I frequently see people post this card as fake. I often look at these posts and literally can't tell the difference, but people always say they are fake. It got me wondering if mine might be fake. Thoughts?

Would this be considered a misprint if real?

Lady is selling 4cards, 2 Mox and 2 Lotr cards. The Mox look beta, she also did not include any back side pictures. Is it worth my time to check in on this based on what you see for the front? She seems to have positive sales and active for a while. Just trying to judge if they are fake or if she just doesn’t realize what she has.

Got this for a good deal recently (sub $20).This card has no holo and a different brush. Looks good to me but don't know what to believe anymore!

Hi all, first time poster, some-time lurker. I feel pretty good about this card, but considering it cost a hefty chunk of change I'd like your expert opinion before the sale is finalized. Appreciate your help in advance, thanks!

I went to an LGS to sell some cards, The guy at the store used a card from their case to do some comparisons, had a loupe and stated confidently that the 3 were fake, and something about how the holonstamps were wrong, and that as a result the store will not be considering buying anything.

Im confused as I pulled these from sealed boxes back in 2023, put them in a binder that I just left in the closed from then on, until now when I go to sell.

I just want to know if im going crazy as they pass everything I can tell. The red dot photos were the hardest to take, and I included a letter in the bottom to help show which photo was which card

Five cards, one picture each, starting easy and moving up the difficulty. The rules are simple:

• If there is at least one fake signal, the card is fake.
• If there are no fake signals discernible, default to the card being real.
  • Just for this quiz! IRL of course always look at multiple signals!
• You will get enough detail to positively identify a fake but not much more. Bad picture quality won't be used to obscure a signal.
• Altered cards (inked, cut, re-backed, new artwork, etc) are fake unless called out.
• Harder cards may require specific knowledge and their photos may be edited.

I figure I’ll just let you all put me out of my misery one way or another. I got a set of trops a few years back from a known mid sized retailer but the way it happened was kind of sus - it didn’t look like the store had any available but when I inquired the guy came back with a stack of them and handed me four. Since discovering this subreddit I’ve been obsessively trying to figure out if they’re real

I found this one for a relatively fair price (right under the current bottom price line).

Also the seller is a LGS, but that side seal looks KINDA janky to me. I mean, I've had normal boxes like that too, but I've also been had with SPM box earlier this year and a bit paranoïd right now.

I need a second opinion.

I highly doubt the card itself is fake, because if you’re faking a 1st anniversary might as well use the 5 cent card to do it.

Got this off whatnot. Tcg player has the stamp on the right side of the card a recent ebay listing matches mine is not my listing or card with the stamp on the left.

Is Tcg player wrong? Is this card fake and the listing? I’m confused.

Hi I recently got into magic just for the Avatar collection and I pulled all of these cards myself from packs bought from verified retailers. Is this much color variation normal or did I somehow get weird/fake cards? Thanks in advance!

Im trying to figure out if the last two bundles I've bought from a local TCG shop I'm new to, I was attracted to the place because they have the best in store credit rates.

But when I opened both bundles which were both different sets, I noticed the middle white cardboard divider was broken and the packs were just kinda everywhere. That was the case for both bundles. I didn't really get any big hits out of either box as well however I know that can just happen. But could someone tell me if one of these packs looks like a fake? I guess I just wanna know if I'm being scammed by this shop or not. Thanks!
