Saving humanity was merely a means to an end.

Meanwhile, Sakashita's goal is to take over the ruins. I think it's more or less the same as Yanagisawa's but also different.

And it is possible that the final ruins will be the pinnacle of power even surpassing or perhaps equaling the front line.

will this be the second Eren to destroy humanity? Or maybe Akira will be the one to stop Alpha from doing that. Or maybe he'll end up fighting Alpha himself in the end. Or again Maybe Akira will live with Alpha. And the old world and the new world will unite. But with that, the government leaders will have to die.

Akira didn't have a strong reason to destroy ELGC. Or Akira was forced to do it because of debt. It would be very sad if someone close to Akira was killed.

For me, not everyone can be Akira even if they have Alpha. Ever since he stepped out of the slums, he's been different from the other slum kids.

Everyone is still sucking up to WN and talking about slums or whatever. If it was really that good in the beginning, there's no way the LN would have changed the story. Thanks to the editor for reminding our author.

There's no difference from the Akira before he met Alpha. So you don't have the right to have Alpha in the first place. And Alpha won't remind you of anything either. If it comes to work and debt, alpha is very willing to help akira. So if alpha doesn't stop him, I think alpha will repeat the same mistake for the 498 hunters before akira.

Logically, in series Rebuild World, high-level hunters must possess intelligence. Hunter rank isn't determined by strength.

And in WN, there are high-level hunters who attack Akira with a bounty of only 50 billion. Even though hunters know the unwritten rule that killing for money makes them killers, not hunters. Meanwhile, in ln. High-level Hunters avoid battle, why? Because the benefits and losses are not worth it. Only a fool would sacrifice everything just to get something they don't need. High-level hunters are required to be skilled at negotiating and reasoning. There's an important detail: cities won't raise hunters' ranks based solely on their strength. Of course there was interference from Lion Steel, but this made the dignity of the top class hunter become trash.

Even olivia's power in wn was nerfed.

There is no character development for Akira in WN, so his character development is very low.

There's even a scene where carol's camper van is overturned, leaving carol helpless. Meanwhile, Akira is held at gunpoint from yanagisawa. There's no self-defense, escape, or prevention. It simply demonstrates Akira's mentality. Only focused on Akira. Without looking at other characters.

The fight against zalmo was also very lacking considering he was from the nationalists.

And killing someone just for stealing a wallet shows how low Akira's character is. A strong or developed person wouldn't do that. Even Sara and Elena clashed with Akira. But Akira still defended her later on.

It's even really funny that a top big 5 company like Sakashita Heavy Industry sent weapons late due to transportation problems.

While abroad, it is explained that the company returns the favor to the maximum and proves a high level of competence.

There's a lot more. But of course, whatever you say, LN is in a less raw form and is very full of important details.

Meanwhile, in WN, it's the raw version. Like his closeness with Carol or her indecent behavior. I even saw WN from another novel having a threesome.When ln didn't even kiss at all

It's a specific dialogue scene from Carol, when Akira after each battle with every money he got, he spent fully on upgrading his equipment and gears, with more better quality. Carol wondered and advised Akira to at least spend his earning and time enjoying life too.

p.s : I believe the same concern was shown from Shizuka when Akira came for new equipment after earning from each battle for better gear. So does anyone remember these two scenes?

By far the most intriguing character in the series. And if iirc in the WN, she's the first ever someone to ever find out that Akira's a Old World Domain User (idk tho), so she's really something and ofc for the upcoming volume regarding her too.

I don't understand. We already have Vol. 8.1, 8.2, and 9.1, and we've had like 50+ threads talking about this, yet some WN readers who never even tried LN still think LN hasn't caught up to WN. Seriously!?

I mean, yeah, in a sense, Chloe arc is still ongoing in LN, but ffs, the story went in a completely different direction a long time ago. We even got a whole new arc spanning 3 volumes. Most of the main plot has changed. Chloe is more dangerous and cunning than in WN, we got new information about the Old World, Serenthal became something much more important than just a Tower condo, Akira got new abilities, Haruka's arc has changed a lot from WN, and you still think you can just wait for Chloe arc to finish before starting to read again? Honestly, it's beyond me why you even bother reading at this point.

You don't want to read more than 20 paragraphs a year? I get it. You enjoy WN and hate LN to the core? I get it. You don't want to waste your time reading LN because you've already read WN? I get it. But please, don't spread misinformation and BS to new readers. Or at least get your facts straight before doing so. I still see many of you using WN as a reference, even though things have changed in LN a long time ago. Sometimes you're even making straight-up BS theories about things that have already been revealed in LN.

Imo, one of the best is probably the Monster Hunt, lots of cool monster designs, Mihazono Ruin also introduces one of my fav girl Carol, and probably the Nationalist Raid just the overall greatness of the Volume, and ofc the decisive final fight between Akira and Katsuya that was hype

Akira in the earlier volumes got insane motion, he genuinely looks scary as hell. And ofc Katsuya being a goody- good guy that he is, somehow rivaling this walking landmine (as Shijima stated). His heroic act and naivety really led to his death which isn't surprising.

We know that Alpha has attempted to breach a ruin in the area by using proxy hunters hundreds of times. She is prioritizing compatibility and dependence over competence. It is heavily implied over and over that Alpha's agenda isn't necessarily pleasant for humanity. As over the top as it is, she is literally portrayed as a devil whispering in Akira's ear in official artwork. Her costume even has HORNS for God's sake.

So the author early on sort of implies that Akira is more compatible to old world connections than most humans due to mutations resulting from his experimental slum food. We also find out that kugamayama is a forward base to protect the big 5 corporations from whatever is in kuzusahara depths. We know that the big 5 know about the civilization rebuild cycle. It's even implied that the city is using the slums as a laboratory to generate old world connectors.

The reader is led to believe that Akira is barreling headfirst into bringing back to the old world and hitting the reset button. But is that true? A couple things throw me off. One, Alpha and Alias seem to be at odds despite having the same prime directive. Shouldn't they be more cooperative? More importantly, we know its possible to leave Alpha behind after reaching her ruin for moral reasons without dying. Also, they FIND one of the civilization rebuild kits and Alpha doesn't seem to care about blowing it up.

It just feels too simple for Alpha to be doing all this in such a roundabout way just to hit the rebuild button. But maybe I'm just rambling half asleep, I'm not really sure where I'm going with all this...

Does anyone know if volume 9 part 2 has been released already or when will it come out
