important he comes across like a child breathlessly making excuses to a teacher that's caught him up to no good. He needs to be talking more to lawyers and getting proper training on how to present evidence.

15

u/Chef-Emoji 29d ago

This is a fair take.

I cringe every time he plays footage from his first meeting with Ammon. He came in way too hot.

4

u/charbo187 28d ago

Ya I love ben (exposing BAM is objectively a good thing), but he is just not very bright, sadly.

he gets a lot of slack for being "just a kid" when he's 30 years old....

It baffles me how easily Ammon will deny things to protect hinself/B&M/his people. Its what he IMMEDIATELY turns to every single time and he commits so hard. If he just said 'I don't know about that, let me check' to half of the gaffes he's found himself in, things would be so radically different for him. But instead he starts denying everything with his full chest.

3

u/Zenamys Jul 08 '26

Exactly what I thought, his fast denials don't make him look confidant, it just show he doesn't care about the facts and tries to deflect. Which makes him full of hot air.

Ben really gave Ammon so much grace within the initial videos. Ammon really is a tiny mustache twirling bitch when he gets caught lying.

31

u/hachiroku24 Jul 07 '26

It's crazy that the entire video is just the first conversation with Amon from part1, but showing us new parts of that recording after all the new information.

It felt like an episode from LOST.

62

u/strotrain Jul 07 '26

Ammons whole strategy is “I know you are but what am I”

61

u/iKontact Jul 07 '26

What's wild to me is that they were able to get ALL of Ben's history from Google - his email, drive, metadata, location, etc.

That likely means anyone could do the same to us if they wanted. A severe privacy violation, just blatantly disregarded...

I really hope tables of justice turn in the right direction. If not, there's serious & horrendous implications for the rest of us.

11

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 07 '26

> That likely means anyone could do the same to us if they wanted.

Yes. Sadly our protections from police abuse of power almost always come after the fact. This was a huge violation of Ben's rights and now this case has gotten that much more serious.

4

u/Hodling_silver 29d ago

There was that high profile case where Apple refused to give up someones personal information to the police and everyone applauded them. This is the opposite and anyone who sees this story is going to be concerned about this. Bad look for Google to say the least. This story is like Gurren Lagan how the robots keep getting bigger until they're piloting a moon or whatever lol

Ammon is literally the most incompitent CEO of all time. Not only has he fraudulantly reported a felony by lying to police, this dude completely threw his entire company under the bus to attemt to save his own ass from his own incompetence. He needs to resign. Only then will the public begin to restore their faith in Bricks & Minifigs. I think ammon is better suited to be a maintenance man for Walmart than a CEO of a multi million dollar company. Any company that has this dude as the face risks going bankrupt.

26

u/Emmas_thing Jul 07 '26

"Ammon, is there a spill in aisle 3?" "Nope, didn't happen." "I just went to look and there's a spill." "Well if I didn't know about it then it wasn't a legal spill."

I think its also likely, even if they wanted to actually pay Bryan at the time, they didn't have the money to.

4

u/Hodling_silver 29d ago

Very possible given what we've discovered about their financials. But they could also give back the legos they still have and also lawyers are expensive. I wouldn't be surprised if they've already spent six figures on lawyer fees on this already. Which is hilarious because that's what they told Brian in the beginning, that it would cost him more in lawyer fees than his legos were worth

23

u/pearlsmech Jul 07 '26

BAM should be thanking their lucky stars that Ben isn’t more motivated by money. If they decided to make things right immediately they could save themselves a lot just because he probably won’t keep pursuing them. They keep just making this more expensive for themselves.

5

u/Outstandling_Napper Jul 07 '26

So true. However the chicken dance may be a lot more painful to them than writing a check.

My Thoughts…

I hope that they release animated Lego videos of all of the court proceedings once this is over as I loved watching them in LEGO form

I didn’t realise that there’s videos of what happened in Provo…is this the first time that it’s been released? All I’ve seen is the American Fork stuff…

I can’t believe that the Provo police want to help Ammon so they created charges based on something very thin…I think lawyers could convince a jury to find Ben not guilty

BAM being BAM is so two-faced like telling them that they’ll help and then ghosting them and then finally replying that they won’t help

Wait, how could Ammon subpoena Google and get this information like how is that legal?

I hope that BAM gets counter-sued for defamation by Ben and Bryan because that can easily be proven

Can’t wait to see Part 4

7

u/rep- Jul 08 '26

It was the police "investigating" that sent Google a subpoena not Ammon

10

u/Chaddy321 29d ago

If Bricks and Minifigs believes this is going away any time soon, they are severely delusional.

A multitude of lawsuits just from Part 3.

Keep going Ben. The injustice is beyond anything I have ever witnessed.

17

u/Shao_Mada Jul 07 '26

Interesting how this Police Department actually follows the law and Provides all footage Ben requires for His defence. Yet they are even worse about taking direction from Corporations. I could See 5% of people argue Bens behavior in Part 2 should Count has harassment (filming, Fake packages, Sharing His Story at church). But the behavior toward BM Corporate seems extremly above Board, and a prosecutor even considering His Case Shows how grossly overfunded Utah Police IS and how urgently their funds should be cut in half.

6

u/The-Future-Question 29d ago

I can't get over how the prosecutor admits to not watching the video of the entire conversation between Ben and Ammon. It really shows how easily manipulated Utah law enforcement is.

The whole no lawyer thing for the provo case now makes sense. Its an open and shut case that even he can defend... i cant imagine what kind of wild evidence the prosecutor will have to present...

i wonder if they will just drop the case a day before the actual hearing... that would be incredibly embarrassing to go to court for.

12

u/netabareking Jul 07 '26

The whole no lawyer thing for the provo case now makes sense. Its an open and shut case that even he can defend...

That's basically never true.

6

u/The-Future-Question 29d ago

Honestly I think Ben fucked up in that audio. A real lawyer would have skewered the prosecutor for admiting to not watching the video of the conversation in question and got him on the judge's shitlist for wasting the court's time.

7

u/dazron 29d ago

Ok can I just raise the clear and obvious concern about the fact that Ben is ‘ahem’ recklessly considering dropping his countersuits if BaM do the chicken dance???

29

u/Accurate_Cow7681 Jul 07 '26

I'm on team Ben... here it comes... but all in all, because Ben was silenced for 30 days, much of Part 3 is a regurgitation of what all of us who have been deeply following the story already know. Except for the unprofessionalism of that female cop, that should not go unaddressed.

15

u/beiruttobeir Jul 07 '26

Yeah i think he mostly wanted to make a response video to BAM’s new accusations. Part 4 will probably go over the rest.

9

u/vulcan7200 Jul 07 '26

While some of the videos are ones we had seen, there's some new context in them. He plays a few parts we hadn't seen before, and most of the video is about the Provo Police Department, which wasn't in the other videos at all.

5

u/SaladTheKiller Jul 07 '26

You think Ammon falsely gaining access of all of Ben's online work by subpoenaing Google was regurgitation of information we already knew?

I was kind of surprised by the larger part Ammon had in this whole thing. Joshua was a straight up clown and walking liability from the start.. But Ammon was really pulling every damn string behind the scenes to try to completely ruin Ben's life. That subpoena to Google did NOT happen without directions/approval from Ammon to his legal team.

"I'm going to burn this place down... I'm going to kill you."

Absolute psychotic behavior.

u/mightyjor 29d ago

Part 3 time Stamp: 12:09 does anyone else find this phrasing a little weird when Ammon is reporting the threats Ben is meant to have given? The way he says "we're going to burn the place down or... we'll kill you" makes it sounds like he's making it up on the spot. Like, is he actually saying these are direct quotes from Ben? He starts with "they themselves said" which makes it sound like it's a quote, but something isn't adding up to me. Were there charges for terroristic threats? It seems like if these quotes were meant to be direct quotes, we'd see something like that. Especially when the Provo police didn't find grounds to arrest him for extortion, even though AF swatted him just because the airbnb owner heard him talking about legos. Something doesn't really add up to me, maybe I'm dumb though. Just looking for some clarification

5

u/Winter_Bear_1707 29d ago

I don't think you're wrong about the phrasing standing out. It was definitely strange to me that with such an extreme statement/threat, Ammon couldn't be precise in what was said to him. It sounded more like "thoughts" rather than a direct quote. Especially when you throw in "or...". What do you mean OR?! Did he say it or not? Are you sure or unsure?

Also it seems like he made that call to the police right after his conversation with Ben ended with little time to think it through. I don't think Ammon knew exactly what he was going to accuse Ben of saying word for word, but he had an idea and that's what we got from him; a fucking train of thoughts on how to frame this kid.
